The 9th Traveling SAKE (1)
This year, we were in Nagano Prefecture and pushed for Kuroemon XVI. Last year it was Sawahime 😊.
Like last year, I went around with Nemuchi 😁.
We started with our first Alps Masamune.
We drank
Junmai Ginjyo Nama-nihonjyu Miyamanishiki
It's good but the sweetness is a bit too much.
Junmai Namae Nishiki
It is sweet and delicious, and I like it very much. Nemuchi had the same impression.
We both bought it 😁.
Junmai sake stored in a windhole
A little spicy, but easy to drink with a smooth taste.
It is a little spicy but easy to drink with a mellow feeling.
Junmai Junmai Namaeshiki
This is a fire-aged version of the nama sake. It is calmer and easier to drink than the raw version. Muscat flavor.
Junmai Ginjyo Yamae-Nishiki Go-Cho
Polishing ratio of 50%. Slightly sweeter and richer in taste.
Kame-no-ye Daiginjo Yamadanishiki
A delicious sake with a gorgeous sweet flavor. I think I said to the brewer, "With this taste and these specs, it should be good for about 5,000 yen. I think I told the brewer that it should be about 5,000 yen for this taste and specs. I think I told the brewer that it was watered down.
Kame-no-ye Daiginjo-Doubottori Shizuku
Yamadanishiki produced in Matsumoto. It is said that this one is a once-heated sake. It has a thicker flavor than the previous daiginjo and is very tasty.
I asked about the distributor, and it seems that Takimoto Sake Shop in Ikeda City carries it. I would like to visit there once as they also seem to carry a Nagano sake called Shigaizumi.
Transparent with a slight yellowish tinge. The complex aroma is a combination of a full rice aroma, a fragrance reminiscent of hatako (sticky rice flour), an aroma reminiscent of black tea, and a faint floral aroma. The aroma is strong. It has a sweet and sour mouthfeel. The aroma is sweet and sour on the palate, with hints of black tea. The mouthfeel is rich with a strong astringent taste. The bitterness derived from alcohol also appears. The aftertaste is medium. It is a mellow sake.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival.
It has a nice tropical fruit-like sweetness and flavor with a tangy, slightly effervescent taste. Finishes with bitterness.
I've rarely had Harada, but I'd like to try more.
Even after a few days, it still has a gaseous taste, but the bitterness is more pronounced than when it is freshly opened.
On this day, September 14, 🐯 had a thing for the first time in 18 years, so I opened a slightly better one. Purchased at the Hankyu Sake Brewer's Festival.
It was the first brewery in Japan to produce a draft sake.
The first brewery to produce sparkling sake in Japan.
The originator of hiyaoroshi.
The oldest existing brewery.
I was a little nervous at the tasting because of all the great things about this brewery.
The overall price was high, so I hesitated between a sparkling wine and Yamamotozakura. It made a good impression on me at the tasting.
It has a complex aroma of lychee, nuts, and lemon. There are still many other aromas and it's really complex.
Fruity, clean and refreshing. The aftertaste is quite dry. The alcohol is also strong. The nuttiness lingers in the aftertaste for a long time.
It is a one-of-a-kind sake that I can't think of any other sake that tastes like it.
It tastes better after 4-5 days than freshly opened.
The aroma is also becoming more apple-like.
It also has a chocolate-like nuance.
Well, my vocabulary can't accurately describe the taste of this sake 💦.
Good evening Mr. Manachy😃
Sudo san overall is very expensive so I was wondering about sparkling and decided to go here 😅every sake has a strong sense of uniqueness 😁.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewery Festival. The one that made a good impression at the tasting. It was gorgeous, a little gassy, and had a dense sweet flavor. I thought it was not very Shimane-like.
Recommended for those who like fruity, sweet, delicious, and juicy types.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival.
It has apple-like freshness with nutty and smoky nuances. Delicious, but spicier than when I tasted it.
It is said that 4-5 year old lots have a sake degree of +8, but I don't think it is that spicy.
When I drink it again, it seems to have a similar atmosphere to the tasting.
It also has a muscat-like taste.
The impression is quite different depending on the order of drinking.
If you drink it after drinking many things, it is spicy, and if you drink it first, it feels fruity and sweet.
