This is the first mini bottle that my wife gave me as a souvenir from our Romasaga trip. When I asked for Junmai, she was very considerate and gave me a drinking set to compare 👍️ I opened the bottle of Shichida, which I knew the name of. It had a nice aroma, so I tried it in a wine glass. The aroma was gorgeous and chemical in a good sense. It has a rich, mellow, sweet taste with a bitter accent at the back of the tongue. I tried to marry it with a bite of a mutsugoro, another souvenir. I didn't know you could eat mutsugoro 💦 It may not look like it, but it tastes like a small peanut fish and it's good 😋.

郡山出張のお土産2本目。 今回は会津はスルーして、郡山の渡辺酒造本店のお酒をチョイス。地元向けの御神酒酒屋が元らしい。そう言われると昔地元の神社の初詣で味わった御神酒っぽい味がする🤭 冷やすとスッキリ過ぎて物足りない。燗にするとお米のコクと甘さが少し出てくるけど、基本はすーっと呑める苦酸。温度上げた方が美味しくなる。鍋とか温かい和食に合わせたい味。

The first souvenir from a business trip to Koriyama. I chose Nihonmatsu sake from the same Nakadori area. The label is stylish and not sake-like✨. Iodine aroma, looks and tastes like plum wine, full-bodied, sweet and sour. I've never seen a sake with a sake rating of minus 84 💦 It has some acidity, so it's sweeter and cleaner than the number. It's a great after-dinner sip with cheese or fruit 🎵.

The last bottle I got on my trip to Obuse. It is a sake from Ina, Minami-Shinshu. It is the sister of Otamajakushi, which is made with local rice, even the rice paddies are designated. My impression is that it is similar to Izumibashi, which I drank a while ago. Likewise, it is more balanced and dry when warmed than when cold. I am curious about the difference from the original Imaizumi's regular version and Otamajakushi (^-^-zu).

Extra Edition. On the way home, I found a pack of Kitakata sake at a convenience store and bought it. It was my first time drinking sake with a straw💦It just had a strong bitter taste and I couldn't finish it. Yes, cheap sake is just as good as it should be (of course).

The third cup is the same sake from Kitakata. It has a soft sweetness and umami flavor. I paired it with a specialty of Koriyama, Namenroku (carp). The cabbage rice cake was also delicious 🎵. Fukushima's sake brewing industry seems to be putting a lot of effort into sake recently, and after winning V9 gold medals at the National New Sake Competition, they regained it this year for the first time in three years. It was interesting to see the photos from the local newspaper 😂.

We changed riverbanks and went to our main restaurant. And ikaninjin again at tsukidashi🤭The customer service and the atmosphere inside are good, and it looks like it is crowded with local customers. Above all, the price of alcohol is more reasonable than before. 👍️ The second sake was a clean, dry sake similar in style to Yuzu. This one has more of a lingering umami taste in the mouth. I couldn't help but reach for a brand I'd never heard of before 💦Kitakata sake.

When you want to enjoy the local delicacies on a business trip to Koriyama, the best thing to do is to drink alone 🍶 (although I think a lot of people enjoy it, too). The first stop is a nearby yakitori restaurant for a quick look around. After quenching my thirst with a beer, I chose a Koriyama sake. As the name and word of mouth says, it is mild, clean, and dry. The aroma was almost imperceptible. Maybe a different container or temperature would give a different impression. It was great with the set of river fish tempura ✨and of course with the yakitori.

Another mini bottle of Hokushinryu. It is a junmai ginjo of the same Kinmonnishiki variety, but this one is a single-hiayoroshi (hiya oroshi). Compared to the nama-shu, the bitterness is less pronounced and the rice is a little sweeter. I prefer this one. I googled this sake rice and found that it has had quite a strange fate. Next time I will try Kurobiki or Mizuo.

Every year at this time, I go sightseeing in Obuse for chestnut sweets. I got two mini bottles of Hokushinryu as souvenirs at the brewery. They are the same junmai ginjo and the rice is Kinmon-nishiki produced in Kijimadaira, Nagano Prefecture. I started with the draft sake. It was bitter and spicy with a slightly higher alcohol content. I think the guy at the store said the other one, the Akigari, was drier 💦 Hmmm, didn't really have the freshness of the nama-shu.

I bought some sake at a nearby liquor store in order to drink sake produced in my home prefecture once in a while. I tend to go for brands from sake brewing areas (^-^-zu). I started with cold sake. The bitter and spicy taste comes first, followed by a slightly acidic, refreshing taste. If you warm it up to lukewarm, the bitterness is hidden and the sweetness comes out. Both can be enjoyed at this time of the year, but I prefer heated sake because it takes away the corners. 👍️

Since the beef was delicious Omi beef, I paired it with sake from the same prefecture. It was sweet on the palate and had a robust flavor that did not overpower the meat. It is a pity that there was no information about the sake other than the brand name. Next time, I would like to enjoy it at home.

The only sake brewery in Shimosuwa. The reason why I wondered why the manufacturer is a transportation company in Fukushima is because the business was once closed down and then revived through succession. Unlike what I imagined from the label and the "dry" name, the taste on the palate is sweet and sour with a mellow apple flavor. The aftertaste is dry and spicy with a sharpness and a gassy feeling on the tip of the tongue. This is delicious. This time we had a mini-bottle due to the time we spent there, but next time I'd like to take my time to select a bottle of No. 4.

It was on sale at a nearby liquor store, so I just had to smell it and buy it. It was my first time to try Gunma sake. It's still too hot for hiyaoroshi, but 💦... The name and aroma were exactly what I expected. It has a long, full lingering finish. I liked this one. 👍️

I chose this bottle as a souvenir from a business trip to Sendai. After comparing the sake at the sake counter in the long-established department store Fujisaki, I took home the most standard Yamahai Junmai. It was the clearest Yamahai I've ever tasted, but it still had the complex flavors that are typical of Yamahai. The taste was to my liking with a round acidity 🎵.

Sake from Obuse, famous for its chestnuts. The light blue label is refreshing and summery. The taste is perfect for this time of year, with a refreshing acidity that cuts through quickly. It is said to be drier than other brands of this brand. Next time, I would like to drink it lukewarm after the fall season.

The second drink to finish because it is light. This is the first summer cotton sake I've ever had. A summer sake version of Wataya. The label design is cute and I like it✨. It has a soft acidity, like a diluted calpis, and a refreshing taste perfect for this season. The ginjo aroma is also light. I guess the glass may have something to do with it, but this is the best taste I've had today. The choice of sake cup is also important.

The same DATE SEVEN drinking comparison of Urakasumi. The overall taste is stronger than Hakurakusei. It also has a bitter aftertaste, which makes it more satisfying to drink. I think this one is more to my taste these days.

After a business trip to Sendai, I stopped by a restaurant for a quick drink. It was nice to see the Tanabata decorations just before the end of the day 😊. The first drink was the Hakurakusei style from the DATE SEVEN drinking contest. It was as easy to drink as advertised and didn't interfere with the taste of the food. I didn't feel the ginjo aroma because it was in a small glass.

A bottle brewed by a brewery that was destroyed by fire with the help of surrounding breweries. I didn't expect it to be restored so soon. I bought it to support them. The sweet and sour taste comes first and the aftertaste is bitter. I feel that it is a good reproduction of the taste I liked when I drank it before. I hope they use this as a beacon of revival and do their best to rebuild.
