First visit to a liquor store and first brand
When I was working part-time at a liquor store, the brewer at Takaraiya told me about this 💫.
Cold sake.
Aroma of yellow apple and pear compote
Light and smooth on the palate.
The acidity cuts through the aftertaste.
Winter Nigorinpic 25
For this Nigorinpik, I really wanted to add this sake to the selection.
Of course, I had never tried this ogara-mi sake before, but I really wanted to try it 😇.
The only Sairai distributor I know in Kansai is a little far away, but I went to buy it 🤣.
I compared the top clear sake, the mixture at room temperature, and the chilled mixture, and found the sweetest flavor was the mixture at room temperature😇.
However, my favorite was the chilled mixture 🤣.
When you put it in your mouth, it goes into your mouth smoothly and cleanly, and when the temperature rises in your mouth, the sweet and tasty taste spreads quickly and lasts for quite a long time without being persistent 😀.
I don't think there are many sakes that have such a long lasting sweet and tasty taste but not at all clingy 😇.
It was a delicious sake that I really liked 😇
Hi Yasbay 😃.
Ayrai, who was designated as an Olympic enhancement athlete, ‼️ was a solid success in recruiting 😄You made the competition a lot of fun 🤗Not persistent sweetness is good 😋.
Hi Yasbay😄
You don't see Bai Sai Lai very often, do you?
I drank it myself, and I agree with you very much that it has a sweet flavor that lasts but is not clingy 😌.
It's worth the effort when you go out and buy it and it's delicious ❗️ 😆.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
Yes...as far as I know, there is only one shop in Yao city in Osaka that carries it, so I do my best to go there when I feel like drinking it 😀.
I think you will probably like the taste too 😇
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
For me, it was a very tasty Nigorinpick enhanced sake 😇.
It was a nice sake with a long lasting sweet flavor, but not at all clingy 😇.
Hi Hiro, good evening 😀
I didn't pair it with cake, but it was a delicious drink both on its own and with a meal😇.
It makes me happy to know that someone else feels the same way 😀.
Today we will open a bottle of Sairai's Asaromi, which had been sleeping in our sake cellar for quite a while 😀 It is a little more acidic than usual Sairai, so it is probably a summer sake ❓ 😀 .
It is a bit more acidic than the usual Sairai, so it is probably a summer sake ❓ 😀 😀.
It has a nice sourness and a clean and beautiful sake atmosphere 😀.
Sairai is a really cosy and tasty sake 😇.
Too bad the stores that carry it in Kansai are located far away and hard to get to 😅.
Good morning, Yasbaye 🐥.
The mere mention of Sairai makes me want to drink it 😻 Pink🩷 label is common in spring sake, but it's a summer version 😳I'm curious as I've never had a more sour one 😊.
Good evening, Pon 😀
Whether it's summer sake or not is subjective for me, maybe it's spring sake... I simply imagined it from the name "morning cool taste" 🤣.
But I felt it was nicer and cleaner than usual Sairai 😇.
I contact them every night with a 6-bottle sake tasting set, and this Otter is the only one that I can taste properly every time 🤣.
Maybe I can easily identify the Otter because I've had it a few times, but the other sakes are too difficult to blind taste because it's my first time 😅.
I might be able to tell which sake it is if I drink the bottle until it's empty, but if it's my first taste of a completely different sake in a test, I'm confident I won't be able to tell 🤣.
The sake for the Sake Duploma second test preparation that I ordered has arrived 😀.
The sake is
Kurogyu Junmai
Matsu no Tsukasa Junmai Ginjo Raku
Ottersai Junmai Daiginjo 45
Kamikigen Shojo Honjozo
Mikuyo Ginjyo Rei
Tosa Shiragiku Togin
Shochu
Fujisai Sweet Potato Shochu
Tojo Taimei Barley shochu (normal pressure)
Muretsuru Ichikoshi Barley shochu (reduced pressure)
Ki Brown Sugar Shochu
Torikai Rice shochu
Zanba Awamori
Total 12 bottles 🤣
Can we compare the taste ❓😓.
Good morning, bouken 😀
I took the first round of the optional test, but in the second round of sake tasting, it seems that 2 out of 6 questions are about guessing the shochu 😅.
In the extreme, rice shochu is distilled from sake, so it might be the taste that Torikai-san is most familiar with😇.
Hi Yasbaye 🐦.
I was also surprised that there is even shochu and awamori 😳I have never had any kind of shochu and awamori and now I know that there is normal pressure and reduced pressure 😳
Hi Pon-chan 😀
I heard that since shochu is distilled liquor, the boiling point changes depending on the atmospheric pressure and that changes the taste... I used to drink a little shochu, but I had no idea about decompression distillation at that time 🤣.
Hello, Yasube-san!
I didn't know there was also a problem with shochu^^; I only know about Class K and Class B (which are required for inventory), but I guess there are many more! It is a good study.
Hello, freelancer man of the first generation 😀
We are of course more familiar with sake, but it is less distributed than shochu, so I guess you need to cover shochu as well if you are a sake diploma 🤣.
Only Otsu will be on the exam though 😇
The other day, I made a trip to Yao City and got 3 kinds of Saikai-san 😀 I really wanted to get them because they are only sold at Inui Sake Shop in Kansai 🤣.
In the Kansai region, only Inui Sake Shop carries it and I really wanted to get it 🤣.
This liquor store is so unusual that even my office workers who live nearby don't know it's a liquor store 😅.
The Junmai Ginjo that I opened today was a delicious sake that is said to be a standard sake of Sairai 😇.
The aroma starts off elegant and clean, then fruity on the palate 😀.
