This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.

I bought this at the brewery's direct sales counter on my GW trip to Nagano! I had a great shopping experience with the courteous staff and went home feeling great! The aroma is what you would call "sake" with a hint of alcohol. It also has a grassy nuance. Immediately after taking a sip, there is a pleasant sourness that lasts until the end. Of course there is sweetness, but if anything, it is more umami. The bitterness is gentle at the end. It has a juicy atmosphere with acidity as if it is made from a sake yeast yeast. Kurosawa is a brewery that specializes in making sake from the "nama-hashiroshi," so I was convinced after drinking it that it was made from the "nama-hashiroshi. I was told at the brewery that the sake has an excellent balance of the four tastes of sweetness, flavor, acidity, and bitterness, and this is exactly what it tastes like. It has a good acidity, but it is not showy at all. It is a sake that goes well with any meal, and I am sure I will become a fan of Kurosawa Shuzo after drinking it. This is their regular product, so they are a brewery of extraordinary quality. It goes well with shime saba (mackerel), salty yakitori, grilled fresh onions, and omelettes! It goes with everything!

Purchased at a new roadside station in Yachiho Kogen. The brewery is located in the uppermost reaches of the Chikumagawa River. It is aged at a low temperature in an ice cellar and has a high alcohol content. When chilled, it has a mild flavor and spicy acidity, and when lukewarm, it has a spiciness and a sake-like aroma. It is a good sake that can be enjoyed all year round.

Junmai Ginjo🍶Summer only sake 😆. Sweet and thick 😳. It's like coarse 😅. When you take your time to sip it, it softens a bit and has a dry melon aftertaste. Softened by Aizu's specialty, squid and carrots. The final dish is a chilled shoyu sauce, which is unique to summer. But it is rather refreshing. The soup is delicious. @Digital Rural Tavern Kanmasu This is Gekiyumi from Nagurayama Brewery. The top aroma is slightly sweet. In the mouth, refreshing sweetness with a hint of yogurt-like acidity. It is well-balanced and delicious. The second picture is the brewery of the Nagurayama Sake Brewery in Aizuwakamatsu City. It is also located in the middle of a residential area. It was about a 15-minute walk from Miyazumi Meizumi Brewery.

I stopped by the brewery for the first time in a while. I used to have a special fire-brewed junmai and a sake called "Mariko no shu" which is named after the female toji (master brewer?). Both were quite dry, classical sake. Both were quite dry classical sake, and I had the impression, for better or worse, that this is what local sake is supposed to be like. This was probably my first nigori sake, but it looked delicious, so I bought some! I wondered if the beautiful woman at the sales counter was Mariko herself? It has a classical aroma with a banana feel. It is more of a hint than a standing aroma. It has a classical taste and is dry, but you can drink it by itself if you want! It is very easy to drink because it has a lot of turbidity, which gives it a strong umami flavor and makes it easy to taste the sweetness. I drank it with kimchi nabe (kimchi stew), and I think it goes well with strong flavors and nabe dishes! It also seems to go well with meat, and I am sure it would go well with ginger-grilled pork or chicken steak. I imagine it is like Kikuhime nigori or Tamagawa nigori! To be honest, I think it's one of the best in the Koshu Plum Grove, so I'd be happy to buy a bottle and drink it slowly. It can probably be stored at room temperature until early spring.

This is my first time drinking Etsukaijin. As the label clearly states. Sake degree +10 degrees, alcohol level is around 18 degrees. It has a thick and rich taste. It is well-balanced with a touch of sharpness. It is a brand that I would like to follow for a while.
