The year will not end with a "one and done", so we will end the year with the usual "one and done"! It was chilled in ice temperature, so the taste was as refreshing as melted snow! The sweetness of the rice spreading lightly and the dryness of the "Akagisan" taste is outstanding! A perfect way to end the year ✨! The last bottle opened this year! We will be drinking "Tobiroki" which we got together with "Hirotogawa Nigori"! I was looking forward to it because it is the first Daigin class! When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was as clear as the wind with a hint of lychee and muscat. The palate is clean and pure. It reminds me of the "Kuroryu Shizuku" that I drank before! A world of endless transparency. The fresh, sharp, umami astringent taste wafting through the air. The taste is a perfect balance of light lychee-like fruitiness and a full-bodied rice-like aroma! And as it disappears like the wind, it is now in the realm of scenic beauty✨. Along with New Year's Eve Soba! This year has been a good year for me as I was able to conquer 47 real prefectures, 12 existing castle keepers, and 100 CI of Akagi Mountain 🤗.

I stopped by the store during the New Year's holiday shopping and found this one. 720 size was sold out and only 1800 was available, but I brought it back with me because I thought it was a good chance for me 🤗. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was like melon, pear, and white peach. The mouthfeel is light and smooth. It has a crisp stimulation of gas and acidity, and a soft and supple sweetness that spreads slightly. A slight astringency is added, and the taste has a green fruitiness like kiwi and melon. The dry taste disappears quickly and easily. It is a taste that disappears in the blink of an eye ✨. Serve with some taro made with Furusato's 🍠! Overdrinking warning issued...!

We opened a bottle of "Akebono", a souvenir from Hokuriku (Himi), after a year-end party and a day off from drinking! Finally, the last bottle of this year is coming soon. ✍️ When you open the bottle and pour it, it is smooth and has a modest aroma of banana and sugarcane. The mouthfeel is supple and light. From the refreshing clarity, the acidity and rice-like umami taste spread gently and are deep. However, it is dry and crisp without being too assertive. There is also a slight sweetness from the rice, making it light but richly delicious! As expected, it pairs perfectly with fresh fish. The harmony and resetting of the flavors with the deliciousness of hagatsuno and mackerel is irresistible. The stylish label depicts a sunrise and the Tateyama mountain range. It is a reminder that the new year is coming soon.

Merry Christmas✨🎅. So, Santa Claus -> Red -> Akagisan (Mt. Akagi). We have been waiting for "Shiboritate" this season as well! When the bottle is opened and poured, it is clear and transparent with a fresh aroma of pears and green apples. The palate is clear and light. It is light and crisp with a spiciness that is typical of Akagisan, while the roundness and full-bodied umami of junmai spreads out slightly. There is also a slight sweet acidity and fresh astringency, a perfect balance of lightness and mellowness. Akagisan" quality is completed with a dry sharpness that goes down your throat. It is a delicious wine that can be easily matched with food ✨. It is a particularly good combination with chicken and pizza in terms of resetting 🍗😋. I am looking forward to this season's Akagisan series!

I was curious about this last year but passed on it due to inventory! I was more and more curious about it after reading the reviews, and this year I was able to get it just in time 🙌. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is fresh and fruity, with melon and kiwi-like fruit. The mouthfeel is soft and smart like cotton clouds. It has a shw~y, enveloping gasiness and a silky, glossy smoothness of nigori. The deep flavor and acidity of dairy products and lactic acidity come out of it. It has a honey-like sweetness, but is tightened by bright acidity and dry astringency. This is a delicious, over-drinking warning! 😋 A pleasant taste with a lot of attributes but not too much to get tired of drinking. This is one I would definitely pick up again if it comes out again next year ✨.

