The 9th Traveling SAKE⑭
KUROEMON XVI, chosen as the cover of the flyer of this event
Some of the sakes were sold out, and they were replenished frequently.
We drank
Junmai Ginjo Miyamanishiki Champion Sake
It has a gentle sweetness and a good freshness.
Junmai Hitogokochi
A little spicy 🤔.
Yamahai Junmai Miyamanishiki 13
Low alcohol and gentle taste. It is a bit dry. It seems to be a little spicy 🤔●Junmai Hitogokkyo
Kisoji Sanwari Koji Junmai
Sweet, but tastes better cold or warmed than cold.
The 9th Traveling SAKE⑬.
The female toji, Takaten. The Toji's brother was here.
We drank
Junmai Ginjo
Kinmon 39 Junmai Daiginjo
It was delicious!
Kinmon 59 Junmai Dry
I don't think it was very spicy.
Junmai Dry
Surprisingly, this might be the best except on the rocks.
Rocks: Unblended sake
Tasted only because it was sold out.
It's like an "eye breaker", with a lot of gusto but with a sweetness. Looks even better on the rocks.
The 9th Traveling SAKE ⑫
Do you think people would understand the name "Toyoka" better than the name "Kamito"?
What did we drink?
Junmai Dry
As written, the sharpness is impressive.
Junmai Ginjo
The label is more luxurious than the price.
Junmai Ginjo PETILLANT
Sold out and tasted only. It is a sake designed to be stored in wine barrels. It was the sweetest and most delicious.
I heard it has a gaseous taste when it is freshly opened.
MIWATARI CONNECTION Junmai Ginjo RED
Stored in red wine barrels. It has a body like red wine.
I liked the taste a lot.
MIWATARI CONNECTION Junmai Ginjo WHITE
Stored in white wine barrels. It tasted spicier than the red wine.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (11)
Masumi is a major brewery among Nagano breweries. I've only had seasonal sake, so I drank a lot of different kinds.
I drank
Junmai Ginjo Shinju AKA
This was the sweetest and most delicious. Not like Yamahai.
They said they used Nagano yeast instead of No.7. Maybe R?
Junmai Ginjo URUSHIKURO KURO
Sparkling ORIGARAMI
Looks like Champagne. It's a crown type, so you have to drink it with more than one person.
Junmai Daiginjo Yamahana
These were unquestionably delicious!
Junmai Daiginjo Shichi-No.
Flagship type
In addition to the above
Junmai Ginjo HAKUMAI SHIRO
Junmai KAYA
I may have also drank 🤔
The 9th Traveling SAKE (10)
Mizuo is known to be delicious, but there are few special dealers, so there are few opportunities to buy it.
The brewer with an Afro like Toshinobu Kubota of yesteryear was there. I wondered if he was the son of the president.
We drank
Special Junmai Kinmon Nishiki
I've had raw sake in the past, but I feel the hi-ire version is spicier.
Junmai Ginjo Kinmon Nishiki
Ippiki
I thought this one should be heated.
Ichihachi Junmai Daiginjo
This is my favorite type of gorgeous sake.
The brewer told me that he likes fruity type 😅It seems to be an unorthodox type in this brewery.
The 9th traveling SAKE9
This is the brewery that revived Takananishiki.
They have been here for tasting and sales before, but I have never had it.
I drank the following
Junmai Haru Hitohira
A refreshing, slightly fragrant, spring-like sake!
Junmai Ginjo Sarukono-Izumi
This was quite tasty. The cup sake with a yuru-kyara label said this is what was inside. It's a cosy cup of sake.
Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjozo Oikan Shibori
I like it because it's quite sweet and tasty. I bought it 😊.
Honjozo Katsudo Nigori Sake Shiraki Tenryu
It's a very tight and shiny sake. It has sweetness, but I think it has a strong alcohol taste.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (8)
Kutsunokake Sake Brewery of Mutou. I thought they might not bring Mutou because it seemed to be for special dealers, but they did!
They came under the name of "Fuku Muhaku," but I think they had more products of Mutou.
I drank
Kakushidama Junmai Ginjyo Nama Sake Nagano R
There are many fruity sake with R yeast, but this one was quite spicy!
Osaesuage Junmai Ginjyo Nama Nama Sake Nagano C
This sake is made with Alps yeast. Not very impressive.
Junmai Ginjyo Nama-no-Genjo-Nihon Sake
I think it was pretty sweet and tasty.
Nakatsuku Junmai Ginjyo Usu Nigori Nama-genshu
Tasted only because it was sold out. I like this one the best when it's a reciprocal.
