HOSUI SHUZO
HOSUI Daiginjo
This brewery is located in Igawa-cho, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture.
The rice is polished to 40% Yamadanishiki produced in Hyogo Prefecture.
Refreshing aroma, soft rice flavor
The overall balance is good, and it has a crisp finish.
Well-balanced and crisp aftertaste.
#Japanese Sake
It has the freshness that only new sake can have 😁.
It's alu-sweetened, so it's refreshing ☝️
But the alcohol content is high at 20 degrees because it's a pure sake 😆.
But it's easy to drink so I drink it 😁.
This is intoxicating 😊.
Hello again, Kano-san.
I remember drinking Yoshimizu at a sushi restaurant I used to go to a few years ago: ⤴️
It was so good that it made my sake go up 😅.
I haven't had it in a while 😊.
I went to Tokushima City via Awaji Island to celebrate the day before my wife's birthday.
Since we came here at an opportune moment, we had a chance to try Tokushima's local sake.
I have been drinking only junmai sake recently, but this is the first honjozo sake I have had in a long time.
It has a sweet and delicious taste with a slight aftertaste.
Fried scallops were served with it.
Good evening, soumacho.
Happy birthday eve to your wife 🎉.
I used to get Yoshimizu about 10 years ago at a local sushi restaurant 🍣.
I remember it went well with the meal 🎵
Enjoy Kochi tomorrow 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki-.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I have not had much luck with Tokushima sake,
The full swing and clean aftertaste of Hosui was new to me personally.
I've only recently become swamped with sake, so I feel like I'm missing out 😵.
I drank a local Tokushima sake, Hosui!
It has a clear, clean, slightly melon-like taste, with a great balance of acidity, sweetness, and flavor, and is extremely delicious!
It's no surprise, but I was surprised that the taste was completely different from the honjozo sake my grandfather often drank!
First time writing from outside only
Late summer vacation in Tokushima
Ginjo aroma is not so long
Soft and dry
Refreshing and soft
As for snacks, fried food, sashimi, yubiki (boiled fish)...
It goes well with any kind of food.
A perfect sake for a mid-meal drink without being overbearing.
8 points (wife: 8 points)
Alcohol content : 18.5
Sake meter : 5.3
Acidity: 1.7
Amino Acid : 0.9
Rice Polishing Ratio : 60
Rice used: Okayama Omachi
Purchased from: Watanabe Sake Shop
Shu when opened
Almost no gas
Slight banana and melon-like top notes
The same subdued aroma, gentle sweetness and firm rice flavor spreads with a crisp acidity, and the wine finishes with a moderate bitterness and a little alcohol spiciness.
It is not too spicy for its alcohol content and goes well with a meal or on its own.
It goes well with cornbread and bean bread from Biei Seisenkatsu.
