Good evening! 😀 It's June and the weather is like a cold rainy season, so I don't know what to wear 😅. Tomorrow, it's going to be 2 degrees lower than today. I wonder if the weather will continue to be so bad 😱. The general meeting at the end of last month was held at a local grand hotel, and the sake used was Nanafukujin Junmai from the Kiku no Tsukasa Sake Brewery. The sake used was Nanafukujin Junmai by Kikunoji Sake Brewery. It is not sticky-sweet, but rather light and easy to drink. If the sake is not made with the same level of care and attention as the all-you-can-drink sake, more and more people will leave the sake industry, and short-term tricks will not be effective these days. This Sake surprised me. It starts sweet and fizzy then finishes dry. There is a soft mouth feel with a mild flavor of sweet pear. The finish is dry and clean. I am enjoying this as an after drink. 😃

This was my first time to drink Kagoshima sake. I thought it might be too strong, but it was easy to enjoy.

This is one of the bottles that was sold in a set with Tobiroki at Hasegawa sake shop, it was made in October 2020, so I guess they used Tobiroki to clear this stock 😅. I'm not a big fan of the Satsuma Masamune, but I'm not a big fan of the Tobiroki either. I was a bit worried because it's a raw stored sake, almost a year after production, but there were no quality issues 😄. Rather, I didn't feel the peculiarity that I felt when I drank Junmai Ginjo before, and it tastes better than that time 🌟. It has a slight sweetness, a strong alcohol feeling and a spiciness that comes down the throat, not very distinctive but enough for everyday drinking. Cold sake is the best 😚

#Hamamatsu# Nagura Sake Shop On the second day back to my parents' house, I first visited Kakegawa's 🍶. We went to a local liquor store and bought a bottle of spring limited edition sake. First time drinking this brand, we had it with my family 😁. I was told that it's good to drink it cold, so I made it very cold ❄️❄️ When I opened the bottle, the aroma was not so strong, probably because it was chilled... When I put it in my mouth, I could feel the coldness and the richness of the flavor. And a good amount of spiciness... It's delicious, I can drink it easily 😆😆😆.

Trophies of the GW Kanazawa - Takayama trip. When I think of canned draft sake, I think of Kikusui Ichiban Shibori, but since this sake is also from Ishikawa Prefecture, which is famous for its sake, my expectations naturally went up. The design of the can is also austere. Chill it in the refrigerator and open the bottle! Oh, you can feel a slight shwash and a refreshing sweetness (Kikusui Funakuchi Ichiban Shibori has a mellow sweetness). It's delicious. OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024⑧ This is another unknown sake brewery, Yukijaku Sake Brewery. It is made from Yamada-Nishiki with a 38% rice polishing ratio and unfiltered. According to the official website, there are two types of sake: hi-ire and nama, but the one I drank was probably hi-ire. I think it was fruity and quite sweet 🤔. Forgot to take notes💦.
