I got it as a Wakamatsu souvenir! It's very nice to be able to buy the "be careful not to open the bottle" type by mail without worrying about it ✨. Obtained on a trip to Hokuriku before the summer! I've been trying to figure out when to drink it, but I got some inada sashimi to enjoy as an accompaniment👍. When opened and poured, the aroma is full and round, like molasses or grain. The mouthfeel is glossy and refreshing. The clear aroma of "Gohyakumangoku" spreads through the nose, with a slight banana taste. There is a stimulation of sourness and astringency that slowly comes to the tongue. It has a wide range of umami taste with a spiciness. It is a well-balanced taste that can be enjoyed by tuning in and resetting during the meal ✨. This is a locally brewed sake from Himi, where yellowtail is a specialty! As expected, it goes perfectly with inada sashimi 😋.

PB products obtained on a recent trip to Wakamatsu! This plant shop always has a great selection. I bought so many things that I had to send them in the mail, but this was one of the things I was looking forward to 👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, there was a presence of acidity, and the aroma was just like a white wine. It is light on the palate, with a sweet and sour taste that spreads quickly. The original taste of black vinegar drink, white wine, or apple yogurt with a strong lactic acidity seems to be to different tastes. I got it on a trip to Okinawa last year! I had bought "Yatsuka" before, but I had never had nigori type before, so I brought it back from Okinawa and saved it 👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was of cemedine and alcohol. The mouthfeel is moist and the syrupy, dark sweetness is blindingly sweet. It tastes similar to medicine syrup or shaved ice syrup. However, it is not sticky, and the sharpness of the brewer's alcohol rounds it out nicely. When stirred, the sweetness and cemedine taste is subdued and a bit silky. Instead, the crispness of the spicy acidity increases its presence. It's a sweet-sour crisp taste in the Yogurina or Pilkulu family ✨. Traveled to Okinawa almost exactly one year ago. Time flies. 🏝️

I drank the Shu type in January and have always wanted to have a bottle of "Takagami". I was surprised to find it at a sake store where I stopped by! And it was the "soma" type (皚) that I had been curious about! I opened the bottle on the same day with a dance of joy! When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was soft and fresh, with a hint of white peaches. The silky, yet light and easy to drink, it makes you smile! Soft sweetness like Wasanbon and white peaches. On the other hand, a slight gasiness gives it a refreshing rum-like taste. The juiciness and vibrancy of the pineapple with just the right amount of acidity and astringency comes in, and it disappears just like that, so it's a delicious drink that you can enjoy ✨. I can't stop nimanima from start to finish 😋. It's going to be in my top 10 of the year...!

Obtained on a trip to Akita & Hirosaki! I was strolling through the store while waiting on my way home when I came across a pair of Tasake glasses and had to pick them up in a hurry. I am so thankful that we unexpectedly ended our trip with Tasake ✨. When opened and poured, the aroma is mild, elegant, and aromatic, like seasonal apples and pears. The mouthfeel is smooth and mild. The palate is smooth and soft, with a clear, round, gentle sweetness like yellow peach or pear. The bright, crisp acidity and astringent astringent taste that slowly fades away. The brilliant sharpness fades out gradually. It is a colorful taste just like autumn leaves! Sake lees of "Tasake" are usually sold at local supermarkets. Enjoy it with Aomori's souvenir sake by making kasu-jiru (sake lees soup) or other dishes👍.

I found "Nagosake" by chance! Other brands have started to sell new sake, and we can feel the change of the season. Today, the last day, we went to Hirosaki city and Hirosaki Castle! It has been three and a half years since I became aware of Matsue Castle. It's been more than 10 years since my first visit to Matsumoto Castle. I'm so excited to have stepped on the 12 existing castle towers that I've longed to see 🙌🙌🙌🙌! The majestic Mt. Iwaki seen from the castle. The historical appearance of the castle. And the rich gradation of the autumn leaves as they change to fall colors was a sight to behold 😌. After lunch, we enjoyed sake time with Hirosaki's specialties! We enjoyed three different kinds of sake ✨. Let's start with Kikusen on the left. Aroma of pear and apple. It is smooth and clear with a mineral taste. The umami with sourness comes slowly. The crispness that disappears nicely. It was a perfect taste for a meal!

However, the mysterious and magnificent Iwakisan shrine and the outstanding quality and pleasantness of the Momosawa Onsen & Utaki Onsen hot springs were captivating. ☺️ And on this day, we stocked up at the local supermarket and drank at the hotel. We started with "Kanman". When I opened the bottle, I could smell the sweet aroma of sugarcane. Then I smelled sulfur from my hand (♨️). It is smooth and light. The cleanness comes from a hint of acidity. It is easy to drink, with a slight hint of sweetness and astringency, but it disappears without a hitch. It was so delicious that I could understand why I had seen it in almost 90% of the supermarkets and souvenir shops I had visited so far!
