Tochigi Prefectural Association (2) Next up was the sake that was left for me 🍶 Aikoku by Hououmida. The ancient sake rice "Aikoku No. 3" was revived and brewed by Sengoku and Hououmida respectively 🍶. Let's start with Hououmida! The aroma is fruity like apple, but less so. The taste is not so sweet. The taste is not so sweet, but there is umami from it. The acidity and bitterness overlap in a good way and it finishes well. Overall, it is tasty and easy to drink. I was invited to participate in the Tochigi Prefectural Citizens' Association yesterday 😄I'm grateful to have been invited 😊. I was invited to the Tochigi Prefectural Meeting after work, but everyone welcomed me warmly. Well, I started with Fukkai. I had drunk it before and enjoyed it. When I drank it, I felt the sweetness was a little strong, probably because it was at room temperature. After that, there was a strong aftertaste with umami. I felt it was a little thick. It is still delicious 😄.

Sake I drank a while ago! Summer Pilgrimage Sake😄A sake to thank for a safe and peaceful half year and to wish for a peaceful and safe coming half year! Sake brewed by Urakasumi. The aroma is like a light apple. The sweetness is moderate and the umami is strong. It has a nice crispness with no sourness or bitterness. It is a typical Miyagi sake that does not interfere with food. Delicious!

This is my favorite summer junmai from Tedorigawa! I am also interested in the fact that it is dry. The aroma is of apples. Very mild aroma. The taste is mildly sweet and umami. It has a refreshing aftertaste with a hint of acidity. Although it is dry, it also has umami and the taste of sake can be felt. It also has a sense of transparency. Delicious 😄It would go well with fish sashimi and other dishes.

It's been so hot these days that my body has been getting beat up...this is when I need to drink! Today, I'd like to introduce you to Tsukiyoshino's Moeki, which has been my recent favorite! I guess it stands like a summer sake. I'm happy to see that they have been releasing many different kinds lately 😊. This time I'll have the Yamahai. The aroma is like apple and muscat. It is milder than the ones I have had so far, but there is a fruity aroma. The taste is less sweet and more umami. The acidity is like a white wine, which is nice. The aftertaste is moderate 😊It has a modern feel even though it is called Yamahai. Today, there was an insta-live with Yoshino Tsuki, so we enjoyed the sake while listening to the live performance. It was great to hear about his passion for sake making. I hope that the town of Ueda will become better and better 😄Next time I want to visit the sake brewery!

Today is Father's Day, so I gave this to my father! The other day I went to the Sairin Honten for the first time in a while! This dry sake was recommended to me there! It's my first time to try Fukuoka sake😄Yaman no Kotobuki. It's my first time drinking Fukuoka sake 😄Yaman no Kotobuki, a dry sake from a brewery in western Japan. I'm curious! The aroma is of muscat, pear, and apple. The aroma is muscat, pear, and apple, with a hint of citrus. But the aroma is relatively mild. The taste has a light sweetness and umami at first. Then the acidity comes and the sharpness is good! It's light and tasty rather than smooth. Well balanced and delicious 😄. I'm glad my father enjoyed drinking it.

When I heard that my brother was going on a business trip to Tokushima😄, I thought "well, I've never had Tokushima sake before" and got him to buy some for me (lol). That's it! Naruto Tai Kamikatsu😊The aroma is a light scent of muscat and apple. When you drink it from there, there is not much sweetness, but good umami and acidity, and it finishes nicely. Very beautiful taste. The brewing method must be well done...the water must be very good, and there is no sense of alcohol. It is not too alcoholic, yet it has umami and is not light. I like this sake very much! The back of the bottle has a list of the best food items that go well with this sake. I felt that the brewery is very kind and careful in its production. I would like to visit this brewery.

Long time no see Fukushima sake😄 I haven't had a lot of Naraman, but this was my first time to try a fresh stored sake, so I bought it 😊. The aroma is fruity like green apple. When you drink it, the sweetness is moderate and the umami is strong. I can also taste the acidity from it. The sharpness is good! I thought a fresh stored sake would be more robust, but it has a nice sharpness and is easy to drink. It is great to drink at this time of the year! This sake is not dry like a summer sake, but has a delicious umami flavor.

A friend gave me this sake as a birthday present! Kaganoi. The aroma is pure and grand, but also mild. The aroma is jun Dai, but it has a mildness to it! It also has a little bit of acidity and a nice sharpness. It is a sake typical of Niigata Prefecture. I like the taste.

Now, what we will receive on this memorable day is Fukkai, which I was curious about after seeing it on a certain YouTube! It's my first time 😄. The aroma is muscat and grapefruit. It is relatively mild. When you drink it, it has a moderate sweetness and a fizzy feeling. The bitterness is just right! The aftertaste is firm. Hououmida Mikumari is beautiful and has a rough bitterness, while this one has a strong umami, but the fizziness and bitterness make it easier to drink and more mellow 😄I can see why both are popular!

I have always been curious about Houou Mita Mikumari😊I couldn't drink it last year, so I wanted to take my revenge! The aroma is apple and muscat. The aroma is of apples and muscats. Here it is today! A new challenge sake called Minamikaze by Garakudai, which I was curious about when I saw it on Netto! The alcohol content is an unbelievably low 10.5 degrees. Normally, this would cause some twitching, but that's Garakudai's skill! The aroma is mild, with hints of apple and muscat. When you drink it, it has a mild sweetness and a slight carbonation. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing 😄 It is low in alcohol but not flattened. It is a low-alcohol sake with a lot of umami without being flat. The acidity seems to be made with white malted rice, but it is not emphasized, but is a good accent 😊They are showing their skills without regret. Excellent 🥲.

This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.

This is what I drank on my father's birthday the other day! A special Junmai sake from Sake Tomo, a friend of mine gave it to me😄I am happy to have this for such a special occasion. The aroma is fruity! Peachy, apple-like, with a hint of sourness. It also has a hint of refined sugar. When you drink it, you will find that it has the unique "sweet, delicious, and fruity" characteristics of Imi. The sweetness is more like syrup than sugar. The sweetness is not so sweet with some bitterness and sourness at the end. The aftertaste is well balanced. My father was also pleased with it. On the back label, there is a note that the current Toji's father passed away... I wonder if it is some kind of coincidence that I drink it on his birthday. I hope my father will live as long as possible.

When you drink it, it is sweet and slightly carbonated! The taste is sweet and slightly carbonated, with a sourness and bitterness that finishes off nicely. Yesterday was a nice day for a walk! There is a cherry blossom alley near my parents' house, and the double-flowered cherry trees are so beautiful🌸. Well, on such a nice day, I bought this! Nemuchi-san bought it because she was curious about it! Fuji Masamune brewed by Onuma Shuzo, famous for Kenkunichi! The concept of Kenkonichi is to make a sake that doesn't interfere with food, while Fujimasamune has a slightly higher glucose content, making it more of a sake that can be enjoyed on its own. And what can I say, I wanted to drink "Sake Mirai" sake this time (lol)! The aroma is mild, with hints of raichi and apple. When drunk cold, it has a beautiful sweetness and umami. The aftertaste is firm and delicious. When it is left a little longer, it has more umami, better sweetness, and a touch of bitterness. It is more delicious 😄I guess this Sake Mirai is characterized by its sweetness and umami. And the sweetness is just beautiful. The sweetness is like a Japanese sweet (lol)!

The aroma is of apples and peaches, and although it says it is dry, it is fruity.