I think there's a little bit of cemedine in there too.
Hi bouken 😃I see you bought a lot ❗I thought it was sweet when I tasted the cloudy one, but when I drank it at home, it wasn't sweet at all. I think it's because I drank Hebes liqueur first 😅I think it's nice today 🌞💃.
Hi pyonpyon 😃
I have a few bottles of sake from the brewery festival waiting to be posted 😁.
Is it tasting magic that I found it sweet in the tasting 🤣.
Maybe it's the order of drinking 🤔
I'm glad it wasn't ☔ today 🎸.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival.
Mellow rice flavor. Slightly dry but not too dry. It is delicious with some acidity.
Mellow umami? Mellow and dry? A kind of type.
It has a classical atmosphere, but I think it is more sweet than spicy.
Purchased at the Hankyu Kuramoto Festival.
I was afraid to open it because it was a crown type and foamy, but there was no problem. It was sour and had a strong rice taste. It has a bitter taste like a greefleur at the end.
It comes in a beer bottle, so you can easily drink it like beer on a hot day.
Good morning bouken 😃
I bought Rokune when I went on a liquor store tour with Bouken and Nemuchi 😊I imitated Bouken 😅it was delicious 😋I want to drink it again 😌.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉙
Koikawa is known for its heated sake.
As one would expect, they let us drink it warmed up, even though it was just a tasting 😊.
The sake we tasted was
Junmai Ginjo Kamejikohi
Junmai Daiginjo Beppin Snow Goddess
Junmai Daiginjo Gokozen
I think it was...
I've had Kamejiyohi a few times in the past when out for drinks, but this is definitely more of a warmed sake than a cold sake. The tasting was lukewarm, but the taste was warm and gentle.
I think that's the end of the brewery festival.
I may not remember or may not have taken any pictures.
After this, I forced Nemuchi to take me to the sake department in the basement, and we went to the basement of Hanshin as well, but we didn't find anything special, so we left.
-Postscript
I always thought I was drinking something after Koikawa, but according to Nemuchi's post, I think I was drinking Karahashi and Eikawa😅.
I don't have any other pictures, but it looks like they are drinking Nada Kiku too 🙄.
So I guess there are 32 breweries in total?
I have a faint memory of drinking it but I don't have a picture so I won't post it 🤣.
Hello bouken ☀☀☀☀!
Good job on completing the Kuramoto Festival post 😊👍29 Kura 😳‼️ you are awesome at drinking and writing ✨and forcing yourself to go around the Depa basement 🤣I wish I could have seen you and Nemuchi getting drunk and going around 🤣.
Good evening, bouken-san.
I was looking at ⁉️ to see how many breweries you visited at the brewery festival. 29 breweries is really great! And the reviews are great too✨
I would love to try the nigori from this brewery 😊.
Mr. Bouken.
Good evening.
Koikawa is a brand I often drink at the izakaya I go to, and I have only seen it at this izakaya. It is delicious when heated, and like bouken-san, I love it perfectly for winter warmed sake.
Hi Umaisan!
I don't even remember stopping by, and I got the answer later in Nemuchi's post 🤣I think there are a lot of people who avoid drinking alcohol here, so I hope a lot of people will try it 🤗.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉗
Sawahime-san made a good impression at the traveling SAKE festival in April.
The sake we tasted was
Peach-colored Junmai Nigori Sake
Yamahai Junmai Shin Jizake Manifesto
Junmai Gold
I'm sure they were all good, but I need to double-check.
I think Junmai Gold was a bit peculiar.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉖
Chiyomusubi has the image of having both the impression of Tottori sake and the fruity type of sake that is not like Tottori sake.
The sake we tasted was
CHIYOMUSUBI SORA
Slightly sparkling Junmai Ginjo Shuwatto Sora Nama
Both of them are sparkling, aren't they?
I think the Shuwatto Sora was delicious, so I'd like to try it again.
I told Nemuchi-san that I drank Shuwatto Nama at home before! But when I came home and looked at the picture I took, I realized that this is not the same one 🤣.
I think I mistook it for Izumo Fuji 🙄.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉕
I've always been curious about this fantastic waterfall, but I never had a chance to drink it.
