Today, we have a drink from Tohoku. It's been 10 years since that day. I was worried even when I was in Kanto, but when I think about Tohoku, my heart hurts to know how hard it was. The atmosphere is still depressing due to the Corona disaster, but I hope that the country of Japan will be filled with happiness. As for the taste of the sake, the moment you put it in your mouth, it has a gentle sweetness that spreads to your mouth, and after that, it's smooth. From the beginning to the end, there is no unpleasant part at all, and it is really beautiful sake. After all, sake from Tohoku is delicious. There is no barcode, which is simple and I like it.

Miraculously, we were able to buy it! Denshu. I'd been watching the liquor store for information on what was in stock, but I couldn't get there, and after a few days I thought to myself that it was probably gone. So I just took the Akatake I drank last time to the liquor store cashier, and the lady said "We have some Tasake, would you like some? I'm sorry if I sound like a pushy salesman, but if you don't mind. Of course I would buy it. It's always sold out immediately, but I didn't know this was possible. The rice is 100% Hanamuki. There is no doubt about the taste, but when you drink it, the balance of the sweetness in your mouth, the deliciousness of the rice, and the understated astringency that comes slowly in the aftertaste is the best, and it is a delicious sake that you will never get tired of drinking. By the way, I drank some yesterday, but I couldn't taste it at all because of my hay fever, and it was indeed a waste, so I stopped immediately.

I found it at a liquor store I dropped by without any reason, so I bought it. It is a sake that is sure to be delicious, but when I tried it It's a low ale of 12 degrees, so it's light and easy to drink. It's like drinking a sweet and sour juice like cherries. Recently, I've decided to attack sake from western Japan as much as possible, and this time it's Amago no Tsuki from Hiroshima. It is a Junmai Daiginjo made from Omachi, so it has the powerful feeling of Omachi, but also has a gorgeous taste. It's a delicious sake. I'm sad to say that it's hard to smell the aroma of this sake because my nose is ruined by hay fever.

This is my first brand, [Sei] from Gunma. It is said to use Gunma's sake rice called Wakamizu. It has a green apple aroma with a strong gassy aftertaste and a slight astringency. I think it is a good sake for beginners and women. If you drink it in a wine glass, the aroma stands out and it is the best.

There was a lot of spring sake out, so I bought some. The label says that it has a spring-like sweetness and a slight astringency, and when I tried it, I was right. It is not a strong sweetness, but a sweetness that makes you feel spring, and after the sweetness recedes, the balance of modest astringency is pleasant and delicious. This is the second brand today. The liquor store had one that I don't usually see, so I bought it. When I drank it, it was really good. I bought it again. Eikoh Fuji. I've had it so many times that I know it's good, and I'd like to try other sakes, but I just can't resist buying it whenever I see it. This time, the rice is Yukigami. It has the sweet but light feeling of Eikoh Fuji, with a bit of acidity. By the way, I drank 11 kinds of Eikoh Fuji. It looks like I won't be able to get out of the Eikoh Fuji swamp for a while.

This is a Nabeshima orange label that had been sitting in the fridge for a while. There was a caution tag to open the bottle, but it was totally mature. I know it's delicious, but it has the freshness and gasiness of nama-shu, and the aroma and taste are perfect. I can't describe it well, but it's a really beautiful and delicious sake.

I remember drinking it somewhere before, and it was delicious. This time, it was a raw Arabashiri. When I poured it into the glass, the aroma was a bit unpleasant. (It's the kind of aroma you get from many Yamada Nishiki junmai daiginjos.) It doesn't say what kind of rice it is, but is it Yamadanishiki? I thought I missed something, but when I drank it, the aftertaste was surprisingly sharp and piquant, and it was well integrated. I think it's a very good sake, just not to my taste.

I was lucky enough to buy this Shinsei Cosmos at the end of the year. It goes in easily, and later spreads a gorgeous fragrance that makes me think I put a flower in my mouth. I imagine it as lychee. I think it would be great to pair this sake with Western food. Shinsei is a sake that really overturns the concept of sake.

This is my first time to try Rokune, recommended by a sake shop. He said it was good for drinking while eating at New Year's. I didn't open it on New Year's Day after all, but when I tried it, I understood what he meant. It has a refreshing yet calm impression, and is full-bodied, so it's delicious. In Yokohama, there were only a few places that carried it, but recently, department stores started to carry it. I heard that it may not be available in small liquor stores from now on. If you find it, I recommend you to try it.

This is the special junmai of Tasake that I saved to open on New Year's Day. Oh no. It's so delicious. I can feel the sweetness more than I expected, but it's not too sweet, and it's perfectly balanced. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I saw it.

The second bottle on New Year's Eve. It was my first Sagamitanada, a local sake from Kanagawa. After drinking Senkou's Snowball, I thought it would be nice to have an active nigori sake. It has a pleasant bubbling sensation and is not too sweet, so it goes well with food. This is a super delicious sake. The price was about 1,100 yen for a four-pack bottle, so it is very good.

The first bottle of New Year's Eve is a gift from Kitaya. It is a popular brand in Fukuoka and not seen at all in Kanto. The rice is 60% Yamadanishiki and 40% Omachi, with the Yamadanishiki providing the aroma from the glass and the Omachi providing the aroma after drinking. It's a Junmai Daiginjo, but it's easy to drink, you don't get tired of drinking it, and it's really delicious. Kitaya is a great sake.

Today is Christmas at our house. I chose this Senkou from a stock of several bottles. I just received the Riedel wine glasses I ordered online, so I'll try it right away. The wine glass makes the aroma stand out, and this Senkou Classic Solid smells fresh, like La France. It's no surprise that it's delicious when you drink it, and the sour aftertaste makes it a very beautiful sake from start to finish. This is the impression of Senkou. It goes better with western food than Japanese food. I was actually aiming for the Classic Omachi, but I couldn't buy it, so I went with the Classic Mujuku this time, but I would like to try the Classic Omachi as well.

It has been a long time since I was attracted by the label. It's 39% polished Omachi rice, so expectations are high. The moment it is poured into the glass, it smells like a Junmai Daiginjo. In the mouth, the juicy feeling that spreads out on the tongue from the extremely clear entrance is the best. It was a delicious sake that did not disappoint.
