Next is the version with gold leaf!
When the bottle is opened and poured, it is almost unscented.
The mouthfeel is light and sharp. There is a slight sweetness from the rice, but it is tightened up by the spiciness and dry acidity. It has a penetrating umami flavor and a sharpness that goes through you like a breeze. And the majestic Mount Akagi written on the label. The beautiful green scenery of Mt. Akagi and "Akagi Oroshi" (grated sake) come to mind when you drink this delicious wine! ⛰️
The gold leaves fluttering in the air make this special honjozo a little different from the usual!
A perfect way to start the year ✨.
Happy New Year! We look forward to serving you again in the New Year 🎍.
The first bottle to be opened this year is, of course, Akagisan! We will have two bottles this year 🔥.
When the bottle is opened and poured, it has a fresh, calm and fruity aroma of white peaches and pears.
The mouthfeel is light and refreshing, with a moist umami spreading immediately after.
The taste is round and aromatic, with a concentrated sweet umami of rice, and a gradually stimulating acidity and astringency. It is a refined taste that also has a brilliant and sharp taste that flows smoothly ✨.
Aroma like white peach that comes through discreetly. It is both lustrous and pure. A gem that goes well on its own or with a meal 😋.
With this Daiginjo-genshu, the Akagisan series is complete as far as I can get my hands on it! 🙌
From centrifugation to honjozo, it has been a truly enjoyable journey: ⛰️
Happy New Year, stst 🎍!
And congratulations on your virtually complete Akagisan㊗️🎊🎉!
The ultimate form of guessing 🍶I want to learn from you ☺️
I look forward to working with you in the new year 🐴.
Happy New Year to you again, stst-san 🎍!

I'm looking forward to another year of your wonderful posts while working on my drinking activities, ma-ki...! Best wishes for the new year ✨
Happy New Year, stst 🌅 and I look forward to working with you again this year: 🙇🏻🙇🏻♀️
Akagi-san both at the end and the beginning of the year! And the series comp ㊗️ is wonderful 👍 still the journey continues 🤗
Jay & Nobby, we look forward to working with you this year✨.
Thank you very much! I'll be visiting often this year to deepen my love of Tochigi while keeping my love of Akagisan alive 🥟.
The year will not end with a "one and done", so we will end the year with the usual "one and done"!
It was chilled in ice temperature, so the taste was as refreshing as melted snow! The sweetness of the rice spreading lightly and the dryness of the "Akagisan" taste is outstanding!
A perfect way to end the year ✨!
Thank you again for your support this year. 🙂↕️
We hope you all have a happy (drunken) New Year!
Good evening Mr. stst, I wish you a very happy and drunken New Year!
I'm heading to Gunma early next year so I'll be able to enjoy some of Gunma's beautiful sake, including Akagisan, which is something I don't usually get to experience 😍.
Good evening, kab!
Gunma's sake is full of beautiful and famous sake...! It's a great way to meet local sake that you don't normally see 👐.
I look forward to reading your posts! I hope you have a very drunken New Year's ✨.
Happy New Year to you, stst?
I know - the last one is yours 😁✨✨.
The last one was also a perfect ending with a definite drink 😋!
Have a great year of drinking 🤗
Merry Christmas✨🎅.
So, Santa Claus -> Red -> Akagisan (Mt. Akagi). We have been waiting for "Shiboritate" this season as well!
When the bottle is opened and poured, it is clear and transparent with a fresh aroma of pears and green apples.
The palate is clear and light. It is light and crisp with a spiciness that is typical of Akagisan, while the roundness and full-bodied umami of junmai spreads out slightly. There is also a slight sweet acidity and fresh astringency, a perfect balance of lightness and mellowness.
Akagisan" quality is completed with a dry sharpness that goes down your throat. It is a delicious wine that can be easily matched with food ✨.
It is a particularly good combination with chicken and pizza in terms of resetting 🍗😋.
I am looking forward to this season's Akagisan series!
Merry Xmas🎄, stst!
I never thought Santa would be connected to Akagisan🤣I was so embarrassed that I almost blew it out in public😅.
I'm happy to hear that you had a drunken Akagisan first time this season with freshly squeezed sake 😊I'm happy when my sake tastes good 😄.
Merry Christmas✨, Aladdin!
I'm so drunk that I'm asking Santa for a gift of Akagisan 😙.
I really can only be thankful for the existence of guess sake (and Akagisan)...!
