The last sake we had at Kyoto Stand Kiyo Kiyo was "Toyoyo Junmai Dry Musou" by Mukai Shuzo, also from the Tango region. The rough and powerful label may represent the fishing scene in this area. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the umami flavor and the aroma of rice is crisp and full. Even though it is called "Dry Musou", it has a hint of sweetness, which makes it a delicious cup. It has been a long time since I have had a good drink, and the best part of drinking outside by myself is that I can drink slowly while considering what to drink and what snacks to go with it, while keeping an eye on my pocketbook. I returned home refreshed both mentally and physically. From next time, I will introduce some of the sakes I took at the beginning of the year!

1853 2024/9 Kyo no Haru Junmai Nama Nigori Sake 67% 17° 24/8 A Ine-cho, Kyoto 720 1945 The bottle was warned to be opened with caution, but there was no fizziness at all, and the lees did not move even slightly. The first thing I did was to pour the clear sake into a cup, and even there I did not feel any fizz. But the taste is quite refreshing and delicious. After the second glass, I mixed the lees with the nigoromi (nigori)... Perhaps because the lees is so thick (about a quarter of the lees in stillness), the sake was a little heavy, beyond soft. It might be exquisite if gas were involved...but I kept on drinking. I had the impression that if there was a sense of effervescence... if there was no effervescence, the clear sake would be better.... On the second day, I had the clear sake and light nigori. Since I was enjoying Ine-Manbaike at the same time, I thought it would be good if they were from the same brewery, so I combined the remaining lees with Ine-Manbaike and enjoyed it as a mellow pink sake.

It is a very good normal sake. It has a sweet and strong flavor, and it is perfect when heated. It has a moderate alcohol content, which is typical of a normal sake. It is a versatile sake that also makes it delicious! I once thought that Kichiemon Nakamura was a great sake because my brother is a Kabuki fanatic, and this sake may have the same weight. If it's a regular sake, I imagine it would be a Junmai sake, and it would be a very bad one at that! I would definitely like to try the junmai sake! Mr. Ota is in Shinjuku! Mr. Ota went to a sake bar in Shinjuku, where the sake was delicious, and to Robeliya, a very deep bar in Shinjuku's Golden Gai. A 30-minute broadcast in two bars is too short!

Today is the annual New Year's Day visit to Kawagoe Naritasan Naritasan, and then to celebrate the golden wedding of my wife's parents. Dinner. The drink menu consisted mainly of wine, but there was also sake on the menu, and Naozane was recommended as a mid-meal drink. The sake was classical and calm, but had a moderate flavor of rice and a sharpness that left a good impression. I would like to try it at home next time.

Yamatsuru is the closest sake brewery to my house, but I haven't had much of it lately. The last time I drank it I got the impression that it was peculiar and not really my cup of tea, but not this Junmai Daiginjo! Clear and fruity, good balance of flavors. It's also gorgeous😋. The price is reasonable for a Junmai Daiginjo, but I think it's worth it🧐 I can't underestimate local sake 😚

Low-polished Junmai-shu from Yamatsuru, a local sake brewery in Ikoma, Nara. The name is Choyao. It was a gift, but it looks like it will cost a fortune💧. I heard it was brewed using a method described in a wooden letter from the Nara period. I wonder if it is true. Anyway, let's try it. Wow! It is indeed as rich and sweet as I had heard! The sake level is a whopping -40❗️ But the aftertaste is refreshing. Surprisingly easy to drink and delicious 😋. It's pretty good 👍I'll have to try this one too 😙. Drinking with members of "Kansai Sake-no-wa" in "Unagidani" on a business trip to Osaka (5) [We opened the "Summer Sake Set" and Uma Uma Uma and Aladdin finished their drinks, so we decided to order the sake we liked. I forgot to take a picture of the cellar, but there were rare bottles of "Kuroryu" and "Shinmasa", and although the prices are expensive, it's great that even first-timers can drink ✨. The top 3 bottles of "Kuroryu" were "Ishitaya", "Nizaemon", and "Shizuku", which are hard to find even in the local area. My first Yamatsuru 🎉! Yamatsuru Junmai Ginjo I was attracted by the label that said "dry with a difference in taste" after a series of sweet and refreshing sakes, so I chose this one 🧐. Aroma of mellow rice, fresh, soft and smooth taste, and a gentle aftertaste. [Although it claims to be dry, it is easy to drink with a soft mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste 😁.

Good evening, another first in the series from Sugiyuu here 💁. I don't know the reason for the 🐈🐈🐈 label, but I will try it without thinking too much. It has the typical Omachi aroma of chemise and citrus with a hint of maturity. The taste is quite distinct with a sugary sweetness, a little sourness, a little spiciness, and a long lingering bitterness. It has a high alcohol content of 17%, but it is easy to drink.

Hakone Drink Comparison Set (3) On March 1, after a year-long event, I went on a trip to Hakone as a way of consolation! The local sake was served to compare with Japanese kaiseki. Is Hakone Ginjo the name of the brand? However, I am not sure because the name does not come up at all when I looked it up on Google... I haven't had a fire-brewed ginjo-shu in a long time. The ginjo aroma is pleasant. It has an elegant aroma and sharpness, and is the smoothest dry sake of them all. It is very good as a food sake for Japanese food, and goes well with white fish and vegetables. It is also good with sashimi!
