I visited a sake gathering event and was allowed to taste and purchase some sake. It is a bit precious because there are no distributors in the area where I live 😆. The aroma is mildly fruity. The mouthfeel is slightly fruity to malty and mellow, followed by a light bitterness that tingles the tongue and leaves a firm lingering taste on the nose. The description says it has a unique and addictive mellow flavor, and that is exactly what it tastes like. It is the kind of sake that makes you want another and another.

The wife's favorite spring sake of the season. Before the cherry blossoms fell, we enjoyed a toast with the wife at a nearby park while watching the cherry blossoms at night. The fruity aroma was followed by a good amount of gas in the mouth, and the fruity flavor and good acidity went down smoothly with little lingering aftertaste. It is very easy to drink and delicious. ⭕️ Banshu Issen had a sharp sharpness when I had the autumn sake, which was also good, but I really like this one too 🌸.

We went to Choryu Brew Park in Nara Prefecture for cherry blossom viewing. We had a bottle of "Sakurabito," which is sold only at the brewpark and not in bottles. It was fruity and sweet, with just the right amount of acidity and a refreshing taste that was easy to drink and could be enjoyed over and over again. It tastes like it would be a popular product if it were sold in bottles. The acidity blended well with strawberries, and the flavor was enhanced when served with strawberries. 桜も見頃を迎え始めたので、こちらのお酒を開栓。 春鹿さんの試飲会を百貨店でされていて、その中からこちらを購入。 「ナラノヤエザクラ酵母」を使用しているとの事。 香りはワインのような華やかな香り。 口に含んだ瞬間から広がるリンゴのような酸味とフルーティーな香りが鼻に抜けていってスッとした喉越し。 ワインのような味わいでいながらもちゃんと日本酒の余韻が見事。 しっかりとした味わいなので、明るい時間に見る桜より、夜桜に合わせてしっほり飲みたいお酒かな🌸

Spring Sake Series #6. I found it at a supermarket and bought it because it was reasonably priced. Momogawa seems to have different brands for different tastes. Momogawa" has a full-bodied flavor, "Nebuta" has a sharpness, and "Sugitama" has an umami flavor. The aroma is melon-like and melon-like. The palate has a gentle sweetness, followed by a strong umami, and finally a lingering sourness and moderate bitterness. It is surprising to be able to drink this flavor for about 1,100 yen. As the description says, it has a refreshing aftertaste, which makes it easy to drink. I think it would go well with rape blossoms.

The mouthfeel is gentle and smooth, and the umami flavor comes through quickly. The aftertaste is moderately sour and goes down the throat gently, and the aftertaste is gentle and soft. The bitter taste of the rape blossoms complemented the sake's umami, making it a perfect match. The label is cute and the taste is gentle, so I would recommend it to sake beginners.

I wanted to pair yakitori with sake, so I searched for a sake and yakitori restaurant in my neighborhood, found one that looked good, and came to visit. I bought this bottle on a hunch that it would be delicious, when I spotted it at a liquor store. The manufacturer seems to have changed its name to "Sakurao Brewery and Distillery" now. The aroma is fruity, like pineapple. The palate is smooth and smooth, with a slight sweetness, followed by a light spread of rice flavor and a gentle bitterness on the back end. It is very easy to drink, with a lingering aftertaste that leaves a strong aftertaste deep in the nose. Overall, this sake is very gentle and easy to drink. This is the third in the series of spring sake for the wife. We fell in love with the label and decided immediately after tasting it. The aroma is slightly pear-like. The mouthfeel has a slight gasiness with a sweetness that comes in gently, followed by an umami taste that spreads in the mouth. It goes down the throat gently but crisply, leaving a subtle aftertaste. Overall, I have the impression that many of the spring sakes are gentle. It seems that there are many spring sakes that match the wife's tastes, and the series will continue for a while 🌸.