It seems to be the same product as the Relief we drank at home in the past.
Junmai-shu Tora Label
It seems to be an everyday evening sake.
Fukufuku Muhaku Daiginjo-nama sake Yamadanishiki Fukuro-hari
It's so good that it's expensive!
Sorry I didn't buy it while appealing to buy it 🙏.
I asked about the naming of the starters and suppressors, and they said it was the order of release.
I read it as "Arabashiri", "Nakatori", and "Yakusui", but I was wrong😅.
The 9th traveling SAKE (7)
The Kurosawa Sake Brewery was recently featured in Laughing at Koratte.
The name "Kurosawa" conjures up an image of a sake brewer.
The sake we drank was
All sake is made from the same sake brewing process.
Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-genshu
It has an acidity that is typical for a sake made from the "nama yeast" principle. It was quite spicy.
Junmai Ginjo Shikatsu (2019)
Junmai Hozumi
Not my favorite type.
I think this was the one that had the same cardboard-like boxy flavor that I had when I drank Shikishima.
Junmai Ginjo ㋣ Cornerstone Unfiltered Nama Sake
Junmai Shinryoku Nama-shu
It's low-alcohol, but I wonder if it's watered down. Easy to drink and powerful at the same time.
Junmai Daiginjo㋣SAKU1
Tokoro-san said this is what he was drinking.
Junmai Daiginjo Kinmon Nishiki
This is the only one that I felt gorgeous.
Overall, it was spicier than the Kurosawa we drank at home and out.
The common feeling among all the products was the acidity that is typical of the sake brewing process.
Good evening, bouken 😃.
I'm afraid I'm not talking about Kurosawa, but regarding the characteristic aroma of Shikishima, I once talked with Mr. Kawada of chuin about 🤔 that the smell of wood might have been transferred during koji making since a new koji room was built.
The 9th traveling SAKE⑥
Tachibanakura Shuzo, I have seen it several times in department stores, but this is the first time I have had it!
I drank
Amazake
I only tasted it because it was sold out. The taste and sweetness were strong and there were many grains of rice. It was like eating while drinking.
Mushinzo Hitogokochi Unfiltered Nama Sake
Gorgeous, but quite spicy.
Mushinzo Junmai Ginjo ORO
Mushinzo Junmai Ginjo ORO is made with flower yeast. I thought it was the most refreshing and easy-drinking type of sake I had.
Junmai Daiginjo Tachibana
A beautiful taste that does not remind one of its 3-year aging. Relatively sweet for a sake from this brewery.
Foamy junmai-shu Tamayura
Purchased because it was 300 ml.
Honjozo Barrel Sake
Among the many cask sake, the cask aroma was subdued and the sake flavor was stronger.
Overall, I got the impression that it was a dry sake brewery.
I've recommended a lot of Nagano sake 😅.
I've never seen Yokobue... 🙄.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (5)
There are only a few special sake stores, and only Tamago has ever had Imanishiki, so I tried a variety of sake 😋.
We drank
Junmai Ginjo Kinmon-Nishiki Nama-nara Sake
It is sweet and delicious, but more reserved than Miyamanishiki.
Nakagawa Village Tamako Special Junmai Namaishu
Slightly spicy, similar to the impression I had in the past.
Junmai Ginjo Miyamanishiki
The sweetest and most delicious of all the sake we tasted.
Junmai Ginjo Kinmon Nishiki
Junmai Ginjo Yamae Nishiki
Junmai Daiginjo
He said this was his top pick.
Nenrin Junmai Daiginjo
Fruity and even better than the previous junmai daiginjo.
HAKUMEI Junmai Sake
Low alcohol. It was sweet and sour.
Umeshu (plum wine)
Naturally sweet and tasty, but could be a little richer.
The only place I know of that carries it is Hinodeya Sake Shop in Incheon, but they carry both Kinmame and Mizuo 🤔.
I think the toji of Raku no Se used to be at Imanishiki, right? They brew totally different sake!
Good morning, bouken ☀.
It's good to have a variety of rare sake 😃.
I didn't know that the liquor store in Incheon sells Kim Kame: ❗️
Thanks for the good information 🙏 For now, I'll go there to buy it this month 🤣.
Good morning, Robin.
I've bought it before, so it's definitely available, but some people couldn't buy it, so I guess it's not always available 😅.
I see you are going to the kurabiraki 😍you can drink from 20 to 100 😁.
The 9th Traveling SAKE④.
This one also has a good impression on me personally, before dawn.
