We slipped in at the last minute to listen to the toji-san who was a bit curious about us. ◉Hokkoku Kaido Junmai Sake The rice used for this sake is Tamakae. It has a clear and refreshing taste, but with the umami and acidity typical of junmai sake. ◉Hokkoku Kaido Junmai Ginjo A very clear and refreshing sake with a slight umami taste and a slightly pungent finish. Hokkoku Kaido Junmai Daiginjo Sho A high quality sake. The mouthfeel is clear and fruity with a good acidity. This is delicious. Overall, the impression was a bit refreshing. Only one sake brewed last year was made by Touji Nakamura, who came from Takeuchi Shuzo. The sake he brought this time was the same one, and he said he couldn't drink it anymore. And this is where time ran out. It took us about 1 hour and 45 minutes to go around the venue. On the way back, we took the train to visit a liquor store in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture. The owner of the liquor store was just visiting the same event, so we spent about an hour talking with the chatty owner, and then we safely returned home.

Next was the Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Sake Takumi no Omachi. Compared to the Yamada-Nishiki we drank earlier, the taste is a little more robust. The aroma is almost imperceptible, but the sweetness and umami of the flavor is stronger than that of Yamadanishiki. I was full of anticipation, wondering what this sake, which won first place in the Governor's Award, would taste like! I went to the brewery and asked them about it, and they told me that they will start selling it next week. I am looking forward to it! It was delicious! (^o^) P.S. This year, my hibiscus has many flower buds. Last year, they hardly bloomed at all... (^_^; )

TENJOJI Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu 720ml Rice: Gohyakumangoku from Okuidumo, Tsuyahime from Shimane Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 17%. This sake was bundled with the February hanpukai. Drinking Tenshuu makes me want to go to Izumo and eat soba noodles😃. The aroma of this one is very distinctive. It has a pleasant smoky aroma. I guess you could call it fragrance 😁.

Tenshitsu Haru no Tsuki Slightly sparkling Junmai Nigori Nama Shu 720ml Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 18%. I opened a bottle of Tenshitsu that was included in the February hanpukai. It has a very complex flavor. It is fresh but also has a bitter taste, gasiness, and a slight smokiness. It tastes like an adult. Interesting.

The fourth and final bottle I bought from Gonoi Sake Store's free shipping campaign is Karahashi, which is one of my favorite brands ❗ As I wrote in my previous review, it is brewed by Homare Shuzo, the family of freelance announcer Yumi Karahashi 😘. I've had the Yamada Nishiki black kara-hashi a few times before, but I've missed the Yume-no-Koh white kara-hashi a few times at my local liquor store, so I took this opportunity to pop it ☝️. The upfront aroma is a hint of strawberry🍓. It's sweet and delicious at first, but after swallowing, the bitter and sour aftertaste spreads slowly. It's dry compared to Haneya's Aizan, which I opened just before, but I like it because it's not overpowering, and it goes well with almost anything😄. It's a shame that the brand name is not registered on Sake no Wa... 😢.

This is a raw sake from Karahashi that I drank last month: ❗️ It was so delicious and well balanced that I had to buy it because I wanted to drink nama-sake 😊. I bought it because I wanted to drink a nama sake 😊. The aroma is subdued, but it has a freshness and a hint of gas that is typical of nama-shu. Delicious with freshness and a hint of gasiness ‼️ It tastes more Japanese sweetness🤔 than fruity and elegant. #Hamamatsu# Nagura Sake Shop On the second day back to my parents' house, I first visited Kakegawa's 🍶. We went to a local liquor store and bought a bottle of spring limited edition sake. First time drinking this brand, we had it with my family 😁. I was told that it's good to drink it cold, so I made it very cold ❄️❄️ When I opened the bottle, the aroma was not so strong, probably because it was chilled... When I put it in my mouth, I could feel the coldness and the richness of the flavor. And a good amount of spiciness... It's delicious, I can drink it easily 😆😆😆.

The one I went to a liquor store I don't usually go to after a baseball game and drank after I got home. It tastes like Aizan, but is closer to a classic. It is spicy with a little sweetness. It tastes hotter than when I tasted it. It is spicy even if the temperature is changed. I think it is hard to drink by itself. Drinking continues at Don Chaya 🕺. We emptied the weird "Haneya", followed by another round 🍶. We chose our first brand that we could see in the cellar✨ First "Kame no Ou Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate" 🎉. Not much in the way of aroma, but a clean sweetness on the palate, with a pleasantly sharp and sweet [Kame-no-o] lingering finish! I found out later that they revived Kame-no-o and used this episode as a model for Natsuko's Sake, so in a sense, they are the pioneer of Kame-no-o 😁.
