Pear-like...ah, the green discovery of tomatoes (not my favorite). It has a light plum-like aroma. The rice flavor comes later on the back of the tongue. I don't like it because of the smell. The mouthfeel is smooth and clean, with a strong umami and sweetness. It was just right when I served it with rakkyo. I like it 3/5 stars.
