While getting into the taste change on the second day of Urasato... I drank it all and was not satisfied, so I opened a bottle of local sake 🍶🤭.
This one is a cosy cat🐈 label from Kanemitsu Shuzo's "Sakurafukiyuki" sake with aluzake.
(There is some speculation, but I am almost certain that it is because Mr. Kanemitsu, the brewer, is a cat lover.
Now, putting such unimportant information aside... I have an image that I dislike alcoholic sake... or that I get drunk badly 😅I think that's a thing of the past (or all-you-can-drink sake in chain stores)... but... But....
It's been a while since I've opened a bottle 🍶.
I still think it's different from Kamo Kanehide...no pizzazz. The taste is like a middle-class sake, and the unobtrusive umami, sweetness, and spiciness are just right 👌.
It's more like a sake to drink with rice instead of beer 🍺.
It's a good price for a good drink 👌.
This sake has a freshness and roughness as if it were drawn directly from the brewery's tanks. It has a slight grain-derived greenness and a mellow, full-bodied flavor derived from the rice, making it a good match with meals. After opening the bottle, I felt it deteriorate quite a bit over time, so it is best to drink it right away.
The 18% alcohol content is strong and I would not recommend it to those who like the trendy modern taste, but the cost performance is excellent and I was wondering if I should buy a bottle again. The fact that it is Sakurafubuki instead of Kamo Kanehide is also fitting: ☺️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kanemitsu Shuzo, the brewer of my favorite brand, Kamo Kanehide, also brews a brand with an alcohol-sweetened name "Sakurafuki".
I usually don't like to drink alky sake, but when I went to a direct sales place yesterday to buy something for a friend, I accidentally bought it because of its cheap price 🤭 (less than 1,200 yen for 720ml).
I drank it last year, but I had forgotten how it tasted 😅.
When I opened the bottle again, I didn't smell that much aroma. When I take a sip, I feel the sweetness, but it is only because it is alky. It goes in smoothly and has a clean aftertaste👍.
It is a very easy to drink sake and does not disturb as a food sake 🙌.
However, this one is not made with a piquancy feeling, which is Kamo Kanehide's specialty, even when hi-iring... I didn't realize how different they are even if they are from the same brewery! It was a new discovery for me 💡.
The most important thing is that it's very cost-effective, which is great for drinkers 🥰.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I usually have one beer 🍺 followed by cheap shochu 😅...but since it's the end of the year, I can't save any more 🤭.
It would be fun to rank the drinks under 1,500 yen: ❗️
🌾Domestic rice 🅰️15 degrees
Purchased at the sake brewery of Nonta in Saijo Roadside Station. It has a sour and sweet taste, but like other Saijo sake, it is not harsh and has a clean aftertaste. The cat label is also nice.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This "Sakurafukiyuki" is a brand created in the Meiji era, and is more cosy than "Kamo Kanehide" from the same Kinko's brewery 😀.
The aroma is subtle, and the fruity sensation flows quickly in the mouth, with a mellow, umami aftertaste. It is a little more classic, and is very typical of Japanese sake 🍶. ☺️
Sweet and sour taste followed by bitterness and alcohol. It has no characteristics, but it is honestly delicious. Good cost performance. Can be bought at supermarkets for 1,400 yen.
