We had a bottle of Tasake!
This is indeed a very popular brand! It's so good!
It was a good thing I bought a bottle, but my fridge is in serious trouble💦.
Accompanied by Shizenigo jelly!
I personally like "Abukuma" no matter what I drink, and this one was no exception.
It has the gorgeous and fruity flavor that is typical of Abukuma, but it is not too harsh and goes down smoothly.
I paired it with white wine stewed chicken thighs, and it was perfect!
Today, while admiring the autumn leaves, I visited my favorite brewery, Toyokuni Sake Brewery in Furudono-machi!
The symbolic outer wall... (Moe!!!)
I bought a bottle of sake that I had never seen before, along with a sake cup 👍 ̖́-
This is...!!! It's so delicious~😭I love Ippo-self, but this one is good too!!!!
I have the impression that it's dry with a muscat flavor!
I'm blissfully enjoying it with vegetables I bought at a nearby market. 🙇♀️ ̖́-
It is getting much cooler in Fukushima 😊.
The sound of bell bugs is beautiful!
I've just had a glass of Naraman cold oroshi, but I tried heating it up.
I've rarely had hot sake, but this!
It's soooooooo good!
The flavor and umami are so good! It takes the edge off, or rather, it makes you a gentle tsundere type of girl!
I keep coming back to Naraman! Thank you!
It's insanely delicious (tears).
I was so impressed~! I got hooked on sake because of Ippou myself, and the feelings I had at that time came back to me at once!
Only Ippou-self can surpass Ippou-self...!
Today we received "Shizen Shu Autumn Agari" from Niida Honke, one of my favorite breweries in Japan!
It is rich in umami, but at the same time it is clean and crisp, with a slight citrus flavor! Wow! Maihi~!
I love it! I love it!
We had 300 yen per sea bream, 100 yen per sardine, and 110 yen per saury from the local supermarket, which we served as sea bream rice, soup with kabuto-arashi, fried, and grilled! What a luxury!
We are happy again today!
The other day was Sake Day! So we opened a bottle of Hirotogawa Junmai Ginjo! I had been saving this sake for a while 😊.
I really wanted to pay a visit to a place before drinking it... Yes! Matsuzaki Sake Brewery!
Let's go touring in the cloudless autumn weather!
We passed Toyokuni Sake Brewery in Furudono-machi and Oki Daikichi Honten in Yabuki-machi on the way to Ten-ei-mura!
It took us about 2 hours one way to get to Ten'ei-mura, where we stalked the long-sought-after Matsuzaki Sake Brewery (thank you very much 😭), and the full-face man in a leather jacket taking pictures of us was like a pervert!
After about 5 hours of bullet-running without eating or drinking, I came home with a sore ass, a sore back, and sore shoulders, and it was time to drink!
Mmmmmm...!
Mmmmmm... This is like a very good at her job, but with the kindness of a beautiful female boss...!
There is not a single bad thing about her, she is sophisticated and perfectly balanced...!
Thanks to Mr. Hirotogawa, I had a very fulfilling holiday today.
mikomichio, that sounds great! I've been touring to Ten-ei village a couple of times too ‼️ It's peaceful in that area, not many cars, the roads are nice and great for running 😆‼️
Thank you Manachy for your comment 🙇♀️ ̖́-
It was a really nice place! There are almost no traffic lights and Fukushima is full of nice places no matter where you drive!
This time we went to the ruins of Tanagura Castle in Fukushima Prefecture!
The beautiful countryside of Fukushima on the way...! It's the best!
And then the Koshino Katora Hiyoroshi! No, it's not Fukushima sake!
Keitora is fruity! Sweet like caramel! Umami richness!
By the way, the first lord of the Tanagura domain was the famous Muneshige Tachibana! Successive lords of the Tanagura domain also served in important positions in the Edo Shogunate, and the ruins of Tanagura Castle are said to be a power spot for revival and success in life! And this year marks the 400th anniversary of the castle's construction, so you have no choice but to visit!
Good evening, mikomichio 🌆I often go to Tanagura on my motorcycle 🏍️ it sounds so beneficial 😆 I was thinking of going back soon so I might stop by 😆 ‼️
Manachy, thank you for your comment: 🙇♀️
Is it a motorcycle! Actually, I'm a biker too!
I'm ashamed to admit that I only recently learned about Tanagura too💦It's a hidden gem!
It's so yummy!
Pitchy, juicy, and refreshing!
The acidity is also good (๑̀ㅂ́)و✧
I hear that Masamune is very popular among people. Actually, it's not sold at all even in Fukushima.
Shizenigo is relatively easy to find and very tasty, so please drink it~!
!?
Whoa... This is...!
This is too good...!
Don't think, feel! Like...?
I can't describe the feeling in words.
Once you take a sip, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of Fukushima.
Exceptional...!
Yummmm!
I thought it would be a light and dry sake like Niigata, but it is more like a light and fruity one. It has no off-putting taste, and the umami of rice, lightness, and fruity taste are well balanced and delicious!
