A review I've been sabotaging during GW. GW went to my parents' house. Every year GW is the first game of the alumni baseball tournament, no choice. The next day is that first game and I open this sake. Tenbi, which my mother asked me to buy for her. It seems to be hard to find locally. Amami doesn't feel the scarcest when she goes to Mochizuki, but she reaffirms how blessed she is to have it. This time it was a bottle. After all, my sister and her husband came back home this time, so there were many drinkers. Eleven people, including four children, were crammed into a house where three people normally live. Half of them were drinking standing up. The bottle is opened. The first day is hard. The impression is that it is beautifully dry with a moderate sweetness. I thought it might be like this because it was fired. On the second day, it was gorgeous. I wonder if it changes like this. I drank it so smoothly that I went home to my parents' house to reverse my drinking. I was sure to be hungover for the next day's game.

I skipped the GW alcohol review. I have been skipping them since the beginning of GW. If anything, I also skipped work. Ten consecutive holidays are more than enough time to degrade a person's brain. I forced my brain, which had not yet returned to its original form, to start up and write a review. Perhaps this debauchery is irreversible. I've always been curious about Hiran. The liquor store in my neighborhood is one of the few stores that carry it. It seems it's very popular and they don't carry it very often. It was the first day of GW. The sake in the fridge was to take back to my parents' house, and I had no sake to drink today. So I went shopping. Actually, I wanted to buy Aishu Cream. I was aiming for it because I was aware that "Hiran" is a popular sweet and gorgeous type of sake. But what I found on the shelf was a super dry sake. No, indeed. I knew it was on sale. The label also says that it is the first dry sake, so I probably can't say I've ever had a bottle of Tobiran before. I was worried about it for a while, and finally bought it. Opened the bottle. It's delicious. It's a dry sake that doesn't have a strong taste. If you like dry sake, you will not be able to resist it. It goes well with sashimi. The weak sweetness that was hidden was a glimpse of regular. Next time, I'll definitely buy a bottle of Hiran's staple.

Third round of vaccines. Leaves home in the morning. I take a train past 9:00 a.m. even though it is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. in Shibuya. I arrived at Shinjuku just before 10:00. Okay, I'll have a morning noodle soup. Let's go to the morning noodle soup. So I went to Horinouchi, a mainstream restaurant of the Manghori type. The soy sauce was clean and the noodles were smooth. A good amount of noodles and a big piece of chashu (pork). A great breakfast. We went to the second restaurant after having a vaccine. I had always wanted to go to Nishidai Jiro. As expected, I ordered a small portion. Slightly emulsified Delo noodles with pork and crispy vegetables. It's a god. Next time, I'll eat a little pork when I'm hungry. On the way home, I bought a bottle of Senkou cider at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Nihonbashi. It is not sake, but please forgive me. It has a dry acidity and fizziness. Not at all sweet. It's refreshing and a little too close to the original. If you expect apple juice, you will be disappointed.

I had a bit of a nervous breakdown at a wedding greeting for a friend. I attended as a friend of the groom's side, but a friend of the groom's side, whom I didn't know, was greeting the guests. I can understand the feeling of celebration, but the main actor is the bride and groom. Please don't be conspicuous. Don't try to leave your mark. At least think about the manuscript. Don't try to do something on the spur of the moment. At least learn a few words. Write a letter like the bride's friend. So, the after-party of the wedding. I didn't catch up with Kouei Chrysanthemum this year. Anastasia Green was recommended to me so much at the liquor store, but I never got around to it. It has an impactful grapefruitiness. Fruity, dry, spicy and citrusy bitterness. Delicious as expected.

I love attending weddings. Fortunately, I have yet to hit an unhappy wedding, and everyone seems happy. Not that the congratulatory money doesn't hurt, but I'm willing to pay 30,000 or so if I can drink in the happiness of my friends to the extent that they invite me to their weddings. However, the first wedding rush came when I was 25-6, and I went to 12 weddings in 6 months. I once attended a family wedding and reception at a wedding hall in Maihama during the day and then attended a friend's reception in Minato Mirai at night. I had fresh flowers wrapped at my family's ceremony and gave a bouquet of flowers as an apology for being late to my friend's reception. Now that I think about it, that sucks. In the end, I paid over 400,000 congratulatory gifts in six months. My own wedding was a modest affair with only my family members, so the recovery rate was almost zero. The celebration before the wedding party was Shinshu Kamerei. I heard that there are not many wholesalers for Kinmon-nishiki. I heard that the liquor store I go to has tanks of it. The bottle was opened. It has a chili-like flavor. It is fresh and fruity. The distinctive bitterness, like citrus peel, is a nice accent. Is this bitterness characteristic of Kinmon-Nishiki? It is delicious as it is quintessential. You can buy it with peace of mind.

