This will be the second day in a row that I post on Kariho 😁. So let's get right to it. The color is cloudy. The aroma is fresh and has a hint of yeast. In the mouth, one first senses the sweetness of the rice, followed by a smooth mouthfeel and a rush of acidity and umami that is typical of sake brewing, and finally, a crisp finish. I think it is drier than yesterday's Spring Sakura label. But it is delicious. I paired it with a 3-piece sashimi platter. I'll start with the tuna. The flavor of both fish becomes more intense and the taste increases. Delicious 👍Next, I paired it with salted sea urchin. The strong sweetness of the sea urchin and the scent of the sea bring out the sweetness of this sake. The last big hit is the grape shrimp 🦐. The bonito and fresh onion with mustard I had in Towada was delicious, so when I went to the fish shop to buy some sashimi, I bought this bonito yabeya (according to the fish shop (laugh)). Whoa, I found a sake isshuji I liked when I lived in Okayama😊I bought it without thinking👍It goes well with fish from the Seto Inland Sea 👍I wonder how it would go with sashimi from ☺️ Iwate 😁 looking forward to it 😋. Let's get right to it. The aroma is of rice sweetness with a good amount of graininess (omachi). In the mouth, the sweetness of the rice comes first, followed by a unique sourness, and then a full umami, followed by a refreshing finish. Is it because of the climate or is it more elegant than when I drank it in Okayama? Is it my imagination? With sashimi. I wondered 🤔 what would be good to pair with the horse sashimi I bought yesterday in Towada, and chose this👍. Craft sake from Iwate. They also said it is a new sake with grapes added. So here we go. The color and standing aroma are both rosé wine. After that, there is a hint of rice aroma. In the mouth, the sweetness of the rosé wine and rice is alternately felt, and finally the moderate bitterness of sake spreads. The color is spring-like and perfect for cherry blossom viewing 😚 and very easy to drink. I think even sake beginners🔰 would like it. Serve with horse sashimi. It tastes like wine with garlic (🧄) and like sake without any condiments. Interesting 😄. So let's get started. The nose has a hint of sourness and a little bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel is sweet and juicy, with a hint of bitterness at the end. Anyway, it is easy to drink 😄. Serve with boiled flounder. The sweet and tasty flavor of the sake became even stronger when combined with the finely textured, elegant and light flavor of the stewed flounder. Serve with crispy stir-fried pork in Chinese style. The sweetness of this sake increased due to the punch of the garlic soy sauce, but I think it lost some of its individuality.
