Made by Sekiya Brewery in "Tobi" Aichi Prefecture, this Junmai Daiginjo is made from 100% Yume-Ginko sake rice grown in Tobishima Village, Aichi Prefecture. This sake is from Tobishima Village.
It was a Furusato tax return gift, but from August 2023, if you visit Tobishima Village, you can purchase it at two stores that handle it.
It is only available at Yamakae Shoten and A Coop Tobishima in the village.
I learned about this at the Aichi Prefecture booth at the Expo in the summer, and have been itching to go buy some.
I have kept the flyer I received at that time about the Tobishima Village factory moe? I had a flyer for the Tobishima Cruise on hand for a long time, so I went in October with great enthusiasm.
The cruise was a good opportunity, but the main theme was the purchase of "Tobishima" (laugh).
I called Yamakae-san in advance to confirm their business hours and ask them to hold my order since I was going to buy it on the day of the cruise.
So here it is, the "Tobi" I had longed for.
It has a light touch, but the flavor comes through later.
As I like it at room temperature, I drank a bottle at room temperature without hesitation.
I bought two bottles, so next time I will drink it in a different way.