I have never had a fire-brewed sake before, so I will take this opportunity 😁.
I drank
Special Honjozo Tatsunogin
I thought Tatsunogin was the name of rice, but apparently it's because the brewery is located in Tatsuno-cho😅Fruity and refreshing, it's hard to believe it's a honjozo. It's a shocking taste 😳.
Junmai Ginjo Kinmon Nishiki
This one is also quite gorgeous and sweet.
Junmai Kinumoka
It is said to be dry, but I didn't feel it was that dry.
I guess it's a food sake type.
Junmai Ginjo Nama Ippon Shizukudori Nama Sake
Slightly refreshing, sweet and fruity. It has the same 🍍feel as when I drank it in the past.
Junmai Ginjo Nama Ippon
I think they were all delicious before dawn.
Daiginjo 2023 Trophy-winning sake
Not at a price you can afford, but very gorgeous and delicious!
Junmai Daiginjo Yamada Nishiki
Another gorgeous sake. A good sake to drink on New Year's Day.
Daiginjo Seikan Brewing
It was said to be watered down to 50% polished. It's usually delicious, but the order in which you drink it... 😅
The founder of Yodobashi was a brewer at Yodobashi and they sell all kinds of sake because of that connection 😳They also sell a lot of Nagano sake because they are from Nagano.
The brewer was really into the Tenzan t-shirt Nemuchi-san was wearing 😁So there is that kind of connection too 😆.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (3)
I bought a bottle of nama-shu at a local liquor store and was shocked at the taste, Nanashira, and since I have never had fire-aged sake except hiyaoroshi, I was curious about the standard sake and so on.
I drank
Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
I drank this at a local liquor store and it was so delicious that I unusually bought it on repeat. It was as good as ever. Many people who tasted it bought it and went home. Nemuchi-san was also happy with it 😁.
Kiso Yoshinaka Junmai Ginjo Light
This sake is brewed under a certain theme every year. This year it seems to be low-alcohol. It is a gentle and easy-drinking sake.
Junmai Ginjo
Quite fruity and sweet. I like it a lot.
Kiso Miyamanishiki Junmai
Mild but floral type
Junmai
A type of sake that you never get tired of drinking. I thought it was great that this was a standard sake.
Daiginjo Ginka
I think they said it was good. Almost all of this class are good!
Overall, I have a good impression of its sweet taste. It would be good if they handled more of it.
The member stores of Meimon Sake Kai only handle it on a spot basis, and there is no sales channel in Kansai 😅.
Good evening, bouken!
I also bought the unfiltered raw sake that I liked the best when I visited the brewery! It's delicious 😻The brewery recommends something called Kurakakushi and it's delicious at a price you can afford. ❣️
Good morning, Pon-chan ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Well, you used to drink it 😋.
I've seen the official website! I see it's the same design and different colors 😍I think I can buy it online so I'll pop it in 🤔.
Last year from June to the end of December Nagano Prefecture was running a free shipping campaign and they sent us a single 300ml bottle for free 😊I don't know if they did all the breweries but I think they did quite a few 🤔.
It's a real shame it's over now 🥹.
I didn't know that other breweries in Nagano were also offering free shipping 😳 I had no idea 💦 I had a chance to get some sake that I can't buy over here 😭.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (2)
Wagyo Shuzo, which changed its name from Shokame Shuzo due to various reasons, and the brother of the master brewer visited us.
The brewer's brother came to the brewery.
We drank
Unfiltered raw sake
Normal sake. It had a grape-like taste. Gattun type.
I think this one is my favorite among all the ones I drank.
Junmai Unfiltered Nama-genshu
This is also a heavy type, but it didn't leave much impression...
Yoshimura Junmai Daiginjo
I thought it was modern among the sake breweries here. I thought so.
I asked about the origin of Yoshimura and was told it was the name of the president of a group company😅.
Daiginjo
It's an expensive sake, but I felt a little uncomfortable with the taste.
Junmai Ginjo
It's gorgeous and sweeter than the other ones I've had, but 🤔.
The flavor was a little strange too.
Junmai sake
I think it was the easiest to drink.
It has nothing to do with this brewery, but when I drank Alps Masamune, I realized once again that I prefer daiginjo with alcohol rather than jun-dai.
The 9th Traveling SAKE (1)
This year, we were in Nagano Prefecture and pushed for Kuroemon XVI. Last year it was Sawahime 😊.
Like last year, I went around with Nemuchi 😁.
We started with our first Alps Masamune.
