Today's sake from Hitachinokuni, Morishima Sake Brewery to the mountains.
I bought some sake from a brewery nestled in the bosom of the Juoh Plateau (Abukuma Highlands).
I bought it, and it is only distributed in Ibaraki Prefecture.
It seems to be distributed only in Ibaraki Prefecture.
The sake is labeled as having a Sake degree of ➕2 and a Sake Sei of 15-16°.
Slightly ethylated, with a slight ethyl smell.
Not an unpleasant smell at all.
When you drink it, it tastes a little like a sake yeast.
But it goes in as easily as water.
Is it beautifully delicious?
Ummm, it's delicious 😋, but why isn't it known to the world?
thanks Otsu Port Sake Center (Otsu Port, Hitachinokuni)
We look forward to the new Tomikushin Orikarami sake every year!
Apparently, Miyamanishiki is hard to find, so this year they are mixing in some Hitanishiki!
Apple and strawberry-like aroma
Sharp sweetness with a hint of astringency.
Citrusy acidity in the aftertaste
Sweetness increases when mixed with Oryu, and it is sweet like Yui Yui.
Chocolate-like richness
It goes well with leftover Setsubun beans and strawberries.
I'm glad it tastes like the Fukushin I'm used to drinking!
I will drink it again next year!
Replacing the Morohaku I bought in January with a four-pack and opening it on the first day of Yayoi!!!!
When I poured the top clear liquid into a glass to drink first, it did not come out. To my surprise, the morohaku hardened and did not emit any ooze (second picture).
After that, I shook the shigoto bottle and drank some nigori (nigori sake). It still has the same bubbly (carbonated) taste. It is as easy to drink as ever.
Last year, the quality was degraded due to overstorage, but this time, the quality was maintained!
50% polished rice
The taste is still very old-fashioned, but the sweetness and umami are strong and refreshing.
The aroma is quite weak, yet the taste is strong in the mouth. But it is not too strong.
I love it because I can drink it as much as I want.
Purchased at the Nohmi Sake Shop for 2,350 yen. I told the owner that the price had gone up from last year, but he said it was because the price of rice had gone up. The price increase affects us here too (tears).
As usual, the sake is light, easy to drink, and fruity. I immediately split it into two four-pack bottles and kept one in the fridge for regular use and the other outside in the storage room to be opened in March. The last time I had it, I let it sit too long and it lost its flavor.
I have been away from sake lately, but when I saw this at the supermarket, I had to buy it. I was about to buy it, but then, oh no, it was gone!
I cannot helpgetting MOROHAKU!
So I drove to my familiar shop, Nomi Sake Shop!
Rice that spreads softly on the palate.
Mellow mid- to aftertaste.
There is no sharpness, but a smooth texture.
Positively simple and refined sake.
It has no habits.
Last week at Yamazaki Shop Usami in Kitaibaraki
This year I got four of them.
Every year, I receive four bottles of sake from Usami-san while visiting the graves.
I have been receiving this sake from Usami-san while visiting the graves.
This year's results were...
First the supernatant...
No shots, a marriage of spiciness and acidity
Mazemaze... explosion in the middle 🤣.
Nice fizziness, good acidity and play in the mouth
Moromi feeling...this year again did not betray my expectations!
A very beautiful sake 🍶.
There was a lot going on...let's get drunk and forget about it (lol)
After a successful physical checkup, the first drink in three days was Morohaku from Tomikushin!
I look forward to drinking it every year!
I am concerned that it looks the same as the Valium I drank during the day.
When I pour it into a glass, sometimes solid matter comes out.
Fresh aroma with hints of pear and lafrance
Cookie-like sweetness and texture
Thick and thick texture.
Surprisingly refreshing aftertaste thanks to moderate acidity
It is good this year, too!
Good evening, bap 😃.
Thanks for the physical exam 😌.
Valium drink 😆 Sludgy drink for a refreshed body! Interesting that you can drink it clear though 🤗.
It was a sake with a Sake meter of +2, but it had a sweet and umami taste, and was also refreshing. It happened to be a perfect match for fried oysters with tartar sauce at this time of the year.
The name "Tomikyushin" was derived from "Tomizo" of Tomizo I, "Hisa" of Wakuri, the mother of Shigenao IV, and most importantly, "Kokoro" or "heart".
It has a gorgeous heady aroma as soon as it is opened, cemedine aroma from the glass, and a full-bodied, umami sweetness. The aftertaste is a bit hard, with a hint of sakekasu (sake lees). Legs are few and weak, but long.
It is a sake that makes you drink.
