Softer the second day, but a big flavorful drink with a bit too much cotton candy sweetness for me. Has an intense bitterness on the finish as well. Not my favorite.

When I went sightseeing in the old town in Hida Takayama, I stopped by a store that was not a sake brewery but a direct sales store where I could sample sake for a fee. It is located right in the middle of the tourist area. This is the Oda Sake Brewery, the originator of Onikoroshi. Older Sake Brewery Kamiminomachi Branch You put a coin from the server and drink it. A coin is 300 yen for 36 ml. Hida Boast Onikoroshi Junmai Namaishu It is fresh but dry with a strong alcohol taste. Junmai Ginjo Hida Takayama I selected this sake by looking at the sake level, and found that it was the same as the one I drank at the Japanese Sake Festival. It had more flavor than the previous sake and was a true sake. There was a signature of Wakako Sake with "Pshu". 🖊️

Something I got from a work colleague. Thank you 😊 Unfortunately, it was completely 'old', probably due to extremely poor storage conditions (at the dealership). It had a strong sense of rice, and I could feel a glimpse of the rich dry taste, but the aftertaste was so uncomfortable that I gave up after one glass. We decided to serve it as a cooking sake from now on.

#Hamamatsu# I went back to my parents' home in Hamamatsu during Golden Week. I left Tokyo around 3pm in the afternoon. Tomei Expressway had zero traffic jam 😯 Surprised 😆. It was good to move at the time to spend in the holiday resort 🤔. Arrived at my hometown and bought gyoza (dumplings) and sake (sake) at my parents' house. Knowing that "Hana no Mai" was waiting for me. I bought this sake and went home. It was very spicy 🤯 and bitter at first. Not bad 😅

A gift of Tokyo's local sake. The aroma is old-fashioned, with a faint shark... The mouthfeel is full of the delicious flavor of rice. I opened a bottle of "Kitayuki Junmai Ginjo" from Sado Island, Niigata, which I was told about at an izakaya I often visit! It has a sweet aroma from the moment it is poured, and when you take it into your mouth, the sweet and umami flavors quickly run out, leaving you with a gentle, smooth, and clear image of the after-flavor! Whether it is the water or the brewing method, I am addicted to this clear aftertaste! With only one month left in this year, I'm getting drunk and thinking that it's time to narrow down the bottle of 2022 that I will choose 🍶.

Not a Yotsuba, but I'm opening this bottle to pray for Japan's 🇯🇵 soccer team to win tonight✨ It has a sweetness that is typical of rice, lactic yogurt and acidity, and is delicious 🐴🐴🐴🐴, but it has a high alcohol spiciness on the back end that makes it very drinkable. I had a puku puku brew the other day. I think it is similar to the junmai sake I drank the other day from Pukupuku Brewing (that one is Koshihikari) 🤗. I heated it up to lukewarm to try it out and it doubled in flavor 😋.

I was happy to receive this gift, but at the same time, I wondered if it was safe to order it online. I have to admit that I was a little concerned. After taking some commemorative photos, I was ready to try it. The aroma was fruity. When I put it in my mouth, it had a fresh, slight carbonation, a strong sourness and sweetness, and a strong bitterness at the end, making it very easy to drink. Snowy Matsushima, a gift This type of sake comes in a box with an ostentatious string tied around the neck of the bottle.