I'm kind of busy. I'm not working much overtime. I can almost always go home on time, but for some reason I am busy. It's not that I'm working with a high level of efficiency, but I work from morning till night with almost no breaks, and before I know it, it's 5:30 pm. It's strange. It shouldn't be like this. I was more of a delinquent employee, the type of bum who spends more time slacking off than working during the day, and only gets serious after-hours. What's wrong with me? I do housework and childcare at home, almost always in motion. When I'm done, I'm active in my hobbies. What's really wrong with me? I feel like I'm in a hurry to live. Let's have a drink and calm down. It helps that there is not that much variety of Tenbi to chase after. Even so, Momoten was so popular that I couldn't buy it when the first shipment was made. We secured it for the March shipment. Opened the bottle. Slightly gassy. Soft and soft sweetness like a haze. Mild weak acidity without corners. The lees is sweet and thick. To be honest, it tastes like something I've had somewhere before, but it's very good. A sigh of relief.

Akinori Sasaki is a monster. What is he doing now? When he lost without pitching in the final of the Iwate Prefectural Tournament, I wrote a post titled "High School Ballplayers Need the Right Place to Die. For Ofunato High School players other than Akinori Sasaki, the "answer" to their high school baseball should have been to go all out against Hanamaki-Higashi, win or lose, and the result that was supposed to come out of it. And I still believe that. The coach at that time must have been troubled by being entrusted with a jewel that he could not hold himself. The jewel was polished carefully so that it would not break, and was sent off to the world of professional baseball. Today, one answer to the discussion of those days has been found. I would like to give a round of applause to the manager of Ofunato High School. I don't think today's result would have been possible without his anguish. The high school baseball game of Akinori Sasaki's teammates, which ended without seeing the "answer," must have come to its final resting place today. Opening the bottle. Spring-like sweet and sour taste. Mimuro cedar's familiar cider taste. This is what we were looking for. The best solution for Hanami sake. When the lees are mixed in, the sweetness is very lively. Even sweeter on the second day. Still gassy. Outstandingly delicious. The Akira Sasaki of the sake world! Is that an exaggeration?

The night of the ramen tour. After eating a tonkatsu (pork cutlet), our stomachs were at their limit. My wife opened the bottle of egg wine we had bought earlier. If I were a normal person in such a situation, I would definitely take a drink from her. I feign composure and take a sip, pushing my stomach to the breaking point. Custard creamy. Sweetness is gentle but firm. A rather firm liquor taste. This is delicious. It's good chilled, but definitely good warmed up.

Ramen tour midway break. Buy sake at Koyama Shoten and drink in the park. The second bottle was bought by my companion. It was a bottle of Bikuyo's cel-24. He is a man who has been a fan of cel-24 ever since he got hooked on sake from Kameizumi's cel-24. It's spring, it's outdoors, and it's refreshing on the rocks. Since it was sold at room temperature, it was a little too strong, with the pineapple-like ripeness of cel-24, but on the rocks, it became easier to drink and was nice. It is easy to drink on the rocks. It was so easy to drink that I drank it, but in just one hour, I had already consumed a little less than 7 gou of sake. The second ramen shop I wanted to visit was Menya Rokkusei. The second ramen shop I wanted to go to was Menya Rokubusei, but it was a day when they were not open for lunch, so I had no choice but to go to Machida. I had had too much to drink, so I went to Shiruba Evolution, where I could enjoy my ramen without hesitation. The green pepper salt ramen was delicious. It is like a very hot peperoncino. After eating and drinking, I go home without a care in the world, as if I were on my way home from work. I always eat dinner at home. I eat as usual so as not to be recognized. Filet cutlet. Naturally, I even have a second helping. I'm at my limit. My weight has increased by 3kg.