The aroma starts off elegant and clean, then fruity on the palate 😀 It finishes nicely with a crisp acidity and spiciness 😇.
You have to make a long trip to get this sake, but I still want to get it in the future. 🙆♂️
There is one more bottle of special Sairai left, but I am looking forward to drinking it now 😀.
Hi Yasbay 😃.
In Kansai, it's very hard to get Sairai in some places 😓 but you still found a sake that makes me want to drink it again 😅I'll go anywhere for sake 🤗.
Hi Rafa papa 😀
I've been reading your posts on Sake no Wa and it makes me want to try it even if it's hard to get it 🤣.
I'm going to Yao again next month to try Sairai, so I'd like to go with you ❓❓😀😀.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
As far as I know, this is the only place in Kansai where you can get Sairai 🤣.
I'll do my best for my favorite drink... but I can't travel 180 km like J&N 😅.
Good morning, Yasbay 🍶.
Inui Liquor Store...is that the store where you go up the stairs, sit on a chair, look at the catalog and buy? You receive your goods downstairs 🤭 It's certainly different 😅 I've been there a few times. Onchi...I miss it.
I really wanted to drink two sakes this year... Shinshu Kamerei and Sairai 😀.
I could drink Shinshu Kamerei at home, but I could only drink Sairai outside 😅.
I had heard from bouken and the manager of chuin that the Yao store was the only store in Kansai that carried the sake, but I was hesitant to expand the area where I could buy sake any further 🤣.
But the desire to drink at home got the better of me 🤣.
I went to buy two bottles of the standard sake after researching on the internet, but to my surprise, the store even had a special sake that was not listed on the internet 😇.
I'll save the special sake for the spring sake comparison starting tomorrow, but today I had the standard sake and was happy to drink it slowly 😇.
Tomorrow, we will finally start the spring sake comparison 😀.
Good evening, Yasbay 😃.
You really are a man of action😳
I'm jealous of the liquor store in Yao because it's one of the liquor stores I'd like to visit!
I'm really curious to see the product lineup, but I'm also really curious to see what it's like to buy sake from the catalog: ☺️
Good morning Yasbay!
I see you went to Inui 😳The place is located in a very residential area and the style of purchasing this restaurant is very unique 😁.
I have not had a drink at Sairai in a while 😋.
Hi Aladdin 😀
I've finally extended my drinking activities to Yao 🤣.
And the other day I went to a mystery chee shop in Kobe 😅.
From the outside, it doesn't look like a liquor store at all😅.
Please give it a try 😀.
Hello, Haruei Chichi 😀
I've recently been visiting more and more places that I would love to visit in connection with sake, the first of which are Saitama and Nagano prefectures😇.
I'd like to enjoy local food with delicious local sake 😀.
Hi bouken 😀
The security guard where I work lives in Onchi and when I told him about Inui's, he said he didn't know it was a liquor store even though he is a local 🤣.
I'm surprised that it's easier to get to than Sukumasa or Matsusen 🤣.
Hi Yasbaye 🐦.
I heard that Ayrai's home drinking 😳‼️ store is far away and hard to buy so I was wondering if I can buy it while I'm still alive 💦Great action ✨I look forward to comparing the drinks 😊.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
There is only one store in Kansai that carries it, and that one is far from the city, so it's not easy to buy it 🤣.
But it's quite an interesting liquor store, so if you have a chance, please give them a try 😇
I got the impression that it was a little darker and sweeter and more robust than the morning cooler I had the other day. Both are light and tasty, though.
Slightly fizzy and melon🍈ish.
I bought it at Osaka's only, or rather Kansai's only, Sairai distributor.
The Inui Sake Shop is located near Onchi Shrine, walking distance from Kintetsu Onchi Station in Yatsuo. The building looks like a warehouse or an office, so it's hard to enter, but when I pressed the intercom and said, "I came to buy sake! I was told to come in, and I was taken to the second floor office. You sit in a chair and look at a catalog while you choose your items. When the products are ready, you go out and pick them up outside.
Please check the instagram and the official website for the brands they carry.
This is my first time to buy Sairai's draft sake. I was going to buy only Yojo-no-tsuki, but there was some Asaromi left, so I bought both.
Fresh strawberry sweetness. The acidity is impressive. It is refreshing and has a short aftertaste. Unlike 🍍 or ramune, it is a gentle sweet sake that is not flashy.
Good morning, bouken😃.
What an interesting system of liquor store 😊.
I've never heard of HANAHOYAKU, SAIRAI, or any other rare sake from Kanto is available in Osaka in unexpected places (not in Osaka city)....
Good morning, Haruei Chichi🌄.
You can buy most of the sake in Kansai, but there are very few stores that carry it, or sometimes they don't even carry it in the first place 😢.
Good morning, bouken 😊
I see you made the trip to Yao 😳and the store with the riddle system🤣Thank you for your efforts as it seems to take a lot of courage 💦More importantly, thank you for the introduction to the store 🙏.
Good morning, Pon-chan ☔.
I just wanted to post some information about Sairai since they are the only dealer in Kansai and they don't look like a retailer 😊.
I finally got a bottle of Sai Rai, which has been getting popular lately. I really wanted to get the nama-shu Hanasumi, but it was sold out, so I got this one. It has a sweetness like grapes or muscat. You can feel the sweetness for quite a long time. There is no gas. I thought it would be a bit more sake like, but I think it strikes the perfect balance.
Maripornu-san, good evening 🌉
I've seen Bunraku a few times, but I've always avoided it because of its classic impression😅.
The only store that carries it is the one in the office, and it's hard to go there often because of the style of choosing while looking at the catalog 🙄.
