As expected, liquor stores were closed on New Year's Day. So I went to Famima and bought this one. Urakasumi is a stable beer, and not only is it perfectly fine, but it is very tasty.
My favorite North Alps is Daishinshu, and this time I tried the "raw" version. It is indeed dry, but I also feel sweetness, and the aftertaste is still very sharp. It is an unfiltered sake, so I feel it is a bit strong. Now, I'm getting into the New Year's mode.
At a sake shop that carries a wide variety of sake, I couldn't help but pick up what appeared to be the last bottle. The beautiful label looked familiar. Looking back on our application, we had had this sake before. The sake is a bit strong, but it has a good balance between a good amount of gas, dryness, and umami. I would like to try other sake from Shimane.
Gunma, a new sake, 16%, has not been available for a long time. I was attracted by the nada-shoulder bottle and bought it. It's a little sweet for me, but it's so refreshing that I can drink it in a gulp.
100% Hitogochi from Nagano Prefecture, Suwano-No-Ippon! I bought a series of sake from Shinshu. Whenever I buy a sweet sake, I always end up buying a dry sake as well and combining them before I run out. It was a happy evening drinking together with the Shinshu specialty Nozawana.
I entered the liquor store five minutes before closing and managed to buy some!
The rice is Hitogokochi from Ina Valley in Shinshu. I like dry sake, but today's mood is mellow and gorgeous, so I decided on a daiginjo. I just fell in love with my favorite owl at first sight.
Slightly gassy, melon-like aroma and sweetness. It was served well chilled. Not major, but very satisfying!
It is sharp and hot in a hot sake. It's very spicy. I had it with fried ankimo. As a person with high gamma and bad cholera, I think it's a combination I shouldn't try. But it's a good thing because it tastes good together.
Warmed to lukewarm. Slightly sweet, but refreshing, with a nice aroma. We had it with stewed fish, yagara and sea bream sashimi. It was a bit extravagant for lunch.
Hello, misidentified daughter!
Oh, it looks like it would go well with heated sake too 🤤.
The subtle sweetness that I felt even in cold sake is still there in heated sake as well 😋.
A sumptuous lunch to recharge your batteries 😁✨✨.
This is the only sake check-in today, as I have been drinking kanehachi (barley shochu) for a while now. Even though it is cheap, the aroma of this barrel is soothing.