I pretend to go to work and take a weekday off without telling my wife. I go down to an unfamiliar city, buy a hot coffee at a convenience store with an old-fashioned, clean but somehow smelly bathroom in front of the station, and drink it on a bench in the park next door. Even though the old man, who is abnormally enthusiastic about cleanup activities, tells me to take my garbage home even before I finish my drink, I'm the strongest because I'm on vacation today. A regular ramen tour is held. The theme of this year's tour is "Ramen Jiro Hachioji Noaru Kaido Branch 2, where I trained. We went to Hirai in Kita-fuchu. Tsukemen genre tops the list. It is definitely the best when it comes to tsukemen (dipping noodles in animal soup). After that, we made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land as we had time to spare before the next restaurant. I bought a bottle of sake and went to a nearby park for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). Fukuda first. 500ml drinkable size. It has a softly swelling koji-like sweetness and a good contrasting finish. It has a short aftertaste with a good gasiness and bitterness. It is delicious and can be drunk easily.

How do you feel? I feel lousy. I knew it was going to rain yesterday, but my wife never woke up in the morning. Normally I take the kids to daycare by bike, but on rainy days my wife has to take the car she uses to get to work. My wife has to get ready earlier than usual, but she never wakes up. He wakes up at 7:00 and is in a hurry. I told you yesterday that rain was in the forecast. My second son is also grumpy in the morning, eating only the cream of the cream bun first, crying that the cream is gone because of his dad, and throwing the bun. He also took off all the clothes I had him change into and stripped naked. Now, just live with it. I call the office to let them know I'll be an hour late. My wife is putting on makeup. I put on my rain gear and put on a kappa on my bicycle, ready to go. Are you okay with the rain?" I'm not okay." Open the bottle. Sweet. Good pineapple aroma. The sweet and acidic aroma is refreshing and easy to drink. The second half is crisp with a light bitterness. When the lees are mixed, the overall flavor increases in volume. It is full of umami and has a good sharpness. It is easy to drink and satisfying. Very tasty. Highly recommended. I was writing this when I took the Enoshima line by mistake and came to Shonandai. It's the worst except for the sake. I want to go home.

3/21 is school bag day. It seems to be because 3+2+1 is the reason to be a 6th grader. What's that? My oldest son will be a senior next year, and he is currently in the middle of his run. What is "run activity"? It's a term that is overused these days because it makes you feel like you're doing your best. On March 21, I went to Minato Mirai and visited three school bag stores. However, school bags are almost all just for the self-satisfaction of the parents. Especially for boys. From a child's point of view, it is not a particularly interesting event to be taken around to try on and be made to carry a similar bag that he or she has no interest in. Also, school bags are sold from the most expensive ones. I guess it depends on the number, but at an exhibition I went to yesterday, all the expensive ones were sold out. The most expensive ones were priced at 300,000 yen. I'm sorry to say this, but that thing will be thrown on the asphalt by the end of next year. So much for poison. Open the bottle. Silky smooth on the tongue. Sweetness is smooth and elegant. Thickness in flavor when mixed with lees. Rich sweetness. Laughing Four Seasons was impressive in smoothness when I drank it before. Combined with the label, it has a unique feel. Next time, I would like to try the one with the peculiar title.

Spring is here. Hay fever. Every year I grudgingly think that spring would be the best season if only I didn't have hay fever. I am sorry to say that my son also has hay fever since last year and it seems to be a life long affair. Last week was especially sunny and the pollen was enjoying the spring of this world, so I had a full course of headache, slight fever, runny nose, and itchy eyes. I managed to get through the day with a full course of headache, slight fever, runny nose, and itchy eyes, but I'm still alive and doing well. I've always been curious about Koshi. I think Kouko is famous for Apple, but I tried this one, which was very popular at my favorite liquor store. Opened the bottle. Very slightly carbonated. Sweet and gorgeous, but with a youthful blueness. Blue bitterness. After a day, the bitterness settles down and the sweetness and brightness come to the fore. It has a very sweet, orange-like citrus and floral aroma. It is very spring-like. The taste is as good as its reputation and expectations. It was a big hit for me.

I used to live in downtown Sendai, so I don't remember having much trouble even though I was a victim of the disaster, but I would like to stop wandering around the downtown area looking for food. I don't want to wait in line for 3 hours at Seiyu anymore. I am really grateful to the Ramen shop that provided free food at that time. On 3/11, I drank sake from Fukushima. Ippoumi is a brand born 11 years ago in the winter. Opened the bottle. It is young. Lightly green. No gassiness. The sweetness is moderate. The acidity is also moderate. Spicy. Rough but refreshing bitterness. You can enjoy it very much. It is a good sake that is delicious and energized by the sake's youthfulness.

