Special sake that I got as a gift when visiting the shuzo. It is new year blended koshu released from the brewery every new year time. It blended the Daiginjo from year 1989, 2001 & 2013. Surprisingly, its still very light body - unlike other koshu which makes you too full. I like the aroma, while soy sauce and umami is significant, you can also feel the raisin, dried grapes inside. On palate it leans more towards coffee, toffee & dark chocolate. Serving hot is a good choice too.

The third group of the Sake Rice and Yeast Association is Gintome and Yuko's Idea from Iwate Prefecture. Iwate is often named after the pure-heartedness of the Tohoku region or after Kenji Miyazawa, and the rice is Gintome, which is a Gin user. Yuko, the yeast, seems to be named after the developer, Ms. Yuko Yamashita of the Iwate Prefectural Industrial Technology Center. It is a clear, dry sake. Sake from Iwate is interesting in many ways. (- 迭- )🍶🍶🍶🍶 Today I got a sake called Chushingura that I got as a gift 😀 It says it's first shibori-nama-shu but it was aged at room temperature for more than 6 months 🤣Strong style 🔥💪🏾 but I chilled it before drinking 👀. The aroma is mild🤔. When you put it in your mouth, the rich flavor of rice 🌾 spreads in your mouth 😊👍and it has a nice sharpness so it's a very drinkable sake 😚👌. I don't know about the original raw, but this is a delicious sake 🥳.

This is the first time I've bought bamboo island since the new system was put in place. According to the official website of the Japan Famous Sake Association, the rice is Nihonbare and Yamadanishiki. The lees are submerged and when mixed, it is slightly effervescent and petite. Slightly sweet and bitter. I wonder if it is better to drink it while it has gas? Once the gas is gone, the bitterness will make it hard to drink 🤔. I wonder if it would be sweeter to drink the alcohol by itself?

OSAKA-JO SAKE SQUARE 2023 It is a very crisp, dry, deep-flavored Ajiginjo. The aroma is subtle. The mellowness is more apparent in junmai sake. This is also a good sake. I drank 8 glasses this time and they were all good! There are so many good sake that I can't keep up with them all! It's a happy scream!

Birthday gift alcohol, Part 2 It's called Sake no Wawa 50 check in. Ibaraki sake that Manachie hasn't had yet😊. It's clear, light, a little bitter and has quite a bit of sake feel to it. A little graininess. It is good to drink with soda or on the rocks. The more you drink red rice or ancient rice sake, the more you realize the greatness of Ine Mangaka 🤔.

Hinode Tsuru Junmai Ginjyo Miyamanishiki 60% 15% 720ml 1980yen We also bought a bottle of Honjozo at the brewery, but it was a completely different impression. The Honjozo was a little peculiar. This one is bitter with concentrated flavor and acidity. It is not at all dull. It is not flashy, but rather calm and delicate. The sweetness is graceful and has the taste of a first-class sake. The rice is local Miyamanishiki from Hitachiota. I found out that the heir who returned to his hometown had designed, brewed, and engineered the sake in a new attempt. It is a very good normal sake. It has a sweet and strong flavor, and it is perfect when heated. It has a moderate alcohol content, which is typical of a normal sake. It is a versatile sake that also makes it delicious! I once thought that Kichiemon Nakamura was a great sake because my brother is a Kabuki fanatic, and this sake may have the same weight. If it's a regular sake, I imagine it would be a Junmai sake, and it would be a very bad one at that! I would definitely like to try the junmai sake! Mr. Ota is in Shinjuku! Mr. Ota went to a sake bar in Shinjuku, where the sake was delicious, and to Robeliya, a very deep bar in Shinjuku's Golden Gai. A 30-minute broadcast in two bars is too short!

Today is the annual New Year's Day visit to Kawagoe Naritasan Naritasan, and then to celebrate the golden wedding of my wife's parents. Dinner. The drink menu consisted mainly of wine, but there was also sake on the menu, and Naozane was recommended as a mid-meal drink. The sake was classical and calm, but had a moderate flavor of rice and a sharpness that left a good impression. I would like to try it at home next time.