The quality is unbelievable for the low 1,000 yen range 😂Please raise the price!
I'm sure Niigata's sake is great!
I got it at a supermarket sale👍
The label says not to drink too much...
Well, I can control myself as well as Koizumi Shinjiro!
Now, let's eat, Pecorine!
Mmmm! This is definitely the kind of drink that makes me drink too much!
And it has 20 degrees alcohol by volume! I'm getting happier and happier with a chaser and a Kurogiri highball 𓏸︎︎︎𓈒*°꒰ঌ(✝︎ promotion ˘˘ 天✝︎ )໒꒱*°
However, before I lose control of myself, I cooked creamed chicken thighs, changed my mind halfway through and put in leftover pumpkin-('-')╮=͟͟͞͞⚾️
The first sake of the fall season is "Ippoki Junmai Ginjo" from Toyokuni Shuzo in Furudono, one of my favorite breweries in Japan!
This is the sake that got me hooked on sake, so I was overjoyed to be able to get it!
The moment I opened the bottle, it smelled like pineapple! When you drink it, it also has a grape-like flavor!
The sweetness, umami, and then the bitterness and sourness!
The side dishes were grilled fish with salt and simmered radish!
We are so happy!
Thank you Toyokuni Shuzo!
Today, I went touring.
I visited Komine Castle! It is a castle in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. I like Eika Monogatari, so I was delighted to see that the castle is related to Matsudaira Sadanobu!
I was so happy to see the castle related to Matsudaira Sadanobu, because I love Eika Monogatari!
Ooooh...! This is too delicious! It is indeed sweet like a melon, but with a sour and bitter taste that is perfectly balanced! There is no residual sweetness at all! The taste is refreshing, yet has a solid core!
I can just picture the sound of insects outside in the middle of the night as you cool off in the night breeze coming in through the screen door!
This sake is just what summer in Fukushima is all about...!
I wish everyone could drink it!
Hello mikomichio 🐦.
I like your castle... I wonder if it is one of the 100 best castles in Japan? I'm touring around and would love to visit one someday 😊.
It's hot, but the sound of insects at night is a sign of autumn 😌It's perfect right now 👍.
Good evening, mikomichio!
Komine Castle on a touring trip - that's good 🏍️
My wife and I went for a drive 🚗.
By the way, this review looks delicious 🤤!
I would love to try some of the summer sake from Fukushima ❗😋.
Thank you for your comment, Ponchan: 🙇♀️
I liked Komine Castle 😊.
It made me realize that there are aspects of sake that can be enjoyed along with the changing of the seasons!
Today, I watched Oni no Kai with my kids.
It was great, and I can't hate on Kuboza 😢.
While soaking up the afterglow, today we had this sake from Kumamoto, Kyushu, which is a rarity in Fukushima Prefecture where I live! It is very delicious! It is a sweet and delicious sake, but it is so refreshing that you can't help but be surprised.
Thanks to the liquor store that carries it ✨.
It is the end of an 11-day working streak. I am no longer tired, and my body no longer feels fatigue. I feel pleasure of cleaning, washing, mowing and pushing myself from the morning...!
This is a gift from my colleague from Aizu! Thank you so much 😭.
Eikawa is a legendary sake brewery that no one over the age of middle-aged people in Fukushima Prefecture would know about even if they don't drink sake.
I'm ashamed to admit that this was my first time drinking it💦.
I had an image of a traditional dry sake, but Eishiro is completely the opposite! Ripe fruits like pineapple and mango! But it is not sweet and has a refreshing sharpness! Mmmmmmmm! Super! Superb! This is what daiginjo is all about... Bik-bik-bik!
This sake is also on my fainting-in-absentia list!
This time I had pork wrapped asparagus with sweet potato potage sauce 😋.
Good morning, mikomichio 😃.
After working 11 straight 😳🧹and doing all the housework you can 🧺You have great vitality 🤗A fainting souvenir drink for a tired body is heavenly 😪, isn't it?
Yiiiii~!
Personally, I found it to be in the same vein as Sharaku, but it is more refreshing, very easy to drink, and too delicious! This is definitely a repeat customer!
The label is stylish and nice! It would be great in a Western-style restaurant!
Today's toast is chicken thigh stewed in red wine with tomatoes.
Hi mikomichio 😃
We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed our first bottle of Mr. Morishima's Miyamanishiki! We were so shocked when we first tasted it that we immediately bought a bottle 🤗It sure goes well with western food too😙.
This is a repeat. My wife bought it, good choice!
Mmmm... It is still too delicious!
I was making beef shank stewed in red wine, so I matched it with it, and the strong and well-balanced Naraman matched the strong taste just right! This is like Ujiyasu Hojo in Nobunaga's Ambition.
Yummmm!!!
This is my first "Niida Sanshu" and it is surprisingly good! It's my first time tasting it, but I'm already shocked that I want another bottle!
Seriously, I'm going to hit the storehouse!
