Sweetness is gentle.
Sweet humminess with a refreshing sourness peeking through later.
Not much bitterness.
I'd say bitterness, or astringency, at the end.
Choumonkyo
Choumonkyo
Special Junmai
Yamada-Nishiki Saigo-no-Shizuku
Sourness and sweetness coexist.
Refreshing aroma
Sweet, umami, and acidity are floral.
But there is also bitterness and spiciness.
Sake is made from rice, I feel.
Nagato Gorge Isehikari Junmai
Dry scam Sorry 🙇 I'm out of line.
I'm an old man who doesn't think spicy is spicy anymore.
It's refreshing and tasty for a Nigori.
I guess you can't imagine it from the intensity of the label.
Hi Nochi 😃
I don't want to say that it's dry heron ⁉️ 😅I know what you mean 👍I'd be prepared for it if it was dry with this look! We don't think that 😋 is dry, but we don't think it's good either 🤗.
Jay & Nobby Good evening. Spicy is difficult, isn't it? Not wasabi, not mustard, not karashi, not karamucho, but spicy. I wish I was an adult who could understand spiciness.
Shin-Yamaguchi 2
For my second drink in Shin-Yamaguchi, I was torn between 🤔 and Nagato Gorge.
Yamaguchi's sake is fascinating (Toyo Bijin? Gotohashi? Ki? Ganki? ...), but I decided to go for my first one!
I've had Nagato Gorge a few times, but this is my first time!
Clear!
Clear.
Dry, but with a hint of sweetness.
A little sweeter than the Kaho no Sato I had earlier?
I usually try not to eat too many calories (no lie), but when I eat out, I eat too much🤣I ate too much today too😅.
This place is pretty good, I might go back!
I thought it would be light and easy to drink, but it had a gassy, sweet and sharp taste with a slightly strong dry aftertaste.
It is a little dry, but overall it is easy to drink.
Shinkansen from Shin-Yamaguchi (2)
Shinkansen from Shin-Yamaguchi to Shin-Yokohama, the person next to me who got on from Okayama, Shin-Kobe, when I was anxious to drink.
Do you see any improvement from the last time? 😝 (Last time I closed up store before arriving at Shin-Kobe)
But I was a little hesitant to open another bottle, because I was worried about the person next to me... The person next to me was a McShake!
But never mind, go ahead 😜.
Next stop, Nagato Gorge.
I stocked this yesterday at a liquor store near the station!
It's a little bit thick and full-bodied.
It has a strong taste, and although it has a bit of an "arosozome" feeling, it's nice!
Today's items?
Nagato Gorge Nama-Shu Honjozo
Sugihime Junmai Ginjo
Kirin Ichiban Shibori
Kashiwa-meshi bento (actually Fukuoka 🤣)
Ponzu (Japanese citrus juice) and onion slices!
Cheese cologne
Cheese cologne (snack fish cake), Yama-yaki dango (recommended by Ishikawa Yoshijun from Yamaguchi?)
We will be late, but we will be able to go home. ☺️
I have enough drinks to get to Shizuoka area 🥳.
Good evening, Takashi.
It's an extra sake activity on the way home. ⤴️
Nagato Gorge, another label, I remember it was very tasty 🎵.
Sake on the train might be good too 😊.
Thank you very much, ma-ki-😊.
I'm kind of enjoying drinking Shinkansen. Although I have to be a little careful of the person next to me 😆.
True, there are a lot of good sake in Yamaguchi 😋.
Takashi, I'm with you 😃.
Oh! You've really raised the bar: ⤴️ It sure takes a lot of courage to open a bottle of alcohol and let the aroma waft through the air with people next to you 😅But you've already expanded your store 🤗Nice job 👍!
Thank you Jay & Nobby 😊.
Yesterday the bullet train was crowded because of the snow, so it was unavoidable that there were people next to me, but it did bother me a bit 😅 there is a little more room for improvement considering that people are coming next to me!
Good morning, Takashi!
Great izakaya shinkansen composition 😁.
I'm curious about the Kashiwameshi Bento and Yaki Dango ✨.
The person next to me only thinks [McShake Umesu〜], probably 🤣.
Hi, Takashi 🐦.
Did you make it to Shizuoka? That's quite a level up 😆👍I think a McShake on the way home 🚄 would be rarer 🤣 don't worry about it and enjoy 🎶.
Thank you, Pon-chan 😊.
I think the reason it lasted until Shizuoka this time is partly because the cup was so small 🍶.
Last time I used a one-cup cup as a vessel 🤣.
Next time I'll aim even higher (that's not what I'm trying to do 😝)
It has a sweet taste, but it's not fruity, it's sweet with a hint of tanginess.
You can tell that it is derived from rice.
It has a lingering aftertaste that lingers on.
The aftertaste of rice leaves a sticky aftertaste.
Not too dry, but not fruity either.
It's like old-fashioned sake.
I'd like to drink it with mackerel or something.
