The third glass was Ippongi. It was fruity, easy to drink and full of flavor. It had a very sophisticated taste. I had other drinks, but I don't have any pictures of them. It was a night of enjoying sake (a lot) with Taiwanese people, food, and atmosphere.
Next is Shantan Masamune. How about some Taiwanese vegetables? This wild vegetable called kakeneko was recommended to us. It had a slight consistency and taste like okra or molokheiya. I was told that cats don't like the smell (?) of this grass. The cat didn't like the smell (?) of this grass. Humans enjoyed it.
Another dish was spicy dumplings seasoned in Taiwanese style. The sourness of the sauce is enhanced by the Tabasco!
At Chishinliao in Taipei. it was a hot day, over 30 degrees Celsius, so we chose this fresh, fruity, dry drink for our first cup. Soothing. With a Taiwanese flavored crab cakes ajillo.
Surprising for what I consider to be the taste of Fukushima sake. It has a sour taste.
Each slice of medium fatty tuna marinated in green pepper soy sauce has plenty of lingering flavor, and it's a very nice feeling to greet it with this draft sake.
The cherry blossoms were in bloom .
It has a slight sweetness to it. It's quite chilled (and it's cold today!). It is easy to drink. I heard that this brewery has been revived this season? I'll check later.
