I bought a completely unknown alcoholic beverage out of curiosity😅.
I'll take it 😎.
The first thing that jumped out at me was the acidity and spiciness!
I thought for a moment that I don't really like dry sake, but as I continued drinking, it actually wasn't that simple 😁.
The flavor is glossy and delicious on the center of the tongue, and the light sweetness on the back of the tongue makes the taste even more enjoyable.
As you continue drinking, you will not get bored with the gentle sourness on the tip of your tongue and the bitter taste on the back of your tongue 😚.
As it settles down further, it even becomes fruity.
At first sip, I thought it was just a dry sake and wondered if I made a mistake, but no way 😳.
It was a pleasant taste, and the change in flavor was delightful 😍.
Opened October 30, 2024
Purchased at Seibu Department Store, Sake Sho Yamada
Last time was Houraisen, followed by Hourai.
Very refreshing ^ ^
Citrusy freshness 🍊
It has a nice sharpness, and the gentle sweetness and spiciness coexist in equal measure, which is a strange feeling ^ ^.
It is spicier than I imagined.
It is suitable for both evening and in-between-dinner drinks. ☺️
It's been so hot lately that I've been drinking beer exclusively... σ(^_^;)
And there are no labels that I've never met before.
Tonight, I bought this bottle as a souvenir from Hiroshima!
If it's nice to meet "Houraitsuru", of course it's nice to meet "Yamatoya Original" as well, so it's nice to meet you all!
I opened the bottle immediately...apple...no, it's more gentle. It is a bit flowery.......and then a sip......it has a firm outline, but it is gently sweet.
4 stars
Aki tasted a sake from Hakushima.
It was an unfiltered, unfiltered sake, but rather refreshing, giving the impression of being well-balanced.
It was a truly delicious sake with a mildly umami flavor.
100% Omachi grown in Hiroshima Prefecture
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol 16%.
Relatively subdued aroma
Pineapple
Full-bodied and delicious, with a light sweetness typical of Omachi.
Dry finish
It is best when it is a little lukewarm!
Aroma seems to run off quite quickly, even for a draft sake.
It is best to drink it up within 2 days of opening.
Unfiltered unpasteurized sake with plenty of sweetness.
It has a certain old-fashioned feel to it, and although it does not have the fizziness, sharpness, or modernity that is so popular, it is a deeply flavored sake.
I bought this sake at Yamada Sake Brewery in Ikebukuro Seibu,
Thanks to Sake Sho Yamada, I have had the opportunity to learn about sake from the Chugoku region and Hiroshima Prefecture, which I had not been able to encounter before.
Fried burdock root with sweet and spicy sauce
Deep-fried tofu with cod roe and mayo cheese

I had this sake at a restaurant that does not deal with yaki-gaki (grilled oysters), but it certainly went very well with oysters in general, not just yaki-gaki! It was a light, slightly sweet, refreshing white wine, but instead of an oaky smell, it had a slight aroma of freshly ripened pine muscat, making it even easier to drink than white wine!
