Gunma
Junmai Ginjo
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol 15
Rice: 100% Gohyakumangoku
A robust dry Junmai.
It has sweetness, but the dryness is strong.
It has a strong alcoholic feeling in the throat and seems to get drunk quickly.
Akagisan Special Honjozo
60% 15-16% 720ml 1200yen
Strong impression. It is very drinkable, but the alcohol taste is quite pronounced. The quality of the sake is simple and slightly dry, but there is also a sweetness to the rice.
It is perfect for both lukewarm and hot sake.
A sake to be enjoyed with others over a hot pot.
The price of 1,200 yen for 720ml is also attractive. It is a better sake than it looks on the label.

I decided to drink this the day I was born ✨
This is a limited brewery release type of Akagisan that I bought in Gunma, Japan!
It is one of the best in the series, second only to the centrifugal pure Dai. I will savor it to my heart's content!
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was clear and transparent with a gorgeous apple-like aroma.
The palate is clean and innocent, with a transparency like being on an ice stage. Later on, a mild and full flavor emerges with a melon-like glossy taste.
The elegant flavor of Yamada-Nishiki can be felt in abundance, and in the latter half, the dry sharpness and mild acidity typical of "Akagisan" bring it all together to create a well-rounded taste!
The clean, elegant "Akagisan" character and the tender flavor of Yamada Nishiki. It is truly superb ✨.
Every year when I celebrate my birthday, I feel like it's the end of the year and the beginning of the New Year.
Next year, I would like to drink the special Daiginjo, complete the Akagisan year-round lineup, and visit Kochi Prefecture, which I have not yet explored, to complete my 47-prefecture tour...!
Good evening, stst.
Happy Birthday 🎉.
I guess it's a year-end and New Year's tradition to celebrate with the most drunk Akagisan 🎵.
I can't seem to find any sake from Gunma Prefecture, but I'd like to try Akagisan someday 😊.
Happy birthday, stst 🎂㊗️
I'm sure it's sinking into your mind and body to celebrate with the special Akagisan that you have set your heart on. ☺️
Have a drunken night with Mt. Akagi to your heart's content 🍶😊.
Thank you, ma-ki-!
As you said, it is an indispensable spring, summer, fall, and winter tradition for both birthdays and New Year's ✨.
We have a wide selection of beautiful sake besides Akagisan, so if you see any Gunma sake, please give it a try!
Thank you, Aladdin!
I would not be where I am today if I had not met the Akagisan brand, so many things are just sinking in 😌.
Thank you for your continued support!
Good evening, stst! 🙋
Happy Birthday to you and yours! 🎉🎉🎉
I guess it's Mt. Akagi on your anniversary, isn't it!
Good luck in conquering the 47 prefectures! 👍👍
Thank you, KAB!
Even the part about not being available outside of Gunma.
We are just grateful for the miracle of meeting you in your travels ✨.
We look forward to working with you in the future!
Thank you, Mr. Kumagai!
Whenever I have something to do, it's Mt. Akagi, so I can no longer say that you are my partner 😌.
I look forward to working with you in the future!
Thank you, Pon!
Your kind words are much appreciated ✨
I also recommend Jun Dai Yamadanishiki, which is not a pure sake. I also recommend you to buy the more affordable type of sake, Jun Dai Yamadanishiki, at Takasaki station and other places 👐.
A cup of sake in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture (^^)
Akagisan Activated Nigori Sake🍶 which is only available this time of year.
It was a gift from President Kondo of Kondo Sake Brewery 🙇♀️
Thank you, President Kondo!
We were so grateful that the president himself served us 🤩.
Hello, Mamo 😃
Oh! Are you transferring from Tochigi ‼️ we have nothing to do with you 😅Please do 😊.
Tochigi sake 🍶 information ℹ️ Please stock up a lot!
Jay & Nobby.
Thank you for your message... I knew that Tochigi prefecture has a lot of great sake, but I don't have many chances to drink it, so I will try it. ❣️
By the way, the person from Tochigi who was assigned to us was not good at sake.
Very freshly squeezed sake✨.
Fresh, rummy, and the overused term "adult soft drink".
It's so isotonic that you'd never guess it's isotonic ❔.
And the flavor that overflows gradually 🌾.
The cool, clear taste reminded me of the morning air in the swamps of Akagi Mountain when I was a student 🍃.
And looking at the label,
Kurohinoki in the middle... I climbed it... ⛰️...
I could drink it really pleasantly while recalling such things 😌.
This refreshing feeling is like a summer sake, but good this time of year too👍.
And it's a great value for money 🏆.
[Memorandum] Drinking outside
Forgot to take a picture of the label. It was quite refreshing and different from what I imagined, but it matched well with sashimi.
Along with Nagoshi-shu, the last of the Autumn Sake, "Akagisan", is a limited-edition, unpasteurized sake!
This is a matured nama-zake that has spent one summer in bottle storage. It has a completely different worldview from hiyaoroshi, and even the breadth of maturity can be felt in this bottle👍.
When opened and poured, it has a rich sweet and sour aroma like lactic acid beverages, brown sugar, and apple yogurt.
The mouthfeel is clean and round. It has a full-bodied sweet and astringent flavor of rice. Yet, it has a crisp acidity & a cool, refreshing sake quality. The taste is reminiscent of apple or pear yogurt!
A pleasant balance of richness and sharpness in a clean, clear taste. It's a delicious taste that goes down well and can be sipped slowly or gulped down ✨.
It tastes like a solid sake version of the much talked about Argo, which is also a low-alcohol junmai!
Maybe I should buy another bottle of Argo to age 🤔...
When I dropped by Takasaki Station for the first time in a while, I noticed that the blue label (ginjo) had been added to the lineup without my knowledge.
After red (junmai), green (junmai ginjo), and blue, pink (daiginjo) and yellow (junmai daiginjo) must be next.
I drank the first sip at an izakaya.
It is mild on the palate and has a hiyaoroshi feeling.
Akagisan has an image of being dry because we drink only active nigori-style sake, but this one is sweet and tasty.
This is a sparkling type wine that has been sitting for a year.
We will open the bottle to organize the stock...!
When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is like sugar candy or brown sugar.
The mouthfeel is still gaseous and shiny, but the sweetness has become richer, probably because it has been aged for a year. It has a rich sweetness similar to that of a noble sake like Wasanbon or Bekko candy, and a lingering astringent taste with the purity of Akagisan and the freshness of carbon dioxide gas.
This is like a candy and a whip, and it is habitually delicious!
An unexpected combination of richness and crispness.
It is also interesting that it is an aged sparkling wine 👐.
Akagisan→Akagisan, so we will enjoy the standard type of Akagisan🍶!
Akagisan trio!
After the gentle atmosphere of Maikaze and the matured feel of Hiyayogoshi, Akagisan has a cool, crisp, dry taste that stands out.
This is Akagisan! Simple is Best ✨.
I bought two bottles of Maikaze in the spring and they have been sitting for almost half a year.
The winter lineup will be coming in soon, so I'm going to open the bottle now 👍.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was like pears and muscats. I think it has more fruitiness than the one I drank in the spring!
The mouthfeel is clear and clean, as is typical of Akagisan. Immediately after, a soft and juicy flavor spreads gradually with grape and apple-like flavors.
At the same time, it also has an established austere taste and a lingering aftertaste like powdered green tea.
The gentle and sweet flavor of "Maikaze" is still present. It has lost some of its youthfulness, perhaps because it has been laid down to rest, but it is a delicious taste that allows you to feel the beginning and end of a story!
A collaboration of autumn and spring 🌸🍁.
I am looking forward to the freshly squeezed one in winter...!