Josen Gorgeous Nama Ippon
Meisuinokura Special Junmai
Umakarakuchi Junmai Ginjyo Nama Shu
Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
Junmai Sparkling Cloudy Sour
Daiginjo Oku-Mystery
Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake, which I often saw in department stores but passed over because of the price. I think I liked the taste.
I wanted to check the Cloudy Sour and unfiltered nama sake again at the Takashimaya event, but I forgot to drink it😅.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉔
It has been quite a while since the liquor store in my neighborhood stopped selling Minamikata.
I tasted the following
Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi
Junmai Ginjo Minakata
I don't remember either of them, but according to a past post about tasting hiyaoroshi, the first one was to my liking, but the second one was spicy in the second half. I think the one before was more fruity at the entrance. I don't know if it's the same now.
This brewery is also close to the station, but I wonder if they do direct sales.
I've never been to a brewery in Wakayama.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉓
Kondo Sake Brewery of Hanaheizakura.
We tasted
Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-Shu Yamadanishiki
Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Shizuku Ehime
Nigori raw sake
Craft Gin PACHI PACHI
Ehime Mikan de Sake
Kouji rice amazake
I have bought and drank Yamadanishiki Nama Sake at the past Kuramoto Festival with similar specs, but it is a little cheaper than that time.
It tastes more gorgeous than it did back then. The label also looks more sophisticated.
The only other thing I remember is that the craft gin was delicious😅.
Mr. Kondo, the president of the company, was very excited to be photographed.
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
You were a gobsmacked president and funny 😁.
I was very drunk around here so I might have said something but I don't remember 😅.
Hankyu Brewery Festival㉒
Taisetsukei, I think I see some fresh sake type, but I don't usually see fire-brewed sake.
I tasted the following
Akiaagari Junmai Ginjo
Junmai Ginjo Yamae Nishiki
Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu directly pumped from the tank
Junmai Nigori Sake
I don't remember the others...
Hankyu Brewery Festival21
Nishinomoto is a sake that you see but rarely have a chance to drink.
We tasted
Nishinomon Junmai Ginjyo Genjyo Aki-agari
Unzan Junmai-Ginjo-Harashu
Nishinomon Aki-agari was mellow, sweet and delicious.
If I had gone around in a different order, I would have bought it.
Good evening, bouken!
This was my first time at Nishinomon and it's delicious 🤣 I had a great time at ❣️ Autumn Agari, but then I was hit with the amazake and forgot all about it.
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
Nishinomon, I thought sorry I didn't go through it even though I usually come to Depa basement 😅.
Nagano sake is high level 😆.
Hankyu Kuramoto Festival⑳
We first met mother-of-pearl at the sake tour in the Kintetsu Department Store.
The sake we tasted was
Tennyo no Mai Junmai Ginjo
Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo
Special Junmai Nama-unjozo
The Tennyo no Mai had a nutty, aged taste.
I think the Junmai Ginjyo Nama-Nagaraju is more floral.
I don't remember much about it, so I'll try again...
Good evening, bouken 😃.
I can't read mother-of-pearl = Uzume 😅I googled it and found out it's also read Kanzashi with mother-of-pearl 😳 Sake is a good study of kanji and history 🤗.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 😃.
It's a difficult kanji to type in because I can't read it and don't know the normal reading 💦 I read "den" in raden, so I type in "den onna" to get it out 😅Kanji is very deep 😳
Hankyu Brewery Festival (1935)
Rashomon, which I drank only once before.
We tasted the following
Rashomon Junmai Daiginjyo Nama-Nagara Sake
Rashomon Ginjo Bottle-stored Unpasteurized
Rashomon Houou Ginjo Nama
Rashomon Junmai Daiginjo Bottle-stored Ruri
Rashomon Ryuju Junmai Daiginjo
Rashomon Junmai Daiginjo Nakadori Bottle-stored Genshu
The Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake is quite expensive, and is delicious as it should be. The Houou Ginjo-nama is a stable taste, although I have had a similar spec in the past. The label has changed, hasn't it?
I'm sure the high class was good too 🤔.
I'd like to visit this brewery since it's relatively close to JR Wakayama station. I don't know if they sell directly 🤔