I received a bottle of "Kozen Josui" for my birthday. I am very thankful to open the bottle because I usually see it and have not had it for a long time 👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the gentle aroma of sugarcane and peach aroma came to me. The mouthfeel is like water. It has a fresh astringency and a slight sweetness with a hint of rice. This is a Kanazawa limited edition label obtained on a recent trip to Hokuriku! It's getting colder and darker sakes are getting warmer. We are ready to open the bottle 👍. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is fragrant and deep, with hints of soy sauce, miso, herbs, and burnt oak. The mouthfeel is dry with a slight roundness. The mouthfeel is dry and slightly rounded, with a refreshing acidity that spreads out in a flash. The astringent taste is tightened up and the umami of rice swells up. The full-bodied flavor of fermented seasonings and grains. It has body but is well-balanced and delicious ✨. It is still a great sake that you can't go wrong with! Of course I will enjoy it warmed up and take my time with it 😋.

And the Kakushin Honmaru of "Jyushidai" which I could drink again this season! Elegant and bright aroma of banana and melon type. Pure and fresh, with a silky soft mouthfeel. It has the freshness of a new sake, with tropical fruitiness and sweet acidity spreading out, but it is elegant in its gentle appearance. It was a delicious taste of quintessential Jyushiyo quality. The trip to Gunma the day before yesterday and the trip to Tochigi yesterday, plus drinking. With this, I have completed everything I have left to do this year! Now I'm going to work 6 triple shifts in a row to keep the fire burning until the new year starts 🔥.

The seventh glass was to Houraisen, a label I had never seen before! Slightly apple aroma. The sweet and astringent flavor of caramel, grain, and bread spread softly. However, the astringent taste disappears along with the purity of the ginjo flavor, making it easy to pair with food👍. It goes well with eggplant dengaku!

The sixth cup is for the leftover girl who drinks it every time she sees it 🔪. Aroma like custard or pudding. The mouthfeel is full of originality, with herbs, leaves, and earthy aromas spreading out with the acidity. It was surprisingly refreshing and tasty as it flowed vividly as it was while producing an acidic and astringent type of character! I think this may be the first time I've been hit by an earthy-herbaceous type (?).

Yesterday, I went to Kinugawa - Utsunomiya for my last trip this year! It was a short trip as I had a drink in the evening ahead of me, but I enjoyed ♨️🥟 again👍! When the bottle is opened, it has a sweet and gentle aroma of grain and sugarcane type. The smooth mouthfeel and the sugar-based, sinking sweetness are in tune with the delicious taste of dumplings. The taste was pleasantly salty and refreshing, and it reset the oil ✨. I will visit again next year 👋 (*P.S. I mistakenly uploaded the lemon milk I drank on the Shinkansen in October. Sorry)

The last area where we could see the Chichibu Mountains, Mount Asama, Mount Haruna, Mount Akagi (and the snow-capped Tanigawa Mountains in the background) was truly scenic. It was a great way to end my trip to Gunma, and I couldn't resist eating some Jyoshu barley pork cutlets with a side of the view! Lastly, in honor of the menchikatsu, we had "Kanto no Hana" (flower of Kanto), which goes well with meat. Banana and tropical fruit aroma. The palate has a unique touch of lactic acid beverage-type softness and sweet-sourness. However, it is not clingy and gradually becomes clearer, giving it a sense of balance that makes it suitable for eating. It was a beautiful taste, not unlike the earlier "Kwangto"! We will visit again next year with Gunma fever. 🙂‍↕️

Afterwards, we went for a walk around Tamamura Hachiman Shrine and the roadside station! The Hachimangu Shrine has a long history dating back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333), and the roadside station is famous for its vegetables. There was so much to see and do that we could not spare time to move around, and we learned a lot about geography (continued next page) Since there was still time, we next went to "Kouto," which is hard to find even in Gunma Prefecture! Yogurt-like lactic aroma. The mouthfeel is refreshing yet mild. It has a mellow, grain-like flavor with a hint of Sawan, pickles, and sesame seeds. It was definitely delicious warmed up or during a meal.