First pilgrimage to the Holy Land in a long time. It was my birthday last week and I was entitled to go anywhere I wanted. We went strawberry picking, bought some fish at Kakunoue in Hino, and ended up doing family service. Finally, I asked him if I could go to a holy place, and he said yes. With a little leap of faith, I headed there. I was dizzy. What a treasure trove of sake here. It's the Shosoin of sake. To be honest, I didn't know much about the place of origin, but there was a note for one bottle per person, so I'm sure it must be delicious. Opened the bottle. Poppong and vigor. It brings back memories of when I opened a bottle of Hana-no-Kou (flowery fragrance) before, but this one is safe. The aroma is mild. Impressive acidity and sweetness. It is quite rough. There is a little bit of gas to hold the flavor together. There is almost no alcohol. On the second day, the taste is more coherent. The acidity is no longer sharp and the balance is good. I didn't notice it, but the last part of the wine is a bit of a corkscrew. A little milky and roundness is added. I think I like this one the best. It's interesting that it's like a three-step evolution. It is really delicious. The kids had a blast at the candy corner of the sanctuary, so it was a win-win.

I'm going to make a paper airplane with my dream written on the back of the test and throw it into the sky. This is seriously the only song I know from 19. I love it, it's so emo. I was a serious student, so I never made paper airplanes for tests. I had to review the questions I got wrong. I bought it on 2/23. What a shame. I bought a bottle of cat wine. It would have been nice if I could have bought it on Feb. 22. The name of the sake means "wild cat. The "6" on the tail means "No. 6 yeast. Opening the bottle. The aroma is subdued. The attack is sweet and refreshing, but the bitterness and astringency appear quickly, giving a strong impression of that. The retraction is quick and unassuming. I see, it's a nora-neko. After a couple of days, the taste swells a little. The sweetness expands. I see. I've become a house cat. The jars are cute, so I want to buy some more. I think I'll display the empty bottles.

Having a day off in the middle of the week bugs my rhythm. Every day is either the day after or the day before a holiday, so I can work with a lot of energy, but I don't know what day it is anymore. I went to Chinatown on the Emperor's birthday. Thinking about it, I probably should have chosen a place that was more Japanese. But the steamed buns at Edo Qing were delicious, the xiao-long bao at Wangfujing were delicious, and the Taiwanese fried chicken that is now sold everywhere looked and tasted great. I also enjoyed eating strawberry candy in the park while waiting with my kids while my wife was absorbed in solving a puzzle at Yokohama Daisekai. I also bought some alcohol at a liquor store in Chinatown, but I'll tell you about that later. The opening of the bottle was easy. It has a light chili taste, soft sweet acidity, and a light bitterness on the back end. It was crisp and light. I didn't feel the heaviness of the alcohol at all. It is very light. It's really delicious. I bought it without a second thought, but I hit the jackpot.

I love Eva. When I was in college, I saw the new movie version and got hooked. I've dredged up the TV version, the old one, and the manga version. It's been more than 10 years since then. I think Shin Evangelion was the final episode of all of them. There were many parts that I didn't understand, but it was a good ending that I felt comfortable with. When I saw "Ou", Shinji was really cool, and the relationships of the people around him were redeeming. There was a straightforward humanity and heroism that broke through the depressing atmosphere that had been present throughout the entire film. I think that Shin Takachiyo [Breaking] is also a sake that aims to break the status quo. Opening the bottle. Acid. The acidity is like apple cider vinegar. The sweetness is also rich and mellow. The taste is a little different from fruity. Ripe plums? It's certainly different from Takachiyo. It's beautiful, but it's also rough. I don't love this kind of sake, but I'm sure it's possible. The "oha" in the introduction is the modulation of the story. I think this was a challenging sake that took the flow of Takachiyo and tried to modulate it.

Brilliantly, the kid gave me a Corona. Fortunately, the symptoms were not serious. The only thing I had to do was to stop drinking at home. The ban on alcohol was lifted on February 7, but I'm still not feeling well and it doesn't taste good when I drink. I feel like my nose doesn't work well and a small amount gives me a headache. Instead of sake, I've been rehabilitating with beer and lemon sour. As my body gradually came back to normal, I opened a bottle here. The bottle pops open. I was relieved that it didn't spurt out. It's bubbling. I didn't mix the lees first. The mouthfeel is thick and the taste is refreshingly sweet. Just like the impression on the bottle. When the lees are mixed in, it swings rather dry. The bitterness is good. Delicious and instant. Every time I take a sip, I feel my sense of smell returning. I knew it was the sake that I was missing. Sake is the best of all medicines.
