Purchased at the Oishi Sake Brewery in Kameoka, Kyoto. It's local, but very impressive. The staff was very cheerful and cheered me up 😃.

It was awarded the gold medal in the honjozo category at the 2020 International Wine Challenge.
It is like a grassy sweet potato shochu.

This summer, it's a trend in my family to eat vegetables fried without any sauce, dipped in mentsuyu & grated ginger, and chilled to soak up the flavors.
Today we had Manganji Togarashi from Kyoto, which I was curious about, and Kagura Nanban and Maitake Mushrooms from Niigata.
The sake was a classic sake, with a strong flavor and acidity.

It tastes like old-fashioned Yamahai brewing.
By itself, it has a peculiar aroma on the nose.

the umami comes out to the full surface and the miscellaneous taste disappears.
