Once a year I go to Gosho.
At the end of last year I purchased two
One bottle is this
Kaze no Mori, dewy leaf wind 807
Sourness and astringency come first.
It mellows out with cooking.
I drank it in the blink of an eye
I drank it all up in no time (sweat).
Gulp!
Our family's New Year's tradition
the first sunrise of the New Year
This year
Junmai Daiginjo with Kyo no Koto yeast
Cold is good, but
but it can also be served hot with a crisp and rich flavor.
Mmmm...
Enjoy at New Year's
On the way back from Sekijuku
The second bottle purchased at the roadside station Tsukawage
I was drinking it in small sips and forgot to take a picture of the label.
I forgot to take a picture of the label!
This sake is made by
Kankoubai Sake Brewery in Tsu.
Near the roadside station Tsu-Kawage
They use rice from a place called Kuroda.
I had a hard time deciding between this sake and the Mie University collaboration sake.
I chose the local sake.
(Mie Univ. is also close by.)
I was curious about the name "Inefuri-san," so I looked it up and found that it is also the common name of the Yaniufuri Shrine located near the roadside station Tsu Kawage.
I found out that the name "Inefuri-san" is also the common name of the Yani Funuri Shrine located near Michi no Eki Tsukawage.
It was a good sake to drink a little warm and sip it slowly.
Uchiko in summer
I thought I could not drink Uchiko's sake
I went to the Ehime Prefectural Office in Osaka
I bought a bottle of Chiyonokame at the Ehime Prefectural Office in Osaka.
It has a reasonable flavor and richness
perfect for a mealtime drink.
I want to go for a walk in Uchiko again.
Sekiyado in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture
I went to
There I learned about the "Denken Stamp Rally.
I learned about the "Denken Stamp Rally," so I got the stamps right away. However, I feel a little disappointed that I could have collected more stamps if I had known about it when I visited Uchiko in Iyo, Shikoku in the summer (laugh).
After Sekiyado, we stopped by Kameyama Castle and drove to Tsu Station. I bought this bottle at "Michi no Eki Kawage" on the way.
I didn't find any sake at Sekijuku, so I bought this bottle of Yachiyo and another one here.
Check it out.
I found that there is a sake brewery not far from the roadside station.
It was night time this time. This time we did not go to the brewery because it was night time.
I didn't go to the warehouse this time because it was nighttime, but next time I would definitely
It was a very tasty sake!
Hi autok 🐦.
I didn't know there was such a thing as a "Denken Stamp Rally" 😳I love heavy-duty buildings! I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see it this year 😢.
Sekijuku is also nice ✨I enjoy the castle and sake brewery as a set when I go somewhere!
At Tokyo Station
I might drink it on the Shinkansen
and bought it,
I ended up drinking it at home.
It went well with that day's gyoza
I drank it quickly.
It made the meal enjoyable and tasty.
It's been a while.
Here's a post about bullet train drinking.
Day trip business trip
I'll be back next week
I'm going home early today.
From Tokyo Station
With Yonekaku Kappa...
A little spicy.
It soaks into a tired body.
Buy at Itami
Special Honjozo
Perfect for everyday drinking at room temperature
The description "Daiginjo 20% included
It makes me feel a little bit warm.
I had to go to Itami.
I bought it.
Junmai Ginjo is
There are 300ml and a boxed version.
but they seem to be different from each other.
This time it is 300ml.
The taste is soft and sweet on the palate
It is soft and sweet on the palate with a clean aftertaste.
It goes down smoothly.
Drinking at home, haven't had it yet.
(Purchased this sake to drink sake from the prefecture (not recorded here)
Solid but soft on the palate
Soft on the palate
A little high in alcohol content
I can't help but drink too much of it.
Perfect for this season
Perfect at room temperature
In front of the Ehime Prefectural Office
There was a sake sales event in front of the Ehime Prefectural Office.
I brought back a bottle
Ehime Sakurahime series using Sakurahime yeast, a well balanced (aroma with hints of melon and pineapple, with a firm acidity that blends well with a good sweetness) bottle.
I chose it because I visited Ehime Yawatahama in September.
The taste is exactly as described, so let me quote from the description.
The aroma is light and fresh, with a hint of honeyed apples. The finish is also crisp with acidity and shows a dry edge.
Specific name: Junmai Ginjo
Rice used: Shizukuhime, Polishing ratio: 50
Alcohol content/15.8
Sake Brewer: Umebijin Shuzo Co.
Reference
Ehime terroir sake born from flowers
Ehime Sakurahime Series
4 types, 22 kinds in total
I bought it at a roadside station when I visited Heguri Town, Nara in May this year.
It is quite rare.
Manufactured by
Nara Kasuga Sake Brewery Co.
915 Takahata-cho, Nara City
Planning: Hiraguri Town
Cooperation: Faculty of Agriculture, Kinki University
Rice: Hinohikari grown on idle farmland in Hiraguni-no-Sato
From the beginning, it had color, and although it was not yet refined, it was tasteful.
And now, it is even better!
The fact that it was kept at room temperature during this hot summer has deepened its flavor.
It was one that I wanted to drink in winter~.
Purchased when I went to Itami before summer.
Finally
I finished it.
The taste is soft on the palate
The spiciness lingers in the throat.
This spiciness is very peculiar.
As soon as the spiciness disappears
Another bite, another bite
It's so good!
Itami Laomatsu is not often seen in stores.
If you visit Itami, you must see it!
Travel in Nanyo
Buy in Ozu
Ozu was not what it was when I was there decades ago.
The keep of Ozu Castle had been restored (Heisei).
Most recently
in the animated film Suzume's Doorstep
It has appeared in an animated movie "Suzume no Togome no Togome" (The Doorkeeper of Suzume).
Tourists from abroad...
The Yoro Sake Brewery is located further south in the mountains, so we couldn't go to the brewery,
The taste also evoked the image of a river flowing through that mountainous area.
Gubi!
