Trophies of the GW Kanazawa - Takayama trip. When I think of canned draft sake, I think of Kikusui Ichiban Shibori, but since this sake is also from Ishikawa Prefecture, which is famous for its sake, my expectations naturally went up. The design of the can is also austere. Chill it in the refrigerator and open the bottle! Oh, you can feel a slight shwash and a refreshing sweetness (Kikusui Funakuchi Ichiban Shibori has a mellow sweetness). It's delicious. Quite a fine Junmai Daiginjo sake. There is enough mellow deliciousness. It is a talented brewery in Saitama. Aside from Kamikame, it is the second best sake in Saitama after Hanayo-yoku.

This is the first time I drink it at home. I bought it from Kurumiya in Hachinohe because they only sell one bottle of sake in my neighborhood. I also bought two other kinds of sake that cannot be bought in Kansai. The packaging was very careful and excellent. The aroma is subtle, with hints of strawberries and berries. The refreshing sweetness and acidity are pleasant. The final taste is bitter. I have the impression that Miyamanishiki and other sake I have had in the past were sweeter. I wish there was a store in Kansai where I could buy Shugou... I heard that the sake brewery here is aging, with all the employees over 65 years old. I wonder if that's why they don't distribute much.

Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`;) I see that the sake is from Nada. I recently found out that there is a small sake brewery in Nada and bought some Houmusume, which was outstandingly delicious! And this Hamafukutsuru! This is also wonderful! It has a beautiful breadth of flavor and just the right amount of body. The best part is the price: about 1,100 yen! I wish there was one in my neighborhood! When I go to Kobe for Onsen (hot springs), it is so close to the station that I might even stop by a sake brewery just for this!
