A souvenir from a business trip to Niigata.
My colleague introduced me to Miyakoya and I bought it.
It was a very tasty sake with the beautiful lightness and umami of Niigata.
The bonito was also very nice and fatty, so it made for a good dinner.

According to my brother-in-law, "Yesterday's makimizu is soooo good, but today's is punchy for the percentage.
My brother-in-law was eating wasabi (S&B) as a snack for sake while saying so. That one has more punch.

I was drinking it on 7/1.
It is aromatic, fruity, sweet from the rice, and refreshingly delicious. Niigata is a great place after all! My daughter had it with her lunch of seared nodoguro (northern bluefin tuna) 😊My daughter had it with her lunch of hegisoba (buckwheat noodles) and tarekatsu (pork cutlet with sauce) and drank it with takachiyou.
Yum! She mumbled like Mr. Purgatory and only gave me a small bite 🤣.
