profile iconI didn't know that Kitaya had such a sake! It was also sweet but fruity and not just sweet! I really like the taste! I've been wanting to know more about sweet sake lately πŸ’. All-you-can-drink sake with my father and sister (10)

profile iconYakitori restaurant near Kyushu University Hospital Drink with slightly chilled cold sake Clear and colorless The aroma is very mild. Full-bodied on the palate The taste is sharp, with a slightly strong dryness soon after. The aftertaste is quite short. It has a light impression, but when paired with yakitori, it refreshes the palate and is quite good. When warmed up, it becomes quite light and dry.

profile iconPurchased from Niigata DHC Brewery Went directly to DHC Sake Brewery to purchase πŸ’°. I had my eye on this from the Niigata sake camp and when I was about to buy it, I thought to myself, "I'll get more points if I buy it at the brewery..." and so I bought it directly from them 🍢. I also like the regular Kazan, so when it comes to Shiboritate, this one is a no-brainer: ‼️ Personally, when I think of "easy to find, cheap and tasty" sake in Niigata, I think of Kayama πŸ˜™. Opened the bottle right away 🍢 delicious 😊. Usually Kayama has a mellow sweet-umami image, but this one is a bit more assertive πŸ’ͺThe juicy acidity and sweetness are well balanced and very easy to drink, but not too light either πŸ’ͺ☺️ Personally, I prefer the freshly squeezed one. Thank you very much for the drink!

profile iconI had this sake during Christmas time last year. I tried it both at room temperature and warmed. Type: junmai, rice: Haneuki, polishing rate: 60%, SMV: +4, acidity: 1.4, alc.: 15% This is well-balanced sake for everyday enjoyment. Aroma of rice flower and bananas. Slightly dry, mild and soft. It's not complicated and can be enjoyed with most kinds of food. I learned that Haneuki is a table rice. The brewery is very old. It was established in 1597 which makes it the 13th oldest sake brewery.
profile iconAlmost colorless and transparent (bright yellowish green) Fruity aroma like melon Smooth taste, rich sweet taste Easy to drink despite being a pure sake Seems to go well with well-seasoned dishes and cream-based seasonings Sukiyaki, yakitori sauce, tuna sashimi, pasta with cream sauce, hamburger steak with demi-glace sauce, cream stew, smoked cheese Want to drink with fatty white fish sashimi. The container is a can, which makes it look cheap, but the gorgeousness exceeded my expectations, perhaps because it is fired at a low temperature. Since it is convenient to carry around, we hope that it will become a more familiar drink. Alc. 16%. Yamagata rice Rice polishing ratio 55 Unblended sake Sake meter degree -4

profile iconThe menu's introductory message said it had a fruity flavor, but it was refreshing and a crisp drink that went well with fish dishes.

profile iconSpring Poems of the Goddess The taste of the rice is concentrated in the mouth, which is faintly tinged at the moment of taking it into the mouth. After that, it spreads out like nothing else. It falls down your throat with all the umami under control! Quite good.

profile iconToday I tried the Kasahara style beef shigureni. Here is the sake we paired it with πŸ’. The aroma is not so strong, with a hint of fruit, malted rice, and alcohol. The sweetness and umami spread gradually in the mouth, and there is a slight bitterness at the end. It is served with beef stew. The slightly sweet, strong flavor and the freshness of the ginger bring out the full flavor of this sake. It goes well with πŸ‘Also, the best cospaβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜Mild and refreshing finish than the usual image of Toyo Bijin☺️ Rice】100% Yamadanishiki from Hagi Alcohol content】15εΊ¦ Beef stewed in a saucepan Price including tax】1,320yen

profile iconThere was a comet at the second restaurant, so I decided to go with the flow and had to drink it, and was served what seemed to be a limited edition. This one was a little richer, with more Omachi... Both are delicious.

profile iconThe aroma is mild, but the taste is clean, sweet, and sharp. It went down smoothly and easily.

profile iconHome drinking. 100% premium grade Yamadanishiki rice produced in Hyogo Prefecture. Luxurious junmai sake and drinking comparison 😊. The sake rice already seems to be at a different level. The color is clear. When the bottle is opened, it has a sweeter aroma than the Junmai sake. The sweetness of muscat on the palate. The sweetness is the same as that of junmai-shu, but it is moderate and elegant. It also has a thick umami flavor, as one would expect from a daiginjo. The mouthfeel is mellow, and the ginjo aroma is strong. Compared to Junmai, it is more rounded and harmonious. I was surprised at how much difference there is between the two. ❗️ and realized it. πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ

profile iconHouraisen is a clean ginjo-shu in general, and it is surprising that the aroma does not collapse even if it is left at room temperature. It is almost impossible for the sweetness to become rich or for it to have a Maillard-type burnt smell. It is a tough sake with a sweet, cappuccino-like quality. The soft, sweet flavor is refreshed by the gaseous and bitter profile, making this a delicious sake.

profile iconThe other Sunday, Rafa, the sake goddess, took me and my husband on a tour of the liquor stores in Kita Osaka😍! I usually only inhabit the South Osaka area, so the tour was a lot of fun and felt like a trip 🩷Thank you Rafa-san for a precious and wonderful time ❣️ We went to 4 shops and started with 5 different kinds of sake tasting, which I didn't expect. So this is what the sake gods are like: ⁉️ We bought a lot, talked a lot, and had a lot of fun😊Thank you Rafa, reallyπŸ’•. I'll give you more about the sake we bought at that time soon. We went to the other sake shop. The manager told us that there was Asahitaka today, and we took a bite. ❣️ The taste is stable and delicious, the ultimate in freshness πŸ˜†πŸ‘πŸ‘.

profile iconAfter more than two years of practicing and copying heated sake recipes, I finally got to enjoy a full course meal from the legendary heated sake master, Guts the Heated Sake Maker, and I am once again hooked on heated sake. I'm already wanting to heat up everything. The cocktail of slowly heated and chilled sake, the mellow warmed sake and the freshly chilled sake is bliss. The warmed sake is also delicious. Of course, cold sake is great, too.

profile iconI came here on a business trip to Hachinohe πŸ’ I unexpectedly found and ordered Asahi Taka instead of Mutsu Hachisen. It's been about 8 years? It was sweet and rich, with a hint of bitterness at the end. It has been a long time since I have had a real brewed Asahitaka. The sweetness also makes me nostalgic πŸ˜„I paired it with sashimi, but it goes well with it. The button prawns are delicious 🦐. Rice polishing ratio: 55%. Alcohol content】15εΊ¦ Sashimi

profile iconNext up, some local sake. Enayama Pure Sake made with Hidahomare from Gifu Soft. Sweet but clear A stylish restaurant with a reasonably good lineup, but no customers.., It's Friday night, but maybe it's too early? I'm trying not to drink too much for tomorrow, though I still have a lot to drink,
