My first sip of Honjozo, and it was surprisingly good. Light fruit and rice aroma. Clean, light bodied, with a slight fruitiness to it. Soft umami and a pleasant bitterness envelop the tongue and flow smoothly down the throat. There is not much of a lingering aftertaste, so it would go well with a meal.

This is my first local sake from Hiroshima Prefecture! I drank some of Tomikucho's sake when I was in Tokyo. But I forgot what flavor it tasted like at all... Too bad... Let's get started! It's a collaboration with tehajime and kurand. It's only 8% alcohol, so it's a great sake for beginners! The opening of the bottle didn't have much of an aroma, but on the palate, the aroma and taste of Riesling, like a white wine. My second bottle of Kutouryu Junmai, bought at the Hasegawa Sake Shop in Nihonbashi I'm not sure when I'll be able to go to Japan. The bottle opens with the scent of blooming apples and an elegant apple aroma. The taste was firm with a good balance of sweetness and a bit of flavor of the rice, a good balance. There was also a nice firing sensation on the tongue that was pleasant to feel. A little too much bitterness, but it didn't leave much of it down my throat. I finally drank the Sogapelle Efis. Bought it in April of this year, but there's no corkscrew, so It's been waiting in the fridge for a long time, thank you for your patience (◡◡).
