Precious sake I got on a trip to Yamaguchi 😁. It is one of the two bottles I went to the Omine Sake Brewery and purchased. The first time I drank 3 grains, I knew I had to go to the brewery 🤣. It has a cafe and it's really stylish ❗️ Lots of women were there, tea? Sake? I was so happy to see them. I had seen your post about summer otsure, so I had some idea of what to expect, but it is a very easy to drink drink sake👍. Sweet aroma and mouthfeel just like the aroma. It somehow reminded me of cider. The alcohol content is low, so you can gobble it up 🤣. Personally, I would prefer it a little stronger 😊 but it is a delicious drink and to my liking.

Good morning, Robin 😀 Did you go from Iwakuni to Shuho ❓🤣. You must have traveled quite far 😀😀 My theory is that sake bought at the brewery tastes better because it has more feeling 😇. I hope it was delicious 😀

Good evening, Yasbay! I'm so glad to see you here 😀 😀 I stayed in Hofu on the way from Iwakuni, but I went via Shimonoseki, which is a long way 💦It's normal to go to the brewery these days 🤣The hard work makes it taste so much better 😁.

There was a Taisho no Tsuru drink comparison, so I grabbed an order 💦. In addition, this will be my first Taisho no Tsuru 😊. The pink is Omachi, the black is Asahi, and the orange is the difference between the Omachi and Asahi rice used. Masu is pink! It's not too much like Oumachi ‼️, it's very dry and sake-like, which is a classification I'm not good at, and one that people who are strong in sake prefer 😁. Next is Kuro, Asahi, which is also spicy, but in a refreshing way. I could still go for this one. Finally, orange, which is a win for omachi no matter how you look at it 🤣. But it also has Asahi in it, so I guess it's easier to drink than pink 🙄. If you like Oumachi, I think this is a great sake for you👍.

Good evening, Robin. Taisho's Crane Rising drink comparison! I'm so jealous 🤩I drank the pink last year and it's aged well and has a delicious bitter chocolate taste. I've never had orange and black, so I'd like to compare them!

Hi Hirupeko, good evening! I drank Taisho's Tsuru Rising for the first time and it's a medium punch 👍I drank a lot of other drinks that day, so I got topped off with a drink comparison 🤣.

Good evening, Robin 😃. Taisho no Tsuru I drank it a while ago just as a tasting, but I had an image of it being doshiri dry 😅. I'm curious about the orange in this one 🤔.

Good morning, bouken-san! I've never had Taisho no Tsuru before, but it's dry 😁I'm impressed that you're interested in orange 👍I personally thought it was the most balanced sake 😊.

Finally, I ordered Yamamoto. It's tasty and tangy. This is also a refreshing type. It has a sweet taste with a hint of sourness. This kind of sake goes well when it gets hot👍.

It has been a long time since I have had a Hagi no Roshi, and this is the first time I have seen this label. When I drank it, I was surprised to find that it was super dry, completely different from the image I had of Hagi no Roshi until now. ❗️ I was surprised to see that Hagi no Russo is also like this. I have a feeling that this one can be heated, but since summer is almost here, there will probably be few opportunities to drink it 😁.

The second drink of the day was a Nanahoshi from Eiko Fuji, which is my favorite sake 👍. It is fruity, very easy to drink, a little sweet, but the acidity gives it a refreshing taste that you can drink forever 🤣. It was the best hit of the day.

Since it was Friday, we said we would go for a walk around Sannomiya area and went to Rui's as usual 😁. We started with a freshly opened Aozora. It was light and cloudy, which I liked! It has a refreshing taste like a summer sake, and the acidity and sweetness are in harmony with each other.

As work settled down, I went on a sake trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture 😁. First among the various purchases, I checked in with a Junmai Namaishu from Gobashi. The drink seems smooth and easy to drink when chilled, but it has a lot of flavor. The sweetness makes it easy to drink and the acidity makes it refreshing. It is only available in four-pack bottles during this season 😊.

Hi Robin 😀 It would be nice if there was a concentration of sake breweries like in Nada and Fushimi, but in Yamaguchi prefecture they are scattered all over the place, so the only place I can visit at once is Iwakuni 🤣. The rest is probably around Hagi 😀. I would love to visit some of the breweries in my hometown in Yamaguchi prefecture someday 😇.

Hi Yasubey! I can't visit Yamaguchi prefecture all at once 😓This is the second time I've been to Yamaguchi and I've been to Otters before. The problem is that you need a car to get around, and I couldn't even do the tasting, I just listened to the explanation and decided to buy based on my feeling 😁.

I ordered a Junmai sake from Kurogyu. It was an oddly cold day after the rain, so I asked for it hot 👍. When I first tried this sake, I drank it cold, but it was dry and I wanted a little more sweetness, but when I saw that they stock it in cups during the winter, I ordered it hot and have been hooked ever since: ❗️ When I see this sake, I heat it up. I warm it up in the microwave for a minute or so and it tastes better because it has more alcohol and a sweeter, mellower taste 😃. It was cold that day so I ordered 2 glasses of sake 😁. Sorry for the picture, I drank it all 🙏.

