The second drink to finish because it is light. This is the first summer cotton sake I've ever had. A summer sake version of Wataya. I love the cute label design✨. It has a soft acidity, like a diluted calpis, and a refreshing taste perfect for this season. The ginjo aroma is also light. I guess the glass may have something to do with it, but this is the best taste I've had today. The choice of sake cup is also important.

The same DATE SEVEN drinking comparison of Urakasumi. The overall taste is stronger than Hakurakusei. It also has a bitter aftertaste, which makes it more satisfying to drink. I think this one is more to my taste these days.

After a business trip to Sendai, I stopped by a restaurant for a quick drink. It was nice to see the Tanabata decorations just before the end of the day 😊. The first drink was the Hakurakusei style from the DATE SEVEN drinking contest. It was as easy to drink as advertised and didn't interfere with the taste of the food. I didn't feel the ginjo aroma because it was in a small glass.

A bottle brewed by a brewery that was destroyed by fire with the help of surrounding breweries. I didn't expect it to be restored so soon. I bought it to support them. The sweet and sour taste comes first and the aftertaste is bitter. I feel that it is a good reproduction of the taste I liked when I drank it before. I hope they will use this as a beacon of revival and do their best to rebuild.

It tastes sweeter and spicier than the Junmai I drank the other day. The ginjo aroma is not so strong. The Junmai was easier to drink and I might have liked it better. I hope to drink it next time.

This is the second souvenir bottle purchased at the brewery's direct sales store at the beginning of GW. It is made in the Yamahai style, which I like, and the simple label design is also favorable. The lactic acidity is well pronounced with a clean aftertaste, and the sake is easy to savor without any stickiness. It is just right to drink it cold during this hot season 🎵.

This is the sixth brewery in the Saku Sake Brewery series. Located in a historic town along the old Nakasendo road, this is a place I would like to visit again. The taste is very strong as it is called "mellow" sake. It is 18% alcohol by volume. It has a bitter taste on the tip of the tongue, followed by a sweet sake-like flavor. I heard that there is a way to enjoy it by aging it after buying it. Next time I'll let it mature a bit and try it with mizutaki in winter 😋.

The only sake brewery in Komoro. Made with hard water from Mt. The fresh aroma reminds one of rum. It has a sweet and rich taste, but the refreshing bitterness in the aftertaste makes it easy to drink. It is a good substitute for beer when drunk cold at this time of the year. 👍️

First time drinking local sake. This sake brewery was started in Kusatsu-juku by a descendant of Ota Doukan. It is said that the brewery is involved in a wide range of activities, including making sake and wine exclusively for the Imperial Palace and the Kyoto Imperial Gardens. I had no idea. The main taste is similar to Ganki, with a clean, slightly sweet and sour taste. I didn't know there was a sake I liked so close by. ❤️ I'll go to buy some next time I'm back home. PS: I think the bitterness that lingers in the mouth increases as time goes by. It may be due to the temperature change.

Masumi's brewery limited edition sake. The cedar aroma was faint at the beginning but became less and less apparent 💦 The taste was gentle with a hint of sweetness and a sharp bitterness at the end. As advertised, it was the perfect sake for a mealtime drink. I would like to visit the brewery next time as there are 5 breweries within walking distance.

A stylish looking cup of sake✨I opened it in the afternoon on the spur of the moment, but I'm sure it would be great tasted under the stars. It is a junmai namaishime, the same as the one in the cup. It seemed to have a harsher mouthfeel than when I tasted it before, but as the temperature rose, it settled down. I knew this sake suited me.

Continuing with the first time, I tried a sake from Ehime this time. I had never heard of Matsuyama Mitsui sake rice. The POP advertised that the sake could be enjoyed at various temperatures, so I tasted it at room temperature first. It had a gentle ginjo aroma and just the right amount of smoothness in the mouth. It has a rather clear appearance and taste for an unfiltered sake, and the aftertaste cuts through easily. This would make a great food sake 🎵. Next time, I will lower the temperature and enjoy the change.

For the second glass, I chose another Shizuoka sake from the app members-only sake list, which was also a first for me. It was thicker, sweeter, and more flavorful than the first cup of Kuroryu Ichikurai. The balance of sweet and spicy was just the way I like it. It was a great match with the pickled firefly squid that I ordered because of the name 🎵.

I found it at a roadside station and bought it without thinking. It was a limited edition bottle made last year to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the birth of GODZILLA. It tastes like Chikuma-Nishiki, a traditional sake with a dry, guttural taste. I tasted it cold, so my impression might change if the temperature is raised.

A souvenir for myself when I went to Suwa on an errand. I chose Suiro for the first time. It has a strong flavor of sweet, bitter, and sour. But the aftertaste is refreshing. Next time, I would like to try Maihime or Shinshu Neko Masamune.

My wife gave me this mini bottle as a souvenir from our trip to Fukuoka. I didn't expect much since I'm a non-drinker (pardon the pun), but it's a good sake that has won awards in international competitions✨. It has a gorgeous ginjo aroma, a soft and clear sweetness, and a slight bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue. The mini bottle was not enough for me 😆👌❤️

Sake from Higashiomi city, which was obtained through tax payment. It is firm, dry, and has moderate acidity. It tastes similar to the Ojiro we had the other day. Personally, I would prefer it to be a little more square.
