Purchased at the Sei Shuzo Brewery during a trip to Gunma Prefecture. I was told that the "Sei" brand was not available outside of Gunma, so I was allowed to sample this brand, which is distributed within the prefecture, and chose this one because it had the most "piquancy". I had an image that locally distributed brands have a classic flavor, but Kanto-no-Hana is delicious with a modern sweet-tart taste! (I'm sure it will be popular in Tokyo as well) Now I want to try hijirizumu 👌.

I was lured to buy it by word of mouth that it looks like a sludge, but it is not. It is true that it goes down your throat easily despite its appearance, but it is still much thicker than other nigori-style beverages. It's a little too much to drink by itself, but it's good with strong dishes.

I bought this sake because it was praised by Sake Sento Horiichi and I was curious about it. I had never had moromi sake before, but it was a thicker version of nigori (nigori), and while it was very drinkable, it was not too sweet and had a nice balance. There are some bumps at the bottom of the glass, which gives you the feeling of eating rice like amazake!

A sake from Fukushima that I wanted to drink. It may be similar to Sharaku, also from Fukushima. As the label says, it is well-balanced and tastes good without being boring! The oriki was almost imperceptible.

Happy New Year! The first bottle of the new year is my favorite Sharaku, which I bought for the New Year! After much deliberation, I decided to go with the bottle that I thought I would never get tired of drinking... I was told that there were both shogobin and mashubin available, and after much deliberation, I decided to go for the mashubin because I thought I would never get tired of drinking it...! I've been on a sake binge since this morning 🍶🤭.

I managed to get some while it was quickly sold out, and I'm glad I did... The supernatant alone is delicious, but mixing the lees makes it even tastier by increasing the piquancy and sweetness of the rice! Maybe sweeter than last year? I'm glad I got a bottle. It will run out really quickly🤔.

One I've had my eye on for a while. It doesn't have much ori, but it is fresh, gassy, juicy and delicious, just like new sake! I guess it's similar to Omine?

I remember drinking it a few years ago and thinking it was like melon rind, but this time it seems more melon-y and sweeter. The gasiness is as expected, like a sparkling. The second day, though, it was gone. I really like this kind of dry, sweet flavor, which is not as satisfying as Sharaku or Kangiku, and it goes down fast.

I had been curious about this brand for a while. It was said to have "a fruity sensation that bursts in your mouth" but I didn't really feel it. It is said that the brewery specializes in Yamahai, and this one also had a Yamahai-like feel to it. When heated up, it was like a classic. It was not my favorite.

Otters, which I had avoided because I could always buy it. No, it's just plain delicious 😳. It has a fruity aroma and a slightly thickened, mellow flavor that feels like a modern sake standard.

It's been a long time since I've had a chrysanthemum. Recently, I've been pioneering, but I think Kangiku is just right for my taste. It's juicy, with a sweet and savory taste of rice, and it's not too fussy, so you can drink it forever... Well, it's as good as it sounds.

Invited by the store's SNS. It has a mild but acidic taste and is perfectly balanced as a food sake. This is the first time I've had this brand, but I'm impressed by the high level of sake from Nagano.

It was so good that I regretted avoiding Nanaken because it is often sold in supermarkets. It was so refreshing and fruity that it was hard to believe it was 70%. It's a great value for the price of 1,320 yen.

I was curious about this one because it was mentioned in the Salmon Lab video as "not that famous yet, but it's good. It is a gem that makes you think that this is the kind of wine that you can really drink all the time. It has the perfect balance of elegant sweetness, rice flavor, and lightness. It made me wish I had bought a bottle of this wine in a different way from Sharaku.

I have been curious about Hana Yuu for a while! It has almost no gassiness, and is more like a dessert sake, with a strong sweetness. It's quite satisfying and doesn't make you want to drink more, but it's definitely delicious.

Purchased on a trip to Noto. When we compared the sake at the hotel, it was the sake I wanted to drink again. It has no peculiarities and is well-balanced in sweetness and sharpness, making it suitable for a mealtime drink. It is a small sake brewery and is not sold in the city. I think it is a waste of time because it seems to be popular even in Tokyo, but it might be a good opportunity to learn about it through a trip like this!
