Easy to drink with a fruity aroma, refreshing acidity and sweetness. It was served in a wine glass because it was tagged as a 2022 gold medal winner of the Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Award. We received a set of one Hiramasa block, Kama and Ara from Kinko Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, so we had it with sashimi and Ara miso soup. The miso soup with the ara was too good, but the bone got stuck in my throat and I was in a hurry 💦. I'm glad I got it safely. ☺️ Polishing ratio 58 Alcohol content 16%. This is a comparison with Haneya's representative brand "Kirabi". The ratio of polished rice is 60% for "Kirabi" and 50% for "Tsubasa". Both rice is Gohyakumangoku produced in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. The aroma is apple-like, and the sake has a clear, fruity taste and umami flavor. Personally, I preferred the Junmai Ginjo "Korohi". ☺️ We paired it with fresh kanpachi sashimi and grilled kanpachi kama (kama is a fish that is grilled with salt) from Kagoshima's Kinko Town, which was landed yesterday. Too delicious.

Haneya's Junmai Ginjo and Junmai Daiginjo Drinking Comparison Set. The first hometown tax return this year also started with junmai sake. According to today's Nikkei Plus 1, while overall sake shipments are down to less than one-third of what they were in the mid-1990s, due in part to young people's shift away from sake, shipments of high-quality junmai sake have increased by more than 20% and are holding steady. I, too, have fallen for the allure of junmai sake. The freshness of this sake, made possible by the fact that it is a seasonal brewery, has a fruity aroma and tastes fresh and sweet, making it easy to drink and delicious 💕. It was served with mackerel simmered in miso and bamboo shoot rice. Rice: Gohyakumangoku produced in Toyama Prefecture Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 16%. Although out of season, autumn dragonflies. Not much aroma, but fruity sweetness and clean, light dry taste. It is easy to drink and delicious. It is best served cold (room temperature) or cold (hanayaka). The second drink was a sake cocktail called "Ponchu Greer," made with Amaou strawberries. Pour the sake into a bottle filled with Japanese dried fruit and beet sugar, etc., and stir until the hackberry sugar dissolves to create a sweet, fruity sake cocktail. It is a delicious sake version of sangria. Rice used: 100% Raku-fu-mai produced in Kanagawa Prefecture Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 16 300㎖ ¥750 excluding tax

I was curious about Koei Kiku Snow Crescent 100% Yamadanishiki after seeing it here. The store owner said it was slightly dry, and I was torn between Aizan's crown gold and silver light nigorigo, so I bought this one. I was afraid the lid was going to fly off, so I asked him to open it, but was surprised to hear a pop💦. The lees went up inside the bottle and looked like a beautiful snow scene. Delicious with citrusy acidity, bitterness, and a grapefruit-like shriek ☺️💕. Day 2. When I open the cork, it's poncy and energetic again. Juicy bitterness like grapefruit, not sweet, tasty today too. Yesterday I had it with grilled salmon and today with fried chicken in sauce, it goes well with both 😊. Rice: 100% Yamadanishiki Alcohol content 15 720㎖ ¥1,875 excluding tax

I received this product as a hometown tax payment. This nigori sake tastes like non-alcoholic amazake and like makgeolli. It is said to be a low-alcohol sake created by using three times as much koji. With 6% alcohol content, it is easy to drink. It says it goes well with meat dishes, but today we had it with mirin-marinated silver fillet and simmered pumpkin.

This sake is carefully and carefully brewed with only rice, rice malt, and water. I prefer it at about 50℃. I guess you can't get much sake from the Kanto region, because this was all they had when I went to buy it, but on a cold day like today, it was good👍. It went well with the chicken steak we had for dinner and the "Japanese style duck ajigyo" we had. Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15.5 720㎖ ¥1,705

Last week, after HAMA BAR, I went for a stroll along the sake brewery street. I stopped by for Nabeshima, and the store owner recommended tasting Toichi and Tocho, both of which were delicious, but as originally planned, I bought Nabeshima, which I had never had before. A man was showing a couple of guests around, and he was the president of Nabeshima. He was introducing this store's kasuzuke to the guests staying at the Auberge☺️. Definitely delicious with a fruity pear-like aroma, refreshing sweetness and sourness, and a sharp taste💕. Iimori Shuzo 720㎖ ¥1,650

HAMA BAR②. The second drink of the five-drink comparison is this one, which is written as "Laughing Sake" and reads as "Egushi". It is made from 100% Yamada-Nishiki rice grown under contract with local farmers. The aroma was not very pleasant, but it was rich, mellow, slightly dry, and well balanced. This HAMABAR is located in a station where trains rarely pass, but when he saw me drinking it, he asked me to have one too. He said he missed the train (the timetable of conventional lines had changed after the opening of the Shinkansen bullet train on 9/23) and had to kill two hours by touring sake breweries. I laughed 🤭 because there was only laughing sake.

HAMA BAR① We went to the sake bar at Hizenhama Station in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture. Ordered a set of 5 kinds of autumn sake to compare. The first drink was the Autumn Sake from the Koisuru Series, a seasonal product of Amabuki. I had tried Amabuki before and enjoyed it, but this was my first time drinking their autumn sake. It was brewed during the coldest part of the year and spent half a year in the brewery. The aroma is pear-like, the rice flavor is strong, and the refreshing acidity makes it easy to drink and delicious.

I went to the "Hakata Tenjin Rakugo Festival" again this year. On my way home, I bought this bottle. It is just the right size as I cannot drink a lot. We paired it with fried sardines with tatsuta-age and miso soup with lots of vegetables. Category [modern light Alcohol content 15 Rice: 100% Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 39 180㎖ ¥660

This is the third glass of the comparison. The umami taste of rice spreads in the mouth, and although it is dry, it is easy to drink and has a deep flavor. It is served with torikawa (chicken skin) with sweet sauce, anago (conger eel) fries, refined motsu-ni (simmered fish entrails), and sagari (fish cake).
