(*) 🍶🍶🍶🍶 It was hot today, so I had a bottle of Dobrock. It's my first time to drink in Tokyo😙It was separated so I mixed it up and opened the bottle. It was very carbonated and I spilled a lot of water 😛 It was so fizzy it was like pouring cider into a glass. It's not too sweet and the grains of rice are delicious. It's also good on a hot day as it's chilled 😀.

Rabenten is not often seen at liquor stores, but since it was at a department store, I bought it. The Yamadanishiki sake was sold out, so I chose Dewa Sanzan. It is quite gorgeous and fruity. The second half is a little spicy, but it is easy to drink.

This Sake is fruity, crisp and has a long aftertaste. The flavor is like a young pear with a hint of licorice. The acidity gives this a bright and full mouth feel. I am surprised at how long the finish is for this Sake.

To close out the summer. Looking back on summer. Finding the Bentsen Natsu Ginjo After all, the Bentsen suits me. It is crisp and has an indescribable sweetness. I want to call it "Benten Umami", not "Japan Blue". Yamagata's local sake.

The next drink was a Tokujiro for Joyo's distributor? Tokujiro I drank Joyo several times, but this was my first time to drink Tokujiro. I happened to see on a restaurant instagram I follow that Tokujiro was originally a joint product between a Hirakata liquor store and the Joyo Brewery. It's unfiltered, once-bottled, and heated. It's fire-brewed, but it's still slightly effervescent and has a fresh, mellow rice flavor that's really tasty 😋. I'll buy Tokujiro next time I see it.

I bought it because a liquor store in my neighborhood started handling Tajima. I was surprised at how fruity it was. It is fresh, moderately sweet, and delicious. It is a more modern sake than I expected. After drinking this after the first time, it feels more like a sake 🤔.

This sake was tasted at the Kobe Hankyu event and made a good impression, and was highly praised by Nemuchi-san. A liquor store in my neighborhood became a special distributor, but I was wondering why they didn't carry this sake. When I go to this liquor store, I can't stop looking at different things. There are both hi-seasoned and draft Morishima's Omachi and Yamadanishiki, and there are several Nozomis... In the end, I narrowed it down to one bottle and chose this one. This is the first time I drink Koshinohomare at home. As for the rice, some stores say they use Takananishiki and others say Koshikagura, but which is it? Fresh, gassy and fruity. Juicy, like apple or pineapple. I was surprised at how delicious it was.

This Sake is bright and flavorful. There is a sweetness followed by the tartness of grapefruit. There is also a hint of banana. The acidity gives this a short and clean finish. Brilliant! 😁

Junmai-Ginjo sake with 50% polishing ratio This sake is brewed by blending Kyokai 1801 and the original ginjo yeast, Kyokai 901. It has a fruity, gorgeous aroma and a pleasant sweetness that spreads in the mouth. Delicious! The label is said to have been designed with a snowflake "Grandpa Sujimaki" of the famous mountain, Yoneyama, which announces the rice planting season in Kashiwazaki, on a label with a texture of textiles associated with the hemp and silk textiles that are famous in Echigo.