We got some Yuki no Bijin 😁. Luckily, I chose an unopened bottle, so I'm looking forward to the freshness 👍. I poured it into a glass and looked at it first. It has a kind of blue glow, like the Northern Lights. Or rather, it's not completely transparent, but it's kind of beautiful. ❗️ The mouthfeel is clean, the acidity is a little bit strong, and there is a bitter taste. Overall, it is a well-balanced, easy-drinking sake, and has a summery feel to it. For a sake made with Aizan I didn't expect it to have much sweetness😊.

It's been a while since I drank a Houou Mita! Gasp! It's not what I expected. It was fruity with a sour taste, and later I felt a strong alcohol taste. I thought this was it, and when I checked it, I found that it was made with wine yeast, and the word "WINE" was written on the bottle: ❗️ That's why I thought it was like wine at first! But later on I could also feel the sake taste and I thought it was in good condition. I wonder if this also has a gaseous taste when opened? I'd like to try it freshly opened 😁. If it's gassy, it's champagne 🤣.

I received Koshi's Thunderbolt! A label that makes you want to buy it just to see it, austere design I prefer👍. The taste is smooth, easy to drink, and has a sweetness that is pleasant on the palate. I wonder if it has been open for quite a while. I didn't feel any gas, but it was a delicious sake with a good balance of sourness and sweetness. This is the unfortunate part of drinking outside 😭 I'd like to drink it freshly opened at least once. I'm sure the image will change once the gassy feeling comes in 😃.

Lastly, I've always been curious about Morinokura's Tide: ❗️ I had it cold. I could feel the aroma of koji and the flavor of rice. This sake is good with hot sake. Hirupeko ordered it hot, which is correct 👍. We had quite a lot of sake, so we finished off the meal with octopus rice and sake lees soup. 🤣 I don't often go out on Saturday night, but there were a lot of people around Sannomiya. Good, good 😊.

The third drink was Tadashi. I drank this before, so I omit my impression. The aroma of koji is good! By the way, I'm feeling pretty good after drinking this much 🤣. The 4th drink is Artisan by Yamashiroya! Check in here: ❗️ It has a nice acidity, but also a touch of sweetness. Looking at the label, I found a mention of orikarami! However, it was almost transparent in the glass 🤣. I wish there was more orizumi involved! The fifth glass was Mimuro Cedar! I've had this one before, so I'll skip my thoughts on it! I think I've had it before, but I've forgotten what it tastes like💦. Anyway, it was refreshing and a little sour. It was a wine or an apple, but it was easy to drink with a good mouthfeel. I attended the monthly Mizu, Sake meeting 😃. It was actually my first time to attend and I was excited! This is the only day you can drink 6 glasses of sake and enjoy whatever you want with one plate and rice for the end 👍. I thought I'd start with the more expensive sake, but I ordered the one I've never had before first: ❗️ First up was Akabu, I've never seen this label before, it's a beautiful design. It has a refreshing taste like a summer sake, a fruity aroma, and a good balance of acidity and sweetness, making it very easy to drink! It is a hit from the very first sip 😁. I bought some Kinryo at Kobe Hankyu and went home👍. I haven't had a Kinryo in a long time and I don't remember the last one 💦. Anyway, I had it for the first time. First of all, the aroma of koji (malted rice) wafted through the air and it looked delicious 🤤 even before I drank it. The sweetness spreads at first, but later it comes on strong and tasty. The overall taste is very strong, so I could not go for a big gulp. It's a 17 degree C sake, unfiltered junmai ginjo-nama sake 😁. I could go on the rocks with ice 👍

We compared the drinks of abe 😁. VEGA It was the most refreshing! I think it's light with a good amount of acidity REGULUS The balance of sourness and sweetness is the most wine-like. It is rich, but the sourness refreshes you. Raku-fu-mai Junmai Ginjo It is cloudy and has a good amount of sweetness. I think it is my favorite out of all of them. It is still gassy and tangy. I'd like to drink it right after opening the bottle😍.

Since there were two different types of hikakami in the bottle, we decided to compare them 😁. Both are made with Watafune No. 2 and Yamadaho, the parent of Yamada-Nishiki, and I tried to see if I could tell the difference in taste 💦 even though I have no sense of taste. Watafune No.2 It seems to be the paternal side of Yamada Nishiki ❗️ It tastes sweet and easy to drink. The taste is similar to Yamadanishiki, the aroma is like muscat that comes after drinking, sweet but refreshing. I like it. 🤤 Yamadaho It seems to be the mother of Yamada Nishiki: ❗️ I thought it might be close to Yamadanishiki because of the similar name, but it is a little dry and sweet, but less than Watafune No.2, it has a good acidity and is refreshing, and the fruity aroma comes after drinking too, maybe a banana type aroma? Both of them are parents of Yamada-Nishiki, so they both have their own characteristics and are very tasty. If blended, it could be a Yamadanishiki style 🤣.
