Perfect for summer! It's a refreshingly dry sake, perfect for summer! I enjoyed it cooled down to the perfect temperature.
Tochigi Sake Festa ①.
On Saturday, I was looking forward to "Toast with Tochigi Local Sake Festa 2024" 🤗.
As Kotori-san already mentioned, it was a two-day event starting from Friday evening the day before, and Kotori-san, Nanoha-san, Higu-san, and Ars-san from Kenmin-kai participated on the first day: ‼️
On the second day, I met Tsubu-chan at Tobu-Utsunomiya station for the 3:00 p.m. start of the show, and we went to the venue! We met up with Higu and Nanoha-san, who were there for the second day in a row, and they had saved us a seat 😊It was very hot 🥵, so we were very grateful! They were really gods!
I've never had a drink before! So we started off with a toast with a bottle of Junmai Ginjyo Drunken Summer by Higashi Rikishi.
The other drinks in the first half were
Watanabe Shuzo's Asahi Koki Junmai Daiginjo Yumesasara: I knew Asahi Koki was good and I could enjoy the aftertaste 😋.
Kobayashi Brewery's Junmai Ginjyo Kanuma Musume: A dry sake that is easy to drink and refreshing.
Kitanoseki Shuzo's Kura-no-Machi Junmai Ginjo: a dry sake with a sharp taste 🤔.
And Morito Shuzo's Junmai Ginjo Shoninzawa Yumesasara! Jay thought this was the best with a nice aroma 😚.
And the party continued with a lot of talk 🤗.

I had received a bottle at the beginning of the year and had half-neglected it because it was only a bottle, but I opened it because it was the only place I could find it 😁.
I've had it before and I know what it tastes like, but I'll have it 🍶.
The aroma is just like a dry sake!
But the mouthfeel is surprisingly sweet with a hint of rice, and it slowly finishes with a hint of alcohol.
I have never tried heating it up, but I think it would be delicious at room temperature 😃.

I am visiting Utsunomiya 🎵Today I enjoyed a drive while working. Takako cherry blossoms, almost in full bloom, were beautiful. It was nice to see the cherry blossoms, but I couldn't drink it, so I went back to the hotel and drank it 🎵The cherry blossom kabob from Juichi Masamune has a nice cherry blossom design 🎵It has a good flavor and is refreshing and sharp 🎵It has a Showa-era feel to it, which is also good 🎵.

This original junmai is recommended at Tsukii Sake Shop, which we visited during our trip to Nasu. This custom-made junmai sake is brewed with contract-cultivated Gohyakumangoku, Shoninzawa spring water, Tochigi Prefecture yeast T-SSU & Akari No. 10 yeast. It has a banana-like aroma, a hint of alcohol, and a soft mouthfeel that the liquor store owner warns against drinking too much of. The acidity and sweetness are mild enough to keep you going for a long time, and the taste is what you would expect from a local sake. It is a pity that we could not buy a bottle.

I also visited Tsukii Shoten the other day.
They have a great selection of local sake.
Next time I visit, I will look for sake from here!
