The rice is Fukunokou. This is also not found in Kansai, so I bought it. The aroma is slightly pineapple. It is fruity but a little dry and refreshing. Slight sweetness. I was told it was dry, but I didn't feel it was that dry. It's light, but it may not be enough for some people.

Special Junmai sake with 60% polished rice ratio I bought the jacket because of the impressive cartoonish, retro Showa-era "Oniotome" illustrations. The illustration was done by Minako Sonobe. It is made with "Homare-Fuji" sake rice developed in Shizuoka Prefecture. It has a calm aroma and an elegant, gentle taste with a well-balanced flavor, and it tastes great on the finish!

I went to Fukuroi Sake House Yamaya for Kaiun Tachiharu Asashimusubori, and I was able to buy it without reservation every year, but not this year 😅I screwed up 😅. A love that has lasted over two years has been fulfilled. I had a bottle in Ito izakaya two summers ago and enjoyed it so much that I was looking for a bottle to buy someday. I finally met the devil maiden in love😄. It is slightly effervescent and has a rather firm, juicy sweetness, but the mouthfeel is light and cuts through easily. The aroma is greenish, like unripe bananas🍌. Fresh and easy to drink, it goes well with oily fish 🐟.

At a soba restaurant selected as one of the 100 best soba restaurants in "EAT LOG". I returned home for the holidays to participate in cleaning out the oversized trash at my parents' house. After sweating a bit, I found Izumikawa in the fridge and immediately opened a bottle of this unexpected trophy 🎉. It has a slightly soft sweetness, a gradual flavor, and a bitterness that comes in the latter half of the bottle. It is smooth and easy to drink! It is the big brother of Tobiroki, and I enjoyed Izumikawa for the first time in a long time 😘.

The Nouveau chosen by the owner this year was expensive... but he said he had no choice because of the weak yen and the international situation.

Welcome Spring with Iga Sake (5) Iga Sake Fair this spring. The last one is a matured sake. Mie Nishiki's super-harsh junmai. First at room temperature. Pale gold in color. From the slightly thickened mouthfeel, The mild ripeness of the mouthfeel The taste of rice is thick and round, The finish is capped off with acidity and bitterness, while leaving a lingering astringent taste and the umami of rice. The water content seems to have been adjusted, It is easy to drink, yet the thickness of the rice flavor can still be felt, which is typical of Mie Nishiki. When heated, the acidity and bitterness become more pronounced, and the richness of the creamy rice is more pronounced. Umu-umu-umu. Mie Nishiki is no longer brewed.
