I wished for it at the end of last year and luckily Santa brought me a bottle of Imi. I have wanted to drink this sake for many years but could not get it. It is slightly thickened, sweet and very tasty. Thank you Santa!

The first sake of the new year is a bottle of Ni-Rabbit zodiac. The one we bought at the brewery had a sticker on the label, but the one we bought at a nearby liquor store had the label printed directly on the bottle. It was delicious with sukiyaki. At the end of last year, I drank a light nigori draft from a zodiac bottle, but both were delicious and I couldn't tell the difference. I hope to drink a lot of good sake this year as well. 2,090 yen

This year's New Year's Eve is the last day of the year at Sanzu. We had it with yellowtail shabu-shabu. It's hard to find Sansho these days, but it's my favorite sake, so it was a great way to end the year 2024. 2140 yen

We got a rare sake from Kagawa Prefecture in our district. It is a souvenir of Hiroshima from my daughters. It is a dry sake. The alcohol content is between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius, acidity is 1.7, sake degree is +10, and amino acidity is 1.3.

Yesterday I went to the Winter Festival at Chohyo. 9:00 a.m. I arrived at the festival, but when I got there there was a long line and I had to wait about an hour in the cold before I could buy the sake. I was able to get a bottle of the twelve Chinese zodiac signs, a bottle of light nigori (nigori) and a bottle of nama-zake (unpasteurized sake) this year as well. I was also able to get the famous Okazaki confectionery, Tefuukoto. It was worth the wait and the sake was delicious. I would like to drink the Nama Sake in the New Year. 2,090 yen.
