Today we will open a bottle of Sairai's Asaromi, which had been sleeping in our sake cellar for quite a while 😀 It is a little more acidic than usual Sairai, so it is probably a summer sake ❓ 😀 . I contact them every night with a 6-bottle sake tasting set, and this Otter is the only one that I can taste properly every time 🤣. Maybe I can easily identify the Otter because I've had it a few times, but the other sakes are too difficult to blind taste because it's my first time 😅. I might be able to tell which sake it is if I drink the bottle until it's empty, but if it's my first taste of a completely different sake in a test, I'm confident I won't be able to tell 🤣.

The sake for the Sake Duploma second test preparation that I ordered has arrived 😀. The sake is Kurogyu Junmai Matsu no Tsukasa Junmai Ginjo Raku Ottersai Junmai Daiginjo 45 Kamikigen Shojo Honjozo Mikuyo Ginjyo Rei Tosa Shiragiku Togin Shochu Fujisai Sweet Potato Shochu Tojo Taimei Barley shochu (normal pressure) Muretsuru Ichikoshi Barley shochu (reduced pressure) Ki Brown Sugar Shochu Torikai Rice shochu Zanba Awamori Total 12 bottles 🤣 Can we compare the taste ❓😓.

Good morning, bouken 😀 I took the first round of the optional test, but in the second round of sake tasting, it seems that 2 out of 6 questions are about guessing the shochu 😅. In the extreme, rice shochu is distilled from sake, so it might be the taste that Torikai-san is most familiar with😇.

Hi Pon-chan 😀 I heard that since shochu is distilled liquor, the boiling point changes depending on the atmospheric pressure and that changes the taste... I used to drink a little shochu, but I had no idea about decompression distillation at that time 🤣.

The other day, I made a trip to Yao City and got 3 kinds of Saikai-san 😀 I really wanted to get them because they are only sold at Inui Sake Shop in Kansai 🤣. In the Kansai region, only Inui Sake Shop carries it and I really wanted to get it 🤣. This liquor store is so unusual that even my office workers who live nearby don't know it's a liquor store 😅. The Junmai Ginjo that I opened today was a delicious sake that is said to be a standard sake of Sairai 😇. The aroma starts off elegant and clean, then fruity on the palate 😀. The aroma starts off elegant and clean, then fruity on the palate 😀 It finishes nicely with a crisp acidity and spiciness 😇. You have to make a long trip to get this sake, but I still want to get it in the future. 🙆‍♂️ There is one more bottle of special Sairai left, but I am looking forward to drinking it now 😀.

I really wanted to drink two sakes this year... Shinshu Kamerei and Sairai 😀. I could drink Shinshu Kamerei at home, but I could only drink Sairai outside 😅. I had heard from bouken and the manager of chuin that the Yao store was the only store in Kansai that carried the sake, but I was hesitant to expand the area where I could buy sake any further 🤣. But the desire to drink at home got the better of me 🤣. I went to buy two bottles of the standard sake after researching on the internet, but to my surprise, the store even had a special sake that was not listed on the internet 😇. I'll save the special sake for the spring sake comparison starting tomorrow, but today I had the standard sake and was happy to drink it slowly 😇. Tomorrow, we will finally start the spring sake comparison 😀.

I bought it at Osaka's only, or rather Kansai's only, Sairai distributor. The Inui Sake Shop is located near Onchi Shrine, walking distance from Kintetsu Onchi Station in Yatsuo. The building looks like a warehouse or an office, so it's hard to enter, but when I pressed the intercom and said, "I came to buy sake! I was told to come in, and I was taken to the second floor office. You sit in a chair and look at a catalog while you choose your items. When the products are ready, you go out and pick them up outside. Please check the instagram and the official website for the brands they carry. This is my first time to buy Sairai's draft sake. I was going to buy only Yojo-no-tsuki, but there was some Asaromi left, so I bought both. Fresh strawberry sweetness. The acidity is impressive. It is refreshing and has a short aftertaste. Unlike 🍍 or ramune, it is a gentle sweet sake that is not flashy.

I finally got a bottle of Sai Rai, which has been getting popular lately. I really wanted to get the nama-shu Hanasumi, but it was sold out, so I got this one. It has a sweetness like grapes or muscat. You can feel the sweetness for quite a long time. There is no gas. I thought it would be a bit more sake like, but I think it strikes the perfect balance.
