Ryuusen Yaezakura Shiboritate Junmai Namaishu 3000
It's the third day since my sons went back home! We haven't all had dinner at our house yet, someone is missing, but oh well 😭
Today's snacks are grilled salmon halas and braised pork cartilage ❗️
I opened a bottle of this one tonight! It will be served hot again tonight.
The aroma is more rice and alcohol smell since it is hot sake, the first attack is gentle sweetness, then quick and spicy, warming and delicious sake‼️
It's going to be another long night 😚😋.
I was attracted by the episode that the sake was stored in a limestone cave, so I bought it.
I had it at room temperature.
It went in quickly, and I felt its strength right away, with a long aftertaste... It was a sake that went well with a strong-flavored meal at the end of the year!
I drank a lot of sake this year!
I hope to find more delicious sake next year 😊.

Senkin Sake Brewery is a long-established brewery established in Iwaizumi, Iwate Prefecture, in the Ansei era. It is not Senkin. I did not know this, but it seems that the Senkin Group is an influential local company that runs a diversified business, including gas sales and a bus business. The brewing of sake, the ancestral business, is subsumed under one of the group's divisions.
The "Ryu to Sake Cup" is a collaboration between the Sakamoto Sake Brewery and a sake brewery near the Kaiun Bridge in downtown Morioka. As the name suggests, the sake is brewed with the famous water from Ryusendo Cave, and it depicts a dragon that has become one with the cave. The fresh acidity and bitterness are impressive, as is the freshness of the sake, and there is a slight grapefruitiness to the taste.

Firm mouthfeel for a ginjo-shu.
It is somewhat clear after drinking, but you can taste the firm acidity in the mouth.
However, it is not too heavy, and the taste is well integrated.
Summer Trip 2025 Day 3
Ishinomaki and Kesennuma to Iwate Prefecture
Visit Rikuzentakata and Ofunato, then go to Hiraizumi.
Stay overnight at a new inn built this year!
Delicious food again!
Sake selection was a bit disappointing.
There was no famous Iwate sake!
We tried to select 3 out of 5 kinds of sake!
I tried to choose the sake that I had never had before as much as possible!
First, the retro-labeled Ryusen Yaezakura Special Junmai Sake!
The first taste is sweet, but as you drink it, you can feel the rice flavor and it becomes a little spicy!

#Nihon-shu
It feels fresh and gorgeous the moment you drink it. Personally, I felt a freshness like green apples.
Since I have often had dry sake recently, I was able to enjoy a fresh and gorgeous taste.
I had it at a restaurant, and when I looked it up to try it again, I found that it was surprisingly reasonably priced. I will try it at home.
