I've never seen a sake brewery before. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but it's a good thing. It's a good sake that is easy to drink. Purchased at Hasegawa Sake Shop online. The 500ml bottle of this sake costs about the same as a 1.5 liter bottle, but that's why it's so tasty! I always drink it with a sense of anticipation. Alcohol content 17%. Rice polishing ratio 40%. The first saké has a firm, slightly dry taste. The balance is very good. It is not at all fruity like apples, grapes, pineapple, etc., which are common. Last weekend I was out of sake to go with oden, so I went to the local supermarket and bought a 300㎖ bottle for the sake. It has a sweet and refreshing taste. It's good at hiya, but it tastes even better when it's warmed up to human skin temperature to increase the sweetness. However, I thought it would be too clean to pair with oden. I chose this sake because I wanted to keep it light, but.... If I wanted to warm it up, I could have used a more robust Junmaishu or even Honjozo. I'm still learning💦.

On a trip to Shiga, I visited Hirai Shoten. The quaint appearance of the store and the display of products were a sight to behold. Today's bottle was the "Sake Brewer's 3003000 Year Old" (pictured left). The aroma is melon, apple, and pineapple, and the first sip is a punch. It has a mellow sweetness, but the acidity and bitterness make it crisp and refreshing. Delicious. Well, Shiga Prefecture was fun! I'm also looking forward to Kosetsu (I heard it's read as Fouche) on the right side of the photo 😄.

The apple design of this sake made us think that it might have some sweetness, but it was a "traditional Chinese" sake. It has a strong spiciness and sharpness. Hakone Drink Comparison Set (3) On March 1, after a year-long event, I went on a trip to Hakone as a way of consolation! The local sake was served to compare with Japanese kaiseki. Is Hakone Ginjo the name of the brand? However, I am not sure because the name does not come up at all when I looked it up on Google... I haven't had a fire-brewed ginjo-shu in a long time. The ginjo aroma is pleasant. It has an elegant aroma and sharpness, and is the smoothest dry sake of them all. It is very good as a food sake for Japanese food, and goes well with white fish and vegetables. It is also good with sashimi!

I thought she might be able to drink cheaper with the family discount, but alas 😢. Since the last Ryuki was sweet, we wanted to try something a little dry, so we went looking for some Shizuoka sake 🤗. I don't have an image of Shizuoka sake as a modern sake, but I wonder if there is any 😅. Well, I took it out of the fridge and drank it cold 😃. Yes, it's refreshingly dry but surprisingly soft on the palate and easy to drink 😗. I thought this would definitely taste better lukewarm 🍶, so I warmed it up and the mouthfeel became softer and softer 🍶❣️ It is not a sake that has any special characteristics, but the price is reasonable, so it is worth buying 🤭.

I was curious about it in an obfuscation kind of way, so I bought a trial. It's been sitting in my cellar for over a year for some reason, but let's see how it tastes 👀. When I opened the bottle and poured it, it was moist and had a peachy aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth and smooth, just like the name "Sarari". It is just as moist and slightly sweet as the aroma, and tastes just like a peach! The slightly green and sour taste gives the taste a hint of Mac's pickles 🍔. I didn't know that "chirp" means "birdsong. I've gained another piece of knowledge via sake 😌.

This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.

Comparison of nigori sake from Wakayama's favorite brands (1) We compared nigori sake from two of our favorite brands, Minakata and Chokyu. First, let's start with Minakata 😄. The first one has a fresh and fruity aroma like apples and a strong fizzy feeling. It has a full, sweet flavor and a crisp, refreshing taste, and is just as delicious as one would imagine 😍. It's been quite a while since I've had Nanpo, but I don't remember it ever being out of place and I think it's a good brand with a high level of quality 😁.

The first Minakata I've had in probably 3 years, given to me in a 300ml bottle ☺️The 4-pack bottle has a picture of Minakata Kumagusu and the brand story on it, but with 300ml there's no room for that... 😅. It has a thin banana 🍌 aroma with a slight tang of alcohol behind it. After a slightly sweet attack, the aftertaste is a good mix of bitterness, sourness and spiciness. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts quite long. It will go well with both meat and fish without any conflict. The quality of the sake is similar to Kido's Junmai Ginjo. Is it because it is a sake from Wakayama Prefecture?
