My first sip of Honjozo, and it was surprisingly good.
Light fruit and rice aroma.
Clean, light bodied, with a slight fruitiness to it.
Soft umami and a pleasant bitterness envelop the tongue and flow smoothly down the throat.
There is not much of a lingering aftertaste, so it would go well with a meal.
