My first brand - Butika. It was recommended by a liquor store as a brewery that should do well in the future, so I bought it. When I poured it into a glass, the aroma was so fruity! When I tried it, it was just as fruity as the aroma, with a gentle, sweet and sour taste like La France. It was a delicious sake that made me think I'd like to try it if there were different specifications.

I drank a lot of Eikoh Fuji last year, so I refrained from drinking it this year, but I found one that I hadn't drunk last year, so I bought it. By the way, they seem to ship it only once a year. I knew it was going to be good, but it was delicious. It has a light mouthfeel, a gentle sweetness like a fruit juice, and a sour aftertaste. If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I would open a bottle.

My second summer sake of the year is Kido - Summer Gale. I already know it's good and cheap, so I can drink it with confidence. The aroma is subdued, the taste is sweet and refreshing with a good amount of sourness. It's easy to drink and perfect for a hot day. I drink it after taking a bath and it's great.

I drank it last year and enjoyed it, so I got it again this year! The sweetness is rather moderate, with a little sourness. A little sourness. The aftertaste is a bit astringent, but that's okay. If you leave it for a few days, it will settle down a bit and your impression will change. It's a good enough sake, but we're expecting more in a few days! A day after I opened it, the unpleasant aftertaste was gone, and it was a mature ramune!

The memorable 100th check-in was with this drink. It's a delicious one that requires no explanation. You want to see her, but you can't quite see her, you don't see her for a while, and then she pops up when you've forgotten about her, and you're chasing after her forever. It's the kind of sake that can make you fall in love with it. I think I felt a little more sweetness before, but maybe it's because of my health? In any case, it was a delicious sake. I'll be happy if I can welcome the 200th check-in while enjoying another delicious sake!

In the "Let's attack sake from Western Japan" section, today we have Hyakurakumon from Nara. When you pour it into a glass, you can already smell the delicious aroma. When you drink it, you can feel the tingling of gas and the perfect balance of sweetness and sourness. The sweetness and acidity are well balanced. It's a delicious sake. Hyakurakumon was my first brand, but Trying new brands is one of the best parts of sake.

I bought a bottle of my all-time favorite, Sasama Samune's Gohyakumangoku, because it was on sale. The sake shop also recommended it for its high level of perfection. When I drank it. It has a gentle sweetness that is typical of Sasamasamune, and when you think the aftertaste has been cut off, you feel a slight bitterness. You can feel the good points of Sasamasamune and Gohyakumangoku, the sake rice. It was another delicious sake today.

In our series on drinking sake from Western Japan, this time we're looking at Shiga's Laoshiki. I found it at the first liquor store I went to, so I bought it. The brewery release date was December last year, so it seems to be unsold. The rice polishing ratio is 50%, so there is no miscellaneous taste, and it is clean and smooth to drink. The aftertaste has a faint aroma of lychee and La France, and the lingering is short and reserved. It was a delicious sake.

I bought this glorious Fuji Aisan again this year. It's very sweet, but has a slight sourness to it, so it doesn't have a sticky aftertaste and is rather refreshing. Eikoh Fuji releases many different kinds of sake throughout the year, so I never get bored.

It's been a long time since I've had this sake. I've never had Dewa Sanzu before, so I jumped at the chance! I knew what to expect, but it was even sweeter and juicier than I expected, with a special taste like drinking only fruit juice. There is not a single unpleasant part, and the finish is so clean and beautiful that it made me reaffirm that katsufuda sake is delicious.

This is a sake from Fukushima Prefecture, following on from Sharaku. I was curious about it after reading your post, and I was able to buy it just in time. I poured it into a wine glass and smelled the aroma... wheat? It smells a bit like freshly baked bread. I don't know if it tastes like melon, but it's like a sweet white wine. I'm sure some people will like it, but it's not for me. Too bad.

Even though I've already had several bottles, I can't help but buy Sharaku whenever I see it at the liquor store. If you want to drink it again and again, it must be a really good sake! The aroma has what is often called a melon or banana feel to it. The taste is refreshing without being too swollen, and there is a bit of astringency in the aftertaste. I had the impression that it was a little sweeter, but maybe it was just my imagination? I can't say for sure, because I guess it depends on your physical condition and the weather. Anyway, there is no doubt that it is delicious.

Today was the end of a two-day rest day. I was tired from working late and wanted to go home, but I didn't have any sake in stock, so I dragged my heavy body to the liquor store. I was hoping for the Eiko Fuji Aizan, but it wasn't in stock yet. I bought a different spec of Rokune, which I had drunk before and enjoyed. It's a Junmai Ginjo, and the rice is 100% Gintori Hat, a sake rice from Aomori Prefecture. I wonder if they are conscious of the overseas market with the English notation. What is the important taste? The first taste is a gorgeous sweetness, and the aftertaste is clear and bitter. Personally, I may be mistaken, but I feel the atmosphere of the special junmai of Tasake for a moment. Either way, it is a delicious sake.

Today we're going to take a look at a sake from western Japan that we tend to forget. Our first sake from Kochi Prefecture is Katsurazuki. It has a strong rice flavor, and is a very drinkable sake that feels like Kochi. It has a sake meter of +11, so it's definitely dry, but it's not unpleasantly dry. There was also a Junmai Ginjo with a different specification, so it was a satisfying bottle that made me want to try that as well.

I was recommended this Koimari from Saga Prefecture at a liquor store. I had a shocking incident at work, so I opened it without thinking about it, but I forgot it was an active nigori. It didn't blow up, but when I poured it into a glass, it was like carbonated water, with a refreshing sweetness and bitterness that was pleasant and delicious. It is a little expensive at ¥2,200 (tax included), but it is worth drinking.

The cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully, so we'll use this sake today. First, let's try the top clear water. The sourness is noticeable, but it is delicious like Senkou. The second sip is mixed with ori. It adds sweetness and fullness to the taste, making it even more delicious. This sourness is so addictive that I can't help but buy it when it comes out in season. The label is also cute and I recommend it!

Today, I bought this Kyoheiji at Takashimaya. I can't think of an analogy, but the aroma is very good. The taste is typical Omachi rice flavor and a little acidity. It seems to be good with western food like white wine. I would prefer it to have a little more body, but it was a delicious sake.

I hadn't drunk Shichiken before, but I saw a good one on sale at Yokohama Takashimaya, so I bought it. I usually drink only Junmai, but this one is Honjozo. When I drank it, I found that it was a very tasty sake, with a good amount of umami, and a sweet aftertaste. I've been avoiding it until now, but I'm impressed that they can make such a good sake from honjozo. By the way, the price is as low as 1,100 yen. I'll be keeping an eye on Shichiken in the future.

I'm in Hokkaido on a business trip from today, somewhere between Sapporo and Otaru. I got a bottle of sake at Seiyu near the hotel and drank it in my room. I think I expected a little too much... I'm sorry. I don't know how good it is. Well, it was cheap. I think it was 1,190 yen for a bottle. Too bad.

This was my first Yonetsuru, recommended to me by a sake shop. I had a selfish image of it being Yamagata, Junmai Ginjo, unfiltered, raw, and the rice being Dewa Sanzano, so I thought it would be sweet. It's a rather crisp, slightly dry type with a fresh, fruity feel. It's good to drink by itself, but it's even better with a meal. On the label, it also says what food it goes well with. You can feel the spirit of the brewer who wants you to enjoy it. It was a delicious sake that I would like to buy again for different occasions.
