Manjusen Tokusen Daiginjo Nama Sake 4290yen
The second half of GW❗️ will be crowded with my son's friends tonight for sake 😳To let them know how good sake tastes, let's taste some good sake first😊.
I opened a bottle of this one first. The aroma is sweet and alcoholic. The initial attack has a firm sweetness and a bitter pungency, with a long lingering bitter aftertaste that really makes you think you are drinking sake 🍶.
The lingering aftertaste lasts forever, so I just enjoy it with a pinch of sake 😋.
This is the first time I've had a few kijoshu.
I'm getting a kick out of the aroma (lol).
It is incredibly sweet.
It is not sangen sugar. And it is not caye white sugar either.
However, it has a sweet aroma like melted sugar.
When you put it in your mouth, it is still sweet. It is thick.
It is said that matured sake goes well with mapo tofu and broiled eel. Well, that may be true.
I would like to try it someday.
This one drink has strengthened my resolve!
Manjusen Nama Junmai Ginjo Omachi LIMITED EDITION
It's a raw junmai ginjo from Toyama, Japan.
It is a sake that has all the requirements of a good sake.
The aroma in the mouth and on the nose is both raw and ginjo!
The acidity and the sweetness are equally good and well balanced!
The sharpness of the finish is also good. ...... is also an excellent grade!
There is no room for any points to be deducted from the taste.
This is a good sake!
Home from business trip today
Canceled my plans at home too.
I have no choice but to take a drinking train! So, we started the drinking train in the morning!
Surprisingly, the morning express train was too crowded with long coats.
We started drinking on the return train.
It's a refreshing drink!
The onigiri I bought at the station was wrapped in kombu (kelp) instead of nori (seaweed).
It goes perfectly with sake!
I wonder how many more check-ins I can do today!
Hello Nobu Nobu-san 🐦!
As expected of Toyama, you wrap your rice balls in Tororo kelp, don't you? Tororo kelp and sake looks delicious ❣️
I see there are some expresses that don't have cross seats 😳
Just a few of the drinks from last week's trip to Toyama that I have not posted here....
L'evo, tucked away deep in the mountains of Toga Village, was the only sake that came up for pairing 🍶.
A sake with a touch of nigori. The alcohol content was a whopping 19 degrees! But I don't think I felt that much alcohol. Nigori is easy to drink.
