The aroma is faint but refreshing. When you put it in your mouth, it has a strong sweet and sour taste, which is delicious enough on its own. The lactic acid bacteria flavor lingers in the aftertaste. I don't know what is the right combination for this kind of sake, but it is a delicious sake by itself. ⭐︎:4

The aroma is floral and fruity, or really flowery and fresh. When you put it in your mouth, a firm sweetness spreads first. But there is not that much aroma that goes into the nose from there, and it goes down the throat gently, kind of like water. It may be a good sake because it is easy to drink, but my preference would be for a more robust sake. ⭐︎:3.5

Hello. Thank you for drinking sake from my hometown, Minamiaizu Town!

Thanks for your comment! Minamiaizu is nice, isn't it? I have good memories of drinking a set of Minamiaizu sake popular among locals, which I drank when I stayed at Ouchi-juku!

Sake from Shimonoseki. The aroma is slightly fresh and ginjo-like. The moment you drink it, you are left with the rounded flavor and sweetness of soft rice. It is a little too sweet, but it goes well with strong dishes and sashimi with sashimi soy sauce. Sufficient as a mid-meal snack. ⭐︎:3.5

I chose this sake because of its austere label, but I guess it is a very old sake. The aroma was strong and alcoholic, and the moment you put it in your mouth, you felt the numbness of the alcohol spreading, and while there was sweetness from the rice, there was also a strong alcohol aftertaste. I'm not a strong drinker, so I don't like it. ⭐︎:3

Yes, I still like it! It's been on the top of my list of favorite sake in my heart ever since I first encountered it at an izakaya in Aomori in the winter, but this is the first tazake I've had in probably 6 years. Fruity and muscat aroma. Fresh and juicy entrance that one would never expect from the rugged name "Tasake". The aftertaste is crisp and clean, yet warm and full with a lingering umami. Nice. ⭐︎:4.5

The aroma is fresh and invigorating, like breathing fresh mountain air. In the mouth, it is fruity and delicious, with the complex umami and other tastes of nama-zake. The lingering taste on the tongue is also nice. It's good, but I don't think I really like the complexity of nama-shu. ⭐︎:3.5

Oriental Beauty is wonderful, isn't it? The gorgeous aroma is like the very essence of the name itself, so much so that you want to keep smelling it. The juicy peach-like sensation in the mouth and the sharpness of the finish are also irresistible. I have never tasted Aizan before, but I heard it is famous in Hyogo Prefecture. It has a good balance of elegant acidity and sweetness. ⭐︎:4.5

First Kuroryu I've had in Fukui Almost no aroma, just a faint floral note. There is nothing that pops in the mouth, and it goes in without hesitation. There is nothing unpleasant about it, and it seems to have the capacity to accept anything. It is still delicious! ⭐︎:4

The aroma is slightly ginjo, or yeast, with a gentle fragrance. Refreshing sourness and sourness in the mouth. The sweet nice aroma also passes through the nose and the feeling on the palate is refreshing. ⭐︎:4

At a paid tasting at a sake brewery. The aroma is slightly fruity. The moment you put it in your mouth, it is refreshingly clear, but the ginjo aroma is still there in your nose. The balance between acidity and umami is not bad, but the alcohol lingering on the tongue at the end is not my favorite type. A rice daiginjo called "Celebration" from Kyoto has a mellow, almost banana-like aroma and a generous umami flavor that is just as good as it should be! ⭐︎:3.5

The aroma is delicately fruity. In the mouth, light effervescence and firm sweetness spread, and the aroma passing through the nose is that of muscat. I wonder if this is how white malted rice is supposed to taste like. It is easy to drink, and you can go for it with gusto. ⭐︎:4

The aroma is not that strong and faintly floral. However, the fresh and sweet aroma of muscat that overflows into the mouth is intense! The juicy sweetness and flavor spreads, but it is not too strong and has a clean aftertaste. It's good! ⭐︎:4.5

The aroma has a strong alcohol taste with a slight floral note. The aroma after drinking is not that spectacular, and the flavorful aroma of rice spreads smoothly. There is no aftertaste, so it is not bad as a food sake. ⭐︎:3.0

The aroma is gorgeous, with a muscat-like fragrance. After taking a sip, it is not as light as the aroma, but has a strong umami, alcohol smell, and acidity that comes through to the nose. I enjoyed it with blue fish sashimi! Not something I would necessarily repeat, but a good sake. ⭐︎3.5

I bought this sake at a roadside station on a trip to Uchiko in Ehime. It is not so famous in Ehime, and I did not have high expectations for it, but it is much tastier than I expected! It has a floral and elegant aroma, and the moment you put it in your mouth, the robust sweetness and flavor spread to your tongue as well. It is indeed rich and mellow, with no unpleasant alcohol aftertaste, leaving only a strong umami taste. It is not a famous sake, but I felt that the "new generation of sake" was not a mere pretense!

This may be the first time I've ever drunk ogorigami sake with proper awareness. I'm not quite sure what the difference is between this and nigori sake! It has a beautiful cloudy white color, a very sweet aroma, and the moment you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness and umami of the rice. It is really sweet, almost like a fine calpis. 3.5

First of all, I like the name and design! The taste is as simple and classic as the name "Fuji". The aroma is subtle, and the moment you take a sip, the alcohol and rice flavor spreads quickly, but there are no peculiarities, and the aftertaste is light and refreshing. It is not that distinctive, but it goes well with all kinds of food. ☆: 3.5

From the aroma, it is very floral and nice. The moment you taste it, the sweetness of the rice and the slight sourness and bitterness spread out, creating an excellent balance. The aftertaste is also very pleasant. It has a trendy floral flavor and a classic weight, making it a good all-around food sake. I like it. ☆:4.5

The aroma is mild and slightly cloudy. It has a fresh and invigorating aroma when you drink it, and although it is not a nama-shu, it has an acidity like that of nama-shu and a slight sweetness like calpis. The rice flavor remains and the aftertaste is enjoyable. 3.5 stars
