It is slightly dry and has a nice sharpness so you won't get tired of drinking it 🤔It is a delicious sake, almost like a first squeezed raw sake 😚.

Freshly brewed with Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be good. The color is milky white. The smell is mild, with a hint of flowers. The taste is fruity, but not too sweet. It has a nice umami taste with a slight sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. You can feel the alcohol quite a bit, it's 17 degrees, so it's thick. It is easy to drink on the rocks with ice. I think it tastes better if you drink it this way. The first Toyoshu in a long time is a pure rice sake brewed with the Yamanokami yeast derived from sasayuri (a kind of lily of the valley) that blooms in the sacred grounds of the Ogami Shrine, a sacred place for sake. If you are a sake drinker in Nara, you must try this 😁. Perhaps it was because I was used to light and fruity junmai sake, but it was alcoholic, not too sweet, and had a firm mouthfeel. But it has a modern feel and is easy to drink. Yamano kami yeast was surprisingly not peculiar 🤔. Thank you for the food 🙏. I think I'll go visit Ookami shrine ⛩ again.

Iwate is often named after the pure-heartedness of the Tohoku region or after Kenji Miyazawa, and the rice is Gintome, which is a Gin user. Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.
