Today we had a tasting and sale of "Okuroku" at Mekada Sake Brewery in Utsunomiya. There was a tasting and sales event for Okuroku at the Megada Sake Brewery in Utsunomiya. I couldn't go because of work. Dora, who is a fan of "O-roku", went to the event 😄♪ From Iwate Meikozo Mr. Oikawa, the managing director of Iwate Meikozo, visited the store 😊. We drank "white beach" on Okuroku day (June 9) last year. Dora-chan won the front hanging in the Okuroku Campaign. Dora-chan took that jacket with her 😄. The executive director was surprised ‼️ And he was so happy! I got her autograph on the front of the jacket and took a picture ✍️ He shook hands with her 🤝🥰 and had a wonderful time 🥰 (too bad he couldn't taste the food 😢). And I bought some 😆🙌⤴️ I drank it last year and it was so good! "white beach"❣️ You have to drink this one now ☝️😆 So here it is! Now it's time to open the bottle✨🥂✨ The aroma is slightly sour and fruity On the palate Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ❣️❣️ Sweet and sour and so delicious 😍 The matching of the citrus-like acidity unique to white malted rice and the rich sweetness is irresistible 😘♪♪ The matching of the rich sweetness is irresistible 😘♪ With an alcohol content of only 12 degrees, it can be drunk in large gulps like a juice. You can drink it like a juice 😋. I'm glad I could drink it again this year 😆💕.

Today is our 31st wedding anniversary 💒🎉. Fat anniversary! Sorry to be so blunt 💦. It wasn't much of an anniversary 😅🙏. What Dora had in mind for this day was Shinshu Turtle Age Festival 🎉🎉🎉. I wasn't sure whether to open the gold one or not... But first this one: ☝️ Every year, Dora-chan buys a bottle at the brewery, then at the liquor store... Dora always buys more than one bottle 💦. I usually have another bottle besides the one I drank 😵. Tanada no Hitokochochi Here's a comparison of 2023, 2024, and 2025 ❣️ I'll drink from the newest one ✨🥂✨ Fresh and fruity aroma of the raw sake... It smells like this 😊. When you drink it Tingling and fruity A pleasant sweet and sour taste spreads in the mouth It's still delicious 👍 As this gets older The sweetness is getting stronger. the sweetness is getting stronger 😚. This is stored in the refrigerator. If it had been stored in remacom, it would have remained the same and fresh 🤔. The 2023's are so sweet 😆. （I don't know if it's the same.) But you know, with soba noodles, it has a bitterness to it. It's a good thing 👍. Dora-chan took this photo in March this year in the terraced rice paddies. The sake brewed by Mr. Muro's junior Muro's junior brewery won the Gold Award 🥇 at the New Sake Competition ㊗️🎊 We had a great time with the sake that he gave us ✨🥂✨! Congratulations 😆👏😆🙌 It has a rich aroma like sweet honey 🍯... Looks delicious😙💕 When you take a sip Mild and sweet ♡♡♡ on the palate From the sweetness like honey or tortoiseshell candy the sourness spreads and you can feel the freshness 💕. Yes, it's delicious 😆💕💕 Very easy to drink 😋. It's sweet going in but the aftertaste is refreshing ❣️ Nice sharpness from this sweetness 😘👍 Delicious on its own or with a meal Delicious 😋♪♪♪ It makes you drink more and more 😚♪ Oh ‼️ shouldn't🫢 We were supposed to celebrate our anniversary after this 🤣. Aizu Sake Brewery Tour (4) After Suehiro Shuzo, we visited Miyazumi Meizou brewery. ❣️ We couldn't find a parking lot. I called from the 7-Eleven in the back (next door?) and an employee ran to bring me a map 🥹 very kind ☺️♡. Parking is in the back of the building. Take the back entrance and go through the nice pathway to the front entrance🐾🐾 They have sake for tasting here too 🤭🤭. You are allowed to pour and drink your own sake 🤭🤭. I drank two glasses of each sake to choose one 😜The best one was Junmai Ginjo 😚. I tried to buy a 4-glass bottle but they were sold out💦. I gave up on the 1.5 liter bottle 😔. And Dora-chan ‼️ didn't give up! She was a little worried, but then she said "I'll buy it! and 😎. Ahhhh, I bought it 🤷‍♀️😂 On the path to the parking lot🐾 Yaezakura 🌸 and ❓❓ autumn leaves🍁⁉️ Anyway, it was so beautiful that I grabbed a bottle and snapped a picture! The street in front of Miyazumi Meisen Brewery. It was a nice view of Tsurugajo castle in the foreground 💕. We could have stopped by two more breweries if we had tried our best. But we didn't want to buy any more sake 😅. So we bought some souvenirs at Tsurugajo Kaikan and headed home 😌. Dinner was at Bando Taro 😋👍. Driving in Aizu was fun 🚙😆🎶. I want to go back 🤗

Aizu Sake Brewery Tour (3) After Tsurunoe Sake Brewery, we visited Suehiro Shuzo (Kaegura) ❣️ I haven't had Suehiro's sake yet! Dora seems to have bought a bottle of "Genzai"😙. Tasting was also good here 😁👍👍 There are 5 kinds of sake including ume-shu ♡. All of them were delicious and I had a hard time choosing one 🤔The ones I had a hard time until the end were Suehiro Yamahai Junmai Ginjo and Kaegura Junmai Ginjo Nama ‼️ I finally decided on the "Kaegura Limited" one 😉⭐︎ I was so happy to be able to taste it. Delicious 😆💕! I'm so excited ⤴️⤴️ 🤣🙌🎶

Aizu Sake Brewery Tour (2) Leaving the Hanaharu Sake Brewery The next brewery we visited was Tsurunoe Sake Brewery in Nakamasa, Aizu. ❣️ When I asked, "Can I try a sample?" I asked. Yes, you can. What would you like? and he says, "Yes, you can. You can choose from the drinks in the fridge and have them poured and have it poured for you. Dora asked the employee what was the best limited edition of the brewery's limited editions. Yuri Shizuku Sake (Junmai Daiginjo) ✨. There are only 600 bottles of this sake from one tank. It is a rare sake and is numbered. ❗️ It was a bit expensive, so I was a bit worried. Dora pushed me to buy it I bought it with a "yay ‼️" 😆🤣. I'm looking forward to drinking it 🎶.

Aizu Sake Brewery Tour (1) Continued from 4/28 Aizu Drive🚙. Watanabe Sota Shoten (first meeting with Mr. M🤗) 　　↓↓Menya Daiichi (Yamashio Ramen 🙂) Noodle Shop Daiichi (Mountain Salt Ramen 😋🍜) 　　↓ Gonoi Sake Shop (😋) Gonoi Sake Shop (get 🍾) And here comes the sake brewery tour. I decided to go back. The first brewery we visited was Hanasharu Sake Brewery ❣️ It was our first visit to Hanaharu Sake Brewery. I know the water is clean, but but it's not enough to make me want to drink more... I drank it at room temperature. The aroma and taste are like an alcoholic sake! Sweet, delicious, acidic, bitter (spicy?) The sweetness, umami, acidity, bitterness (spiciness?) come in order. I think it's like a Japanese sake! It is easier to drink than cold sake.
