[New Year's Sukiyaki Dinner at Kitchin Usagi
Since we had already opened the "No6 S-type", we brought another bottle of "No6 S-type" for the "Year of the Noon", so let's open it 🍶.
Ooganbunsho Tank Pressed, Junmai-Sembonshiki
I got it last year during my trip to Onomichi, but when I looked at it more closely, I realized it was almost a year old😅.
Yellowish hue, clear yet slightly acidic aroma, smooth taste, solid mature aroma, and a lingering mineral aftertaste with a mixture of cleanliness and maturity, and a lingering bitterness on the tongue.
The taste is quite heavy, different from the cleanliness of "No6 S-type", and gives the image of a unique sake 🤔.
Of course it goes well with sweet Sukiyaki, but the aroma of maturity and bitterness on the nose still makes me think of 🫶this mark!
Well, the sukiyaki was excellent, but the proprietress was so excited that she purchased 1 kg of beef for a reservation for 4 people, and since there was an absentee, each person got a little more than 300 grams of beef!
I thought it would be okay, but the landlady miscalculated and we had to fight a food fight to finish 1.3 kg in total 🤣.
I think I could have afforded it in my prime, but I've been eating a lot less lately, so it was an epic battle ✨.
