Nagurayama Shuzo's Aizu Shikon is brewed in Aizu Wakamatsu City. This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.