We drank
Junmai Ginjyo Nama-nihonjyu Miyamanishiki
It's good but the sweetness is a bit too much.
Junmai Namae Nishiki
It is sweet and delicious, and I like it very much. Nemuchi had the same impression.
We both bought it 😁.
Junmai sake stored in a windhole
A little spicy, but easy to drink with a smooth taste.
It is a little spicy but easy to drink with a mellow feeling.
Junmai Junmai Namaeshiki
This is a fire-aged version of the nama sake. It is calmer and easier to drink than the raw version. Muscat flavor.
Junmai Ginjyo Yamae-Nishiki Go-Cho
Polishing ratio of 50%. Slightly sweeter and richer in taste.
Kame-no-ye Daiginjo Yamadanishiki
A delicious sake with a gorgeous sweet flavor. I think I said to the brewer, "With this taste and these specs, it should be good for about 5,000 yen. I think I told the brewer that it should be about 5,000 yen for this taste and specs. I think I told the brewer that it was watered down.
Kame-no-ye Daiginjo-Doubottori Shizuku
Yamadanishiki produced in Matsumoto. It is said that this one is a once-heated sake. It has a thicker flavor than the previous daiginjo and is very tasty.
I asked about the distributor, and it seems that Takimoto Sake Shop in Ikeda City carries it. I would like to visit there once as they also seem to carry a Nagano sake called Shigaizumi.
Transparent with a slight yellowish tinge. The complex aroma is a combination of a full rice aroma, a fragrance reminiscent of hatako (sticky rice flour), an aroma reminiscent of black tea, and a faint floral aroma. The aroma is strong. It has a sweet and sour mouthfeel. The aroma is sweet and sour on the palate, with hints of black tea. The mouthfeel is rich with a strong astringent taste. The bitterness derived from alcohol also appears. The aftertaste is medium. It is a mellow sake.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival.
It has a nice tropical fruit-like sweetness and flavor with a tangy, slightly effervescent taste. Finishes with bitterness.
I've rarely had Harada, but I'd like to try more.
Even after a few days, it still has a gaseous taste, but the bitterness is more pronounced than when it is freshly opened.
On this day, September 14, 🐯 had a thing for the first time in 18 years, so I opened a slightly better one. Purchased at the Hankyu Sake Brewer's Festival.
It was the first brewery in Japan to produce a draft sake.
The first brewery to produce sparkling sake in Japan.
The originator of hiyaoroshi.
The oldest existing brewery.
I was a little nervous at the tasting because of all the great things about this brewery.
The overall price was high, so I hesitated between a sparkling wine and Yamamotozakura. It made a good impression on me at the tasting.
It has a complex aroma of lychee, nuts, and lemon. There are still many other aromas and it's really complex.
Fruity, clean and refreshing. The aftertaste is quite dry. The alcohol is also strong. The nuttiness lingers in the aftertaste for a long time.
It is a one-of-a-kind sake that I can't think of any other sake that tastes like it.
It tastes better after 4-5 days than freshly opened.
The aroma is also becoming more apple-like.
It also has a chocolate-like nuance.
Well, my vocabulary can't accurately describe the taste of this sake 💦.
Good evening Mr. Manachy😃
Sudo san overall is very expensive so I was wondering about sparkling and decided to go here 😅every sake has a strong sense of uniqueness 😁.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewery Festival. The one that made a good impression at the tasting. It was gorgeous, a little gassy, and had a dense sweet flavor. I thought it was not very Shimane-like.
Recommended for those who like fruity, sweet, delicious, and juicy types.
Purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival.
It has apple-like freshness with nutty and smoky nuances. Delicious, but spicier than when I tasted it.
It is said that 4-5 year old lots have a sake degree of +8, but I don't think it is that spicy.
When I drink it again, it seems to have a similar atmosphere to the tasting.
It also has a muscat-like taste.
The impression is quite different depending on the order of drinking.
If you drink it after drinking many things, it is spicy, and if you drink it first, it feels fruity and sweet.
I think there's a little bit of cemedine in there too.
Hi bouken 😃I see you bought a lot ❗I thought it was sweet when I tasted the cloudy one, but when I drank it at home, it wasn't sweet at all. I think it's because I drank Hebes liqueur first 😅I think it's nice today 🌞💃.
Hi pyonpyon 😃
I have a few bottles of sake from the brewery festival waiting to be posted 😁.
Is it tasting magic that I found it sweet in the tasting 🤣.
Maybe it's the order of drinking 🤔
I'm glad it wasn't ☔ today 🎸.
