Sake comparison at home! We chose 3 kinds of sake from "Fukumitsuya", a long-established sake brewery in Kanazawa. Fukumasa Munune Junmai Dry, Nama Zume. This was the first sake made with black malted rice. I felt a bit salty, but I wondered if this was the richness found in sake made with "black koji"? Wind, Water, Man, Junmai 9 It is a junmai sake with an alcohol content of 9 degrees Celsius and a refreshing taste. I would like to drink it with pasta or Italian food! Fukumaso Sake: Hyoketsu Nama-Shu Dry With a sake alcohol content of +10%, it has a very strong sake taste! I would like to drink it with a salty meal and sip it while neutralizing the taste. It was interesting to compare the different types of sake and to see the difference between them. ☺️

Today's sake from Hitachinokuni, Morishima Sake Brewery to the mountains. I bought some sake from a brewery nestled in the bosom of the Juoh Plateau (Abukuma Highlands). I bought it, and it is only distributed in Ibaraki Prefecture. It seems to be distributed only in Ibaraki Prefecture. The sake is labeled as having a Sake degree of ➕2 and a Sake Sei of 15-16°. Slightly ethylated, with a slight ethyl smell. Not an unpleasant smell at all. When you drink it, it tastes a little like a sake yeast. But it goes in as easily as water. Is it beautifully delicious? The aroma is fruity, the sweetness and the umami of the rice are both strong, but the slight bitterness and the dryness of the alcohol in the latter half bring them together nicely, so it goes well with meals and is of course delicious on its own. It goes well with sashimi and chicken tataki.

Just by the echoes of the Nebuta, there is also a please-sake, isn't there? I asked him to do so, but he ignored all my requests. So I drank the Momokawa nebuta in loneliness. This Sake is a nice change from what I have been drinking recently. It has a sugary sweetness similar to a ripe muscat. There is a Medium mouth feel followed by a slight dryness at the finish for a clean aftertaste. Delicious. 😋
It is refreshing and easy to drink. The menu said it was dry, but I only felt a slight spiciness in the aftertaste. We were about to eat fried food, so it was a perfect pairing 😆.
